Q: I need 300 ft. of service entrance cable and I've been told I need 4 guage 3 wire 200 amp aluminum is what I need but I'm wondering if this 1 guage overhead line would work just as well if buried in 2electrical pvc conduit for 300 ft.: This query has been asked alot of times. Easily since there is no voltage change along the fowl. We could say the cable has 10000V. At one claw(contact) it's 10000V and at the other leg (the other contact) is 10000V. In view that there is not any voltage change, a current will not drift to kill the chicken. Its similar to two related containers of water with both of equal water degree. Water is not going to waft from one container. Except the chook touches one other object of one-of-a-kind voltage lets' say the ground with 0V. 10000V is doing work by way of pushing a current through the hen inflicting a current and potentially killing the chicken. Q: i have a cable modem that i lost the power cord to. i found another that fits but the output listed on the adapter is 12.5vdc. the modem lists +12vdc. can I use them together? i plugged it in and it lit up for a while but then went out but I don't really know how the modem is supposed to work if there's no internet connected to it.: first! are you sure the modem needs 12 V DC and not 12 V AC? Mine uses AC. OK, you can use a 12.5V in a 12V modem - the extra .5V is not a problem... Next, make sure the polarity is correct!! center pin is the correct polarity? If not, POOF! You will let the smoke out. Have you considered that the modem is bad and the power supply is not the problem here. If the modem is bad, you may have killed the supply you plugged in.

Q: when i remove the cable it becomes lighter again. what can i do to fix this problem. the os is winXP: Your power settings are messed up. For some reason, they must be set so that the screen will be dimmed when the laptp is running on the cord. You actually want the settings to dim the display when on battery. Right click onthe battery/power icon on the lower right side of your screen. Select Power Options or something like that if your running XP and adjust the settings when on AC.
