Packaging:

The images below show the packaging that the Icemat Siberia In:Ear Headset arrived in.  The front provides a glimpse at the headphones and microphone, as well as one spare set of "ear sleeves".  You don't get a good idea of all that is provided, but you do see the most important pieces.  The back lists a variety of information, specifications, and provides a detailed list of what is included.  You get the headphones, microphone on a separate lead, an extension cable that connects the two, a small carrying pouch, and two spare sets of ear sleeves.

Q:Anyone know why some power suppy units that use SATA as the connection type have sometimes 2-4 connectors?
so you can add more sata drives sata cdroms also require a sata power connector
Q:I found a Power Supply for my PC making sure I know everything about the specs. Thanks in advance!
+1 Eyecue is right, PCI connectors are the long slots where old video cards (newer ones are either AGB or PCI Express) and almost any other kind of cards go. The PSU doesnt enter here; you only need to know what power (watts) you need and if you want a hi
Q:I am installing my new JVC kw-r910bt aftermarket stereo, and I'm also wiring the harness, so my question is can I use 16-14 butt connectors to wire the harness?
Yes, that is a very common use for those connectors. Use the correct size for the wires you are joining. You may still wish to wrap the connectors and excess wire with electrical tape, when you are done to keep things tidy.
Q:I have just purchased one of these and noticed that the power supply has only 1 X 24 pin, 1 X 4 pin, 1 X sata, 1 x Mini plug and 4 X molexI need to power the following:My 9800 GTX+ 512MB with 2 PCIe 6 pin ports how should I go about powering this?and my 2 hard drives both use sata but i only have 1 sata power supply so how can i power these? Please nobody say a new PSU because I have only just bought a new one. And also the power supply neds to be stable and it's a 750W psu btw.ThanksKiz

Q:I destroyed the spade connector pulling off the bad heating element. Now I have to put one back on and dont know if I can just solder one on or do I need to braze it on? Since the spade connector and wire will end up being buried the the insulation behind the rear of the oven I'm thinking solder would be ok, but not sure of the type to use. Any help would be appreciated.
Mark, conventional solder will melt at the temperature of the oven element. I have the same problem with a two burner stove top. The spade connector was spot-welded on, and separated. The end of the element was not smooth enough to clamp a high temperature spade lug on it from the appliance parts store, and I don't have a spot welder. Brazing with a torch would be much better, but I don't know about the electrical conductivity of a braze weld. Around here, we use coat hanger wire, it makes a great braze, works well on radiators, but with all my electrical experience I don't know about the electrical conductivity of the repair. My vote for a solder joint would be silver solder, it melts at a higher temperature, and silver is a good conductor. Better call a local electrical repair company (electrical contractor), and ask to speak to the owner, they will always talk to you. This is not a repair job he would ever get, so he may help you out of the kindness of his heart, it happens in my town. I'm good, but he is better, try to get some help from him, and be sure to tell him the two options I gave you.
Q:I am so unsure at the moment what the proper name for these connectors is. They are the ones that often come with the computer case you buy, and connect to the power board for your case Power Switch, Power LED, Reset Switch, HDD LED, and others.

Q:i want to remove my hard disk ! is it easy to remove the power and IDE connectors ? will they get damaged easily ?
Not hard. Turn off power to PC and unplug the unit before beginning. Pull the IDE and power cable out evenly and gently. Same goes for re-seating the cables, especially the IDE, as this connector can damage the pins. On the IDE connector one side has a large portion in the middle. This will only fit into one side of the IDE port on the MB so look for this. Good luck.
Q:I bought a Data Shark kit that came with compression connectors, the compression tool and a wire stripper but I cant seem to make it work. The directions say you have to push the connector on until the dielectrode is flush with the connector end before using the compression tool. This is impossible to do I was pushing twisting rocking back and fourth still wont go all the way on. BTW I am using Quad cable. Please Help!
Are the connectors you bought made for quad shield cable? It is a bit thicker than regular RG-6 and that may be why the connectors won't go on. RG-6 QS uses special connectors. If the connectors are for RG-6 QS then maybe you need to strip back some more of the outer jacket. It is hard to say without seeing what you are doing though. It really should be quick and easy once you get the hang of it. Cable guys put connectors on in less than a minute.
Q:Data sheets do not mention any attenuation, does that mean it is ZERO / negligible ? Less than 0.005 dB ?
Ain't much (negligible), which is why it's probably never spec'd, but the question and any answer is meaningless until we've got a frequency nailed down. The cable will represent the largest portion of any attenuation, and will swamp anything the connectors would contribute. The typical coax for SMA (RG-174, RG-188, RG-196 or RG-316) runs on the order of 60~80db/100' loss. Even the semi-rigid cables have a lot of loss in the microwave freqs. Decent SMA connectors are good to around 12.4GHz with flex cable, and 18GHz with semi-rigid cable. Some very special (and a bit expensive) ones are available for use up to the 26.5~27GHz !
Q:I have an 89 camaro with an accel hei distributor. I went to unplug one of the two small wires from the ignition coil in the distributor, and the power wire broke off of the spade connector. How do I fix it? Can I put the spade connector back on the wire somehow or do I need to get a new connector? If I get a new connector how do I put that on the wire?
Get a new crimp on connector. You can get them at the auto parts store, Radio Shack, or even Wal-Mart. Be sure to buy a cheap pair of crimping pliers too.
