Q:How to choose how to buy closet door ah?
When choosing a wardrobe, note the following: 1. Is the thickness of the door panel full of thick, high enough height. Sliding door with the wood, the best choice 10mm or 12mm thick plate, use up strong, stable, durable; slightly worse will use 8mm thick, it is relatively thin, frivolous. Door height is decided whether the decoration to the ceiling, requiring a single plate height of 2.8 meters or more, up to the ceiling. 2. Whether the variety of doors and materials are rich and varied. Different consumer ideas correspond to different color hobbies. Currently on the market for the production of sliding doors of the main materials are wood, glass, mirrors and other special materials. Colors are beech, cherry, maple, maple, oak, black walnut, white pine and so on. 3. Whether the door and the border are consistent. Brand wardrobe cabinet door frame, door from the same manufacturers, the color lines can be achieved consistent, supporting unity. And miscellaneous wardrobe is often patchwork, can only find similar color plate, border, can not be completely consistent. 4. Whether the wheels are smooth, pressure, wear, safe and reliable. Brand wardrobe pulley is generally made of carbon glass fiber (international new high-tech materials) made with within the ball, with a non-drying lubricant, it can easily push and pull, smooth and flexible, and bearing capacity, pressure, wear Not deformed. Pulley guide is the sliding door of the core technical parts, we must carefully choose. 5. Whether the cabinet is professional, whether the design is scientific fashion. Currently popular fashion wardrobe cabinet, the design is very scientific and reasonable
Q:I just bought a home with an unfinished basement. I was thinking of finishing the basement and creating a game room. I wanted to soundproof it but I dont want to spend a ton of money. I know that I can buy soundproof drywall but that stuff is expensive! Is there anything that I can stuff between the ceiling beams to soundproof the room? I dont want to put in a double layer of sheetrock becuase the ceiling is already only 7 feet. Thanks!
Well, seeing as you don't have a whole lot of room down there, the best thing is soundboard. What's above it? Are you able to add anything to the floor above? Egg cartons work FANTASTIC!!! I have used them twice before. The second time, I sprayed them with foam and you could not hear ANYTHING upstairs. It does take away height tho'. They are very cheap to buy, but a pain the you know what to install. Well worth it for me though. Good Luck!
Q:We have removed our rough sawn cedar from our cathedral ceiling in our 80's home. We found fiberglass insulation and 2x6 joists (the roof is directly above). The first electrician came out before we removed the ceiling and assumed there was no insulation and said we needed to get spray insulation because of the condensation can lights can cause. The other electrician we called out came after we removed the ceiling and did not say anything about condensation. Neither said anything about ice dams. I am seeing all this pretty scary stuff when doing my research, and am thinking we shouldn't put in recessed lighting now! We live in Wyoming where the climate can be pretty cold, but is usually very dry.So, if we use LED lamps and IC airtight housings, will the heat transfer really be bad enough to cause condensation and/or ice dams? Would it help to put some foam board between the shallow housings and the roofing substrate (if it fits)? We are only planning on putting up 6 6" lights in a 10x20 room...
You have to get the right kind of lights. LED lights don't get all that hot, but unless they're made for zero clearance, yes they do need some airspace around them. They make some with no need for airspace around them. They have an additional can around them to allow the space they need. Get the right kind, no problems, get the wrong kind, lots of problems.
Q:also do the electronic noise makers get rid of the litte critters?
NO to both parts of your question. You will be much better off if you find how they are getting in.
Q:What is the best material for interior decoration
Now the company said that environmental protection is nothing to point. Such as a wooden side, you go to the test is environmentally friendly, a gypsum board you to detect is environmentally friendly. But if the wooden side and gypsum board, floor furniture are placed in a space to environmental protection? The No one is so good to say, so I tell you the safest way: less use of plastic, less use of the plate (which is compressed with high temperature). The rest I can only tell you the price is relatively high. Water pipe on the line on the line. Blockboard with Garbo's a grade board. The local wire can be. Waterproof is important. Your home if it is not geothermal with ordinary waterproof glue (and cement can use the kind of) can. There is geothermal words so good. OKorder rain rainbow on the line (thick layer of rubber). Wooden side with a small pine can be. What do you want to ask? Jinde's tube ads are good. The time to do the tube is not ever long
Q:I read that fiberglass insulation that has a backing sheet should have the backing sheet toward the heated space. The insulation in the basement ceiling has the backing sheet toward the inside of the basement not the bottom of the floor above. Does this trap moisture and cause a lot of harm or does it just make the insulation less effective? Do I need to take it all down and start with new insulation? Should I just add a new layer over the top what is there?
The insulation is hung properly...the paper side goes to the outside of the joists it was hung from..It is stapled in and needs the paper for something to staple too..it will not hurt the efectiveness or insulation properties at all hung that way...You cannot staple the pink part of the insulation itself..it will fall off in a matter of a few eeks..per say...when you have a wall you have to have one side on one sde of the wall to staple to..but it also insulates both sides of the walls..if this wasnt the case..they would have to put 2 bats of insulaton on every insde wall instead of just one..it will insulate bothsides
Q:Hi, about 2 weeks ago I was in my ex boyfriend's attic (with his permission! lol) and he noticed a crack, which turned into a hole when I slipped and almost fell through into the bedroom! If you lie in bed you can now see right through to the attic; while it could be considered a design feature, my ex isn't keen on it :-) It's not very big, probably only 1.5ft square if that but obviously the plaster is missing, one of the lathes (think that's what they're called; the thin pieces of wood just behind the plaster) is broken in half and poking throught he hole and little bits of the fibreglass indsulation are falling down. My ex told his landlord who said it would cost ?150 to repair the damage, but I'm convinced my ex could do it himself...but how? Any ideas? I have been offered a large piece of plasterboard, could he use this in any way and would he have to enlarge the hole to replace the entire lathe? How does he replaster...etc - help please!
You only need to replace the lath with anything which will act as a backing for the spack filler which you will need to get from a hardware store or even your local supermarket if your lucky. A suitable replacement will hold your bit of plasterboard, which you have cut to fill the hole as best as possible, and must be able to cope with the environment in the attic, ie not rot. Then fill the crack around the edge with spack filler (white stuff, like plaster, many different types) Then when thet repair has set fill over the plaster board to make it level with the roof, any white spack filler type material. Dry sand and paint to match celing (that is the hard part). Good luck.
Q:How to install an extruded board for heat insulation?
Mounting fixture: 4 pieces per square meter but not less than one on each block. Extruded board paste firmly, usually within 1-2 hours to install the fixed parts, the depth of the basement of 50 mm bore depth of 60 mm.
Q:Cast-in-place floor (ceiling position) Reinforcement protective layer is not enough, local steel exposed. I intend to use epoxy resin mortar
If not skilled, epoxy resin mortar is not good to paint. And grass-roots bonding is a problem, the level of skilled workers is also a problem. Suggest, 1, steel rust to be completely, or the same burst open; 2, carbon fiber reinforcement approach, that is, epoxy resin plus fiberglass cloth, professional construction. Quality assurance, the effect is much better than their own configuration of epoxy resin mortar. In addition, crack prevention. This method of handling is a formal approach that can be changed by design. 3, the surface putty putty, it is finished.
Q:Gypsum board plus alkali-free glass fiber benefits
Refractory paper gypsum board: its core to increase the refractory material and a large number of glass fiber, if cut gypsum board, you can see from the cross section of a lot of glass fiber. Good quality refractory plaster board will choose a good refractory performance of alkali-free glass, the general products are selected in the alkali or high alkali glass
