Q: i do not have a manual as yet but would like to buy a diagnostic scanner for this car, thanks in advance
Usually, the connectors are located on the drivers side of the car. You may have to crawl on your back and look straight up under the dashboard to find it. There may be a removable piece of plastic molding that will make it easier to see. There will be many electrical wires running here and there, but the one you are looking for will have a connector about 1 inch long.
Q: I bought a raptor amp install kit, the 4 gauge one. I have everything under control with the install except I am unsure how to connect the power wire to the battery. The wire I have is just flush and they put some connectors in the kit but I dont know how to securely do it.

Q: I was thinking that I could buy a SATA to USB cable, would that subsitute for the broken SATA connector and could I just run my hard drive like that? Also, can you get those connectors fixed at a shop, or would I have to completely buy a new motherboard?
i keep around a couple of motherboards in the junk box and this way i can take stuff like sata connectors off of em to fix broke ones. since a sata connector has way fewer connections than a pata, it really ain't all that hard to solder a new on onto a motherboard. u might try that if u feel u are up to it. if u have any doubts to your ability to do this tho, don't do it. u can mess up your motherboard royally if u short somethin.
Q: I will be purchasing an ASUS radeon hd 6870 and I am wondering if a 6 pin or a 6+2 from my PSU. Some power supplies come with only the 6 pin connectors. Do I need a 6+2 pin connector? What is the difference?
6 2 Pin Pcie
Q: Can sombody find out if my PC has it or not. cause i don't know how to. PleaseMy PC name is SR1900NXMotherboard name is P5RC-LEThank you for your help!!!!!
A 6-pin connector is required for video cards that needs more than 75 watts of electrical power. A video card that needs more than 75 watts will have a 6-pin plug on the card, which you must connect to a 6-pin cable from a computer's power supply. Cards that need less than 75 watts don't have the 6-pin connector, because the card can draw up to 75 watts directly from the slot in which it is inserted. The 6-pin has nothing to do with your motherboard.
Q: Hello, I have been woundering on how to connect my usb pannel connector, the connector has one red wire one white wire one green wire and a black wire the black wire is prob for the ground wire. On the connector where I think its supposted to go says usb6 7 panel1
There is a connector for USB devices, it is normally 9 pins. for a two port header. Your manual for your motherboard typically tells which is designated for which and each wire should be labeled as well. Normally the cord is already set and you don't have to plug each one individually.
Q: Does anyone know where the OBD connector is located on this model?
16 pin connector that is wider on one side that the other, located underneath the edge of the dash between the right hand side of the steering wheel and the drivers side end of the dash
Q: HelloI've just replaced the power supply in my Gateway (420GR) due to a bad fan in the otherwise working old supply. With the new supply, the fans only spin-on (all case, cpu, and ps fans) only when the P4 connector is not attached. (the keyboard lights go on for a second as on reboot but then the mouse and keyboard show no life) When the P4 connector is attached, the fans begin to spin (for a very small moment) and then stop. In neither case does the system seem to boot. This behavior is experienced with both the new power supply and the ond supply, but only after the old supply was re-installed. Before the supply upgrade, there were no issues with the system.Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this issue?
When P4 connector is attached, your power supply seems to sense an overload condition and activates auto shutdown safety feature. Your unplugging and plugging connectors to the motherboard may have caused it to be grounded w/ the case. Try dismounting the motherboard and powering your PC w/ the board not electrically touching anything in the case.
Q: I just bought a 2006 FEMA trailer in decent shape. It's got what I believe is a standard round 7-slot female adapter near the two propane tanks for operating the electric brakes and trailer brake lighting. My truck, a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II, has a smaller 1 diameter male receptacle near the Reese hitch. I cannot find an adapter to connect the two. My Rover is equipped with an electric brake controller specifically for towing an RV or other trailer equipped with electric brakes. Looked at UHaul, AutoZone and several other similar retailers with no luck. Any do-it-yourself suggestions as far as plug-and-go adapters to mate the two? My local Land Rover dealer was no help whatsoever.
I Don't think an adapter for this application exists. You will probably have to replace your receptacle with the larger unit. This is very simple if you have a 12V test light. Wiring instructions come with the new receptacle, and you can buy them at Walmart, Camping World, or any RV dealer. Just make sure the view of the receptacle on the wiring diagram is the REAR of the thing, not the front. One other option is to buy mating parts and build your OWN adapter, which is what I did to hook up my trailer to my motorhome. P.S. Walmart has a pretty fair selection of adapters and connectors FYI. Be careful though, we don't see many Land Rovers over here a Wally Mart. Maybe you should drive the Volvo when you come in.yuk, yuk. (I crack me up)
