Q: i wanna know if a 4gb ipod connector transfer songs to a 8bg ipod toch
All iPod connectors use the same type of connection and therefore work on all iPods. Of course it will.
Q: I have searched Ford, OKorder and the internet in general. Where in the world can I get the connector that goes from the factory plug to the dvd player?
That connector is probably in the factory DVD player, is wired just for the factory unit. Dig on OKorder for a factory DVD player.
Q: i don't want to wire and i don't want to buy a connector are there any aftermarket 6x9's that will connect to my stock connector where the stock speakers go or will i just have to buy a connector :-(
There may be adapters, but a simple splice might be more economical and easier.
Q: I want to connect my dvd player to this TV. The problem is that the TV only has the kind of screw in cable connection that comes from the wall. Now I have knowledge that the screw in cables are called coaxial cables.Does the black RCA port on the back of my dvd player marked coaxial have anything to do w/ the standard screw in RF coaxial? can i splice two ends together?
No. The black (sometime orange) RCA connector on your DVD player is for digital sound output. You use it to connect a digital source to a receiver with digital coax inputs. What you need is an RF Modulator of some sort. The basic ones will take in one composite input (RCA, yellow, red, and white/black) and output via RF coaxial cable (RG-6). Others will act as a switch with multiple inputs, sometimes multiple outputs. You're looking at a cost of $25-50 retail for such devices.
Q: I need to convert my satellite input that is a coaxial cable to an RCA cable without using a VCR or DVD player or any other component. I need more than just a connector that turns it into one male RCA. I need the coaxial connection to convert to both video and audio. Any suggestions on how to do this?
Sorry, there is no easy way to do this. Yes you can get an RF Adaptor (connector) that will allow you to physically connect the two, but it won't work. The problem is that the video and audio signal from your satellite (your coax) is modulated onto a channel frequency. This channel frequency needs to be removed, which is what you need an RF converter for. Simplest and cheapest way is to use an inexpensive VCR or DVD, which uses it's tuner to do this. You don't say why this is not an option. Is there an un-used RF input on your system that can be used?
Q: i was disassembling an electronic device that i have and i ended up pulling out the Elastomeric connector between the LCD's glass contacts and the PCB.these are elastomeric connectors:
u have written an awesome question.Dude,u rockedno answers yet.thats the rocking part of it. 3 days, but no answers ha ha,,,,,,,,
Q: Hi ! Now my problem is that I don't know if it's safe to try the 4-Pin within the 8-Pin? (My motherboard has an 8-Pin) So I bought this Motherboard, (GA-P55-USB3) and I bought a PSU with 650W. I don't know the needs for my CPU, if it won't work because of the 4-Pin. My processor is an Intel Core i5 760 2.8Gz. Does this processor need an 8-Pin, or will it work with a 4-Pin.If this won't work, can someone of you suggest a store where I can get one? Preferably a Norwegian one. (A site that ships this kinda stuff to Norway would be great as well.)Also, I've been looking on some sites where they sell these connectors, but they don't ship off to Norway. Now I read something about a F-and M-side of the connectors? What does this mean?(Sorry if my English isn't all great and stuff)Thanks !
The motherboard needs to have the 8 pin plug for CPu and for other buss items. What type/model is the 650w power supply? The F and M side of a connector usually means Male/Female.
Q: I purchased 1/2 fmc conduit, 1/2 bushings, 1/2 knockout junction box, and 1/2 connectors. The conduit, bushings and knockout seem to fit, but the connector looks too small? What size connector should I be using with 1/2 fmc? Or is there a trick to connecting it?
The connectors should be a little bit larger than a 1/2 inch and should slide right over top of the 1/2 conduit. If the don't I would take the items back to the store becasue that is their purpose.
Q: hey i have a IDE setup in my computer and i want to add another hard drive to it but my 80 conductor IDE only has one connector. My question is how do i add another one? I already have one, took it off another one i have. Just wondering the proper procedure of putting that one on. Searched around the net and found nothing. Will be very grateful with a solid answer.
There are cables to run 2 IDE devices off one port on the board. You must set up the Bios for slave and master or cable select for boot purposes. The colors of the plugs on the cable determine the cable select feature. There are available round cables for IDE. I have one -it cuts down on the blocked space of air flow and stays neat. No messy ribbon cables. Here's a address to check them out. Hope it helps.
Q: CAN ANYBODY PLEASE GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF A U.H.F. CONNECTOR????Also kindly advise me on how can I reduce impedance losses while connecting a coaxial cable between a source and a load through connectors. Like a 50 MHz source and 50 MHz load impedance matching might suffer losses due to dielectrics(male-female air gap), resistance, etc.PLEASE PLEASE DO ANSWER.I URGENTLY NEED THE ANSWER.LOTS OF THANX IN ADVANCE
Use N-type connectors.
