Q:As for cast aluminum sheet or wrought one, which one has faster heat conduction?
1,duralumin: it's the alloy of aluminum, copper, magnesium, manganese and other metals. it's suitable for compacting by rolling, and it has a higher strength and hardness than common aluminum products. 2, aluminum: it contains many inpurities, is crisp and easy to be smashed.cast aluminum usually is secondary aluminum, and it is produced by remelting the collected old aluminum pots and spoons.3, wrought aluminum: it contains 98% aluminum and 2% or more inpurities, and is comparatively pure aluminum. its soft priority makes it suitable for being pressed into various shapes, aluminum pots, aluminum lunch box, aluminum sheets, aluminum wires, aluminum pipes are all made by wrought aluminum.you will know their defferences from their definition.
Q:Does anyone know why Mercury -(Thimerosal) is used in Flu Vaccinations and where Mercuryisnot used Aluminium in other vaccines ? While these are known to be toxic metals, can these cause headaches, severe hot burning heads and or Sinusitus ?
Thimerosal is not the same as mercury. It's a mercury-based preservative which to prevent the growth of germs, bacteria and fungi, that can contaminate them. It's used in seasonal flu vaccine because the vaccine is produced in large quantities and often in multi-dose vials. Thimerosal helps safeguard against possible contamination of the vial once it is opened. The aluminum in vaccines is aluminum hydroxide, aluminum phosphate, alum (potassium aluminum sulfate), or mixed aluminum salts. They're an adjuvant added to enhance the immune response in the vaccinated individual. Whether or not something is toxic has to do with how much a person receives not the substance itself. People can die from drinking too much water, but we don't go around calling water toxic. The amount of mercury or aluminum in vaccines is so small that it's not toxic. You ingest more mercury by eating fish and a baby ingest more aluminum in breast milk than they get in a vaccine. So if mercury and aluminum caused head aches, severe hot burning heads or sinusitis in a person, that person would have a lot more to worry about than vaccines since they would be exposed to those things in so many other ways.
Q:Which kind of solution should I use while welding aluminum sheet and copper pipe by tin soldering?
1, you must use over 350W soldering iron, 2,prepare some borax and tin soldering paster, you can’t use rosin to weld it, 3, polish the pipe to clean with fine abrasive paper and borax, 4, put the pipe and sheet into borax, use the soldering trip to rub on the weldment with some borax. 5, after the pipe and sheet become hot, use the soldering iron with the paster and tin to rub the pipe and sheet in borax, then it can be welded. 6, they can be welded together after welding.
Q:Hi I am getting a laptop pretty soon and have pretty much decided on a Mac. But really a white macbook is $1150, and aluminum is $1400. And just so no one says this, the white one is updated with all the same hardware(Advanced graphics, etc.) I want to get it asap so the $250 would mean about 2 months longer which would kind of be a drag. I also understand the aluminum doesn't have a firewire port, but idk what the hell that even is so can someone explain what it is and why I would care about it. Basically, is it worth the 2 months and $250 for the aluminum. Thanks.
There is no difference between the plastic/aluminum on the inside at all except for the firewire port, and some of the aesthetic differences (the aluminum one just looks cooler in my opinion, the lcd is behind the glass panel, the trackpad is made of glass too, and the battery meter is on the side, not underneath like the white macbook). Firewire is IEEE 1394, it's like USB but not used as much except with high-speed external hard drives and digital video cameras (which can be used with video editing software on Macs). It is faster than USB.
Q:What the glue of L solidified aluminum and fast acrylic plate, solid glue?
Aluminum and acrylic adhesive, if you want to achieve high strength without any effect, can be bonded with KD-5603 trace glue, but this should be with the help of UV curing light curing, if there is no UV curing light, the sun is strong weather, stick in the sun after 30 minutes can be the bonding effect of glass panel; the specific effects can refer to the general glass coffee table with four Aluminum Alloy column, don't see any traces of adhesive;
Q:Over 5 billion aluminum cans are recycled each year. If laid end to end, these cans would form a line reaching from?
No, Ed. 1 billion seconds = 31.69 years, so it was the spring of 1976. Also 1 billion minutes ago = about 1901.3 years ago, so Christ would have been about 100. But I digress... Anyway, let's say the average aluminum can is 4.9 tall (I measured a Coke can). 5 billion cans would be 24.5 billion inches tall. This would be 386,679 miles. This would be from the Earth to the moon (about 250,000 miles) and halfway back again!
Q:Are aluminum sheets suitable for marine applications?
Yes, aluminum sheets are suitable for marine applications. Aluminum is a commonly used material in the maritime industry due to its excellent corrosion resistance and durability in marine environments. It is lightweight, yet strong, which makes it an ideal choice for various applications including boat building, ship hulls, decks, and other marine structures. Additionally, aluminum has a high strength-to-weight ratio, which improves fuel efficiency and reduces operational costs. Its ability to withstand harsh saltwater conditions, along with its low maintenance requirements, further makes it a popular choice in marine applications. Overall, aluminum sheets are a reliable and effective material for use in the marine industry.
Q:Can aluminum sheets be used for heat exchangers?
Indeed, heat exchangers can utilize aluminum sheets. Aluminum, known for its remarkable heat conductivity, proves to be a perfect choice when it comes to heat exchangers. Its superior thermal conductivity facilitates exceptional heat transfer between fluids, leading to efficient heat exchange. Moreover, aluminum sheets possess the advantages of being lightweight, resistant to corrosion, and exhibiting commendable mechanical properties. These additional attributes further enhance their suitability for various heat exchanger applications.
Q:Can aluminum sheets be used for cookware?
Yes, aluminum sheets can be used for cookware. Aluminum is a popular material for cookware due to its excellent heat conductivity and lightweight properties. Aluminum sheets are often used as the base or core material in the construction of cookware, such as pots, pans, and baking sheets. They are typically coated with a nonstick or ceramic layer for added durability and ease of use. However, it is important to note that pure aluminum is reactive with certain acidic or alkaline foods, which can cause a metallic taste or discoloration. To prevent this, most aluminum cookware is anodized or coated to create a barrier between the food and the aluminum surface. Overall, aluminum sheets are a versatile and commonly used material for cookware in both professional and home kitchens.
Q:Can aluminum sheets be polished?
Certainly, aluminum sheets are capable of being polished. Aluminum, being a relatively malleable metal, lends itself to easier polishing in comparison to harder metals like stainless steel. The act of polishing aluminum sheets entails the utilization of abrasive substances such as sandpaper or polishing compounds. This serves to eliminate any blemishes, scratches, or oxidation present on the surface. Typically, the process involves multiple stages of polishing, employing varying degrees of grit in sandpaper or polishing compounds. Step by step, a smoother and more reflective surface is attained. Polished aluminum sheets find common usage in various applications, including automotive components, architectural elements, and ornamental objects. The polishing process elevates the metal's aesthetic appeal, imparting a glossy and reflective finish.
