- There is nothing to be done by ur motherboard. It depends on the type of PSU you have as Case fans are powered by the PSU. Motherboard only allows the processor fan to run. So, get a good PSU with that much 4-Pin FAN connectors.
- Q:I have a Sony Hi8 and Mini DV recorder deck and both have a DV connector on the front.Just recently I bought a mac pro and there is only Wire Fire ports.I have and will use Final Cut Pro X for cutting/editing.Is there any cable or adapter available to connect the Sony and mac for this?Thanks for any help and suggestions ?
- dv connector is also firewire. Sony does not use the term firewire because that is a trademark term owned by Apple, and no camcorder manufactures can use that name with out paying a royalty. So Sony calls it DV instead. all you need to make this work is a cable that has the Mac 9 pin firewire connector on one end and either a 4 pin or 6 pin DV connector on the other side.
- Q:Hi ! Now my problem is that I don't know if it's safe to try the 4-Pin within the 8-Pin? (My motherboard has an 8-Pin) So I bought this Motherboard, (GA-P55-USB3) and I bought a PSU with 650W. I don't know the needs for my CPU, if it won't work because of the 4-Pin. My processor is an Intel Core i5 760 2.8Gz. Does this processor need an 8-Pin, or will it work with a 4-Pin.If this won't work, can someone of you suggest a store where I can get one? Preferably a Norwegian one. (A site that ships this kinda stuff to Norway would be great as well.)Also, I've been looking on some sites where they sell these connectors, but they don't ship off to Norway. - Most motherboards with 8-pin 12V connector will work with a 4-pin plug from power supply if the installed processor has less than 100W TDP. Core i5-760 is a 95W processor. Otherwise, you would need a 4 to 8-pin adapter for the 4-pin plug from power supply.
- Q:I just bought a 2006 FEMA trailer in decent shape. It's got what I believe is a standard round 7-slot female adapter near the two propane tanks for operating the electric brakes and trailer brake lighting. My truck, a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II, has a smaller 1 diameter male receptacle near the Reese hitch. I cannot find an adapter to connect the two. My Rover is equipped with an electric brake controller specifically for towing an RV or other trailer equipped with electric brakes. Looked at UHaul, AutoZone and several other similar retailers with no luck. Any do-it-yourself suggestions as far as plug-and-go adapters to mate the two? My local Land Rover dealer was no help whatsoever.
- I Don't think an adapter for this application exists. You will probably have to replace your receptacle with the larger unit. This is very simple if you have a 12V test light. Wiring instructions come with the new receptacle, and you can buy them at Walmart, Camping World, or any RV dealer. Just make sure the view of the receptacle on the wiring diagram is the REAR of the thing, not the front. One other option is to buy mating parts and build your OWN adapter, which is what I did to hook up my trailer to my motorhome. P.S. Walmart has a pretty fair selection of adapters and connectors FYI. Be careful though, we don't see many Land Rovers over here a Wally Mart. Maybe you should drive the Volvo when you come in.yuk, yuk. (I crack me up)

- Okay. Stop calling it an ISO connector. It is much easier to say Wiring Harness as most people in the industry call it this, and your wording is a bit confusing. You said you are missing the harness on the back of the CD player? That would mean you need to buy a harness specific to your CD player. You can only purchase these through the web or directly through the manufacturer, retail stores will not have these harnesses. Then when your ready to install it in your vehicle, you need to buy a harness specific for your car, and possibly a install kit that will properly fit it into the car. Once you purchase these, you will connect the open ended wires basically color to color and secure the wires with a crimp cap or solder and tape. Hope that helps.

- Is the motherboard connector bent? Have you tried seeing if the connector attached to the fan has something jammed in it? Have you tried getting the side that doesn't connect to connect first and then get the others to connect? If nothing else seems to work, I would return the CPU, and see if a new ones works. If it does the same thing, return the mobo and get a new one to see if it works.

- You need a wireless router. If you only have one computer with internet, the signal from your ISP goes directly from the modem to your PC or Mac. With the router, you go from the modem to the router, and then, wired or wirelessly, to several other devices all at once. You could be online on the Wii and have others shopping on the net all at once. The wii has a built in wireless function
