I am running a LAN Cable through my walls, and I'm using the existing holes for the power lines. I'm wondering if the RF from the power line can interfere with the LAN Cables data. Thanks!
It should be okay, LAN cables are meant to be up to 100 meters long, your shorter cables shouln't pick up too much interference. Also, the wires are shielded and in twisted pairs which helps to negate interference. Not only that but for this reason the network adaptors will be designed to filter out low frequencies.
i have a 97 chevy malibu and i need to know where to run the power cable through the fire wall. or where could i get a diagram that is simple enough for me to understand...
if you can fit under you dash you can see that mostly all cars and i say all cars becuase iv been doing this for over 10yrs and all cars have a wire that comes from the stearing colum that goes through a rubber gasket into your engine. What we do is the gasket already has a hole in it push your chair as far back as can go and shimmy under the dash bring a flash light becuase its sometimes hard to see and youll see a round black rubber type thing with a wire already running through it. Thats the one to use you might need a long metel thin rod or use a meter coat hanger. Using black electrical tape, tape some of the power wire to the tip of the hanger and push it through the exsisting whole as far as you can then go into your engine and you should be able to see the wire then just pull it to the length you need to wire to the batter dont forget to install a fuse at least 30amps or more depending on how many watts amp your running it for. Dont worry if the little round gasket pops out it can some times do that once your finished with pulling it out and you know your not going to be pulling on the wire again. Then you can actually push the gasket back into place that only if it popped out if it didnt then your good to go.

ok, i want to install and upgrade the sound system in my car, volkswagen 2006, but i dont know where to run the power cable from the battery in engine compartment to the trunk where i place the amplifiers, anyone who knows, please help me out. thanks
Think outside the box. Literally. You don't have to go through the passenger compartment...you can run the wires under the vehicle. Just be sure to tie them up well. Good luck.
I got a free graphics card from my cousin and my computer only has the SATA slots for graphic cards and the one he gave me has the 4 Pin cable. Is there anyway to get it converted or any cables that can go from 4 Pin to sata? I wanna see how this graphics card goes when its working fully.
Sure you don't have any molex connectors at all? Not even in your DVD drive? If so, get a Y adapter with a good amount of length. If not, then look for an adapter. Be careful as the vast majority are to convert a molex power cable to a SATA power connector, not the other way around. In the worst case you could hook up a separate power supply to it.
When i want to connect two SATA hard drives do I need some power cable on slave or just to connect it with sata cable and that'it? Because I did it like that and it's not recognized. And I don't have second SATA power supply cable in my computer.
Of course you will need power, how is it to run without it?
What is the difference between the power BV line and the power YJV cable?
