(2)Thermal/heat insulation: Owing to low heat conductivity, the product has good performances on keeping warm and heat insulation.

(3)Water-proofing and moistureproof: The product is allowed to long-term exposure to moist environment but still very stable. The board still keeps intact after being soaked in water for one month, the phenomenon of swelling and out of shape will not happen. It has good adjusting mechanics like woods. Q: we have numerous recessed light fixtures in our ceiling. Is fiberglass insulation flammable?
The fiberglass or the paper may contact the light housing without any risk of fire, the housing is designed to shield the insulation from the heat. You could even put blown-in insulation next to it.
Q: Our basement family room has an insulated ceiling but the bedrooms do not. One bedroom is below a bathroom and it gets very loud because of a water waste pipe. We have a storage room that has open access to the ceiling space. It would be about 20ft that we would have to push insulation into. This seems like it would be very hard with traditional roll insulation. It would be very easy to put some lengths of soundboard or xps or something in, but I don't know if it would achieve the desired effect. Thanks in advance.
i think blow in would work.
Q: I am redoing my basement and am wondeirng what is the best way to insulate the basement ceiling, mainly to cut down on noise. My house is fairly old and the hardwood floors we have upstairs creak very loudly when you walk on them, and can be heard through the basement. Would fiberglass insulation work to cut down on footstep noise? If i put two layers in the ceiling would that be better? Or if I carpet upstairs would that muffle the sound?
i might propose the two the a million.5 - 3 foam for the partitions and floor. Do the main you could break out with. You screw the plywood to the floor with concrete screws/washers with the froth below. All joints of the froth are taped. then you definitely can bypass over this with carpet. or you could decide for the dearer dricore plywood yet without the insulation. The partitions will basically have foam decrease to bypass at the back of the studs or between them. The ceiling of the basement will use non-confronted insulation yet insulation won't be needed on the ceiling.
Q: I have a partially finished basement, hardwood floors above. What can I do soundproof the unfinished ceiling? I'm not planning on finishing, I want that area to serve as a hang out spot for the family and I don't want to worry about fiberglass dust.
What is fiberglass dust? Fiberglass doesn't make dust. Nothing wrong with using fiberglass insulation.... it'll work the best.
Q: I live in the basement and the tiles in my drop ceiling are so annoying there the normal whatever material they are and i have dark carpeting and i guess our house sucks because I have to vacuum all the time because ill look down and there will be white specks all over the floor which im guessing is coming from the tiles from when people walk upstairs. So i want to replace them with a material that wont do that.
hopefully they are the drop in tiles. if that's the case you can replace them with tiles that are fiberglass plastic coated tiles from home depot or lowe's. i have been using that type of tile in EVERY room in my house. some of them are over 35 years old and are still in place. you can take them down and wash the and scrub them clean using 409 Formula. they' re lightweight and water wont hurt them unlike the cardboard kind that when get wet they stain. they only come in a few designs but are usually all acceptable. hey come in sheets of 2 X 4 that can then be cut easily to any size smaller than that. all my room are done in 2X2's. remember this is for dropped ceilings only. you ned about 4 inches between the real ceiling and the drop ceiling to be able to put the new tiles in. you need to figure out the square feet of the rooms ceiling . let's pretend it's a 10 X 10 room, that would equal 10 times 10 which would be 100 square feet of tile. good luck to ya.
Q: How to do a good job on the wall when the level of leveling work
With a thin paper to protect the wall can be self-leveling construction
Q: Plastic heat resistance temperature What is the heat-resistant temperature of various plastics such as PE PVC PP PS ABS polymethylmethacrylate (abbreviation?) PC melamine
Ask you how much heat, you say so much nonsense what is the use But the brothers ah, the heat temperature and a variety of materials and additives have a great relationship, and in reality our materials are some of the mixture. In addition you processing film and sheet profiles, and are not the same. General crystalline resins such as PE, PP, PA and so below the melting point to maintain the shape, but the performance can not be guaranteed to see how high your requirements, the specific circumstances of specific analysis, but the glass transition temperature can be long-term use. Shaped resin such as PVC, PS and other use of the higher temperature.
Q: Can you play a sound absorbing effect with a grid ceiling?
With a grille ceiling, sealed ceiling (or microporous, such as aluminum microplate, gypsum microplate), to maintain a certain internal space, the deeper the better the internal strength, the air filled with sound-absorbing cotton, Allow, fill about 20 centimeters. Do not fill up. Such as off the micro-porous ceilings, sound-absorbing cotton can be sealed with non-woven (anti-sound-absorbing cotton dust).
Q: What is the classification of wallpaper in the end
There are many kinds of what you want to know?
Q: Will the attic insulation how to do?
Long life, much higher than other insulation materials.
