- Q: Hey everyone! I'm doing a pc build with a MSI R5450-MD1GD3H/LP gpu. I'm having a little trouble finding the right power supply, and i believe i need a pci express connector to power the gpu. What pin setup do i need? All it says on newegg is that it is PCI Express 2.0 x16. Thanks in advance!
- The Radeon 5450 doesn't consume enough power to require a PCI-E 6pin connector. The 5450 will work with a 250w power supply. As you can guess, the 5450 will struggle with games that are 3 years old. new games are almost unplayable with the 5450. It will do an ok job with an old game like Counterstrike Source. Pretty much every card that's under $90 doesn't require a 6-pin connector. You need at least a GTX 450 or a Radeon 6750 before you actually need a 6-pin connector. AMD is stark raving loony if they say the 5450 needs more than a 300w power supply. The card by it's self only uses 18w at the most.
- Q: i want to remove my hard disk ! is it easy to remove the power and IDE connectors ? will they get damaged easily ?
- Not hard. Turn off power to PC and unplug the unit before beginning. Pull the IDE and power cable out evenly and gently. Same goes for re-seating the cables, especially the IDE, as this connector can damage the pins. On the IDE connector one side has a large portion in the middle. This will only fit into one side of the IDE port on the MB so look for this. Good luck.
- Q: Hi, I need to check terminal connection of my idle control valve. However, it is extremely difficult to pull out the harness connector cable. It is locked to the male side. I tried to push the small plastic lever to release the female end but I could not. I feel I almost broke the plastic lever because of too much power. Is there any way that I can remove the female end easily? Thanks!! I am in middle of fixing it.Need quick answer!!!Thousands of thanks!!!
- Find a similar connector on the car and take a look at that to see why this one is being so difficult. Sometimes is helps to push first which you are trying to operate the latch, then pull to remove. Latches like this also sometimes are best manipulated with a small screwdriver, nail hammered flat, etc. Also consider not taking it off. You can check electrical conditions by inserting a pin as a probe into the back side of the connector, or even by piercing the wire. Or consider breaking the plastic and just putting tape over it when done. Another trick is to clamp a vise grips pliers on one male side, and they you can pry off that against the edge of the female side. Although clamping too hard risks breaking the plastic anyway.
- Q: Does anyone know where I can get an 80Pin SCSI Male Connector (External)?
- Do you want just a connector? Or do you want to be able to connect external SCSI devices to the computer - in which case you'll need a SCSI card, not a SCSI connector.
- Q: Before everyone tells me I'm crazyMy sub-woofer accepts only a vga 9 pin connector as an input. I know that VGA has nothing to do with audio but this is the connection that creative labs decided to use on this sub to work with the control unit. Now I don't want to use this control unitI want to use it with my home theater receive because this sub is actually quite good. What I'm looking for is a vga to digital audio coaxial converter. Do these animals even exist or do I need to figure out what each pin does and make my own. Any links would beumhelpful.
- you will get a greater precise answer in case you have been to easily grant the make and sort of the gadget(s). As with the rest i in my view choose an answer to, I frequently basically google the product make and sort then look at any pictures to make a seen affirmation. using in undemanding terms the innovations provided, i don't see a coaxial F-type a/v enter connector description interior the checklist. All I see are RCA, SVideo, HDMI, VGA, Mini-jack, SPDIF, USB and extremely just about each and every connector under the sunlight indexed different than the F-type cable connector you opt for. whether, maximum cutting-edge cable containers connect via the RCA outputs popping out of the field if it does not already have HDMI out of it so i'm useful the cable field has a connector set which will journey your television.
- Q: I want to have this connector to molex adapter but I don't know what is the name of this one
- 12v PCI-Express connector (6-Pin). This is generally used for high-speed video cards to provide more power than the motherboard can provide alone.
- Q: How much is the connector to the internet for Wii? and how much is brawl?please list about the maximum price and about the lowest price please ^^
- usb connector: min $49.95 max $50 lan adapter: min $40 max $60 wireless router: min $70 max $400 those are the only things i know of for internet. brawl: min $70(unless you bought online, then it would be $30) max $100.
- Q: I'm curious if the 12 connectors would work on a 120 v line. I'm talking about hte crimp ones that comes in different colors , instead of the twist ons for the 120 v. does anyone know if you could use those instead of the twist ons?
- i dont think so. if its 12v being used in place of a needed 120v line i would not suggest it becuase it probably wont be able to handle 120v. check the maximum ammount it can take. i think when it says like 12v thats the recomended. im not completley sure.
- Q: i know there alot of other usb connectors out there that arent official. for example a nintendo wifi usb connector made from datel works well for the wii and ds and works with other electonics and costs the same price.
- the price and all the same actually you can buy one at best buy, futurshop and its about 30-40$ and its called Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
- Q: I have an old record player lying around which I wanted to get connected to my system. But I've got a slight problem, I don't have the connector cable and I have no idea what it's called or the pin-out of the connector. Anyone able to help me out here? Image of the connector:
- I don't know what kind of connector that is or if it's just some kind of terminal strip cables used to be connected to I can tell you the color codes of the wires coming out of the tonearm Red right channel hot green right channel ground white left channel hot blue left channel ground I would just buy a terminal strip to mount inside the table, cut one end off a stereo interconnect cable and use that method to connect the tonearm wires to a stereo interconnect (rca cable). Run the RCA cable into the table through an opening in the case and secure the cable with a clamp to keep stress off the connections. In the interconnect cable, the center wires are hot (center pins of the RCA plugs) and the outer wires are the grounds (outer sleeve of the RCA plugs). Good luck! EDIT: Really, I don't see any reason you couldn't use that existing thing as your terminal strip. Just solder your RCA cables to the same terminals the appropriate tonearm wires are connected to. You would just need to find some way to secure your RCA cable and keep any stress off the connections.
