Q: I need 2 4 pin usb-b connector. I was wondering if it was possible to have just one 8/9 pin one.
sorry but as far as i really know they dont make 9-pin Usb's (I wish they did)
Q: I have a ton of CAT5e RJ45 connectors I would like to crimp onto CAT6 cable - TECHNICALLY they are not CAT6 but do not see much of a difference. I have done a few already with no prbs but have many more to do and don't want to have to redo them. My CAT6 is SOLID and the connectors are for solid and not stranded.
RJ45 is RJ45. The cable is different, the connectors are the same. (Some places sell CAT6 connectors for a premium. Some people also sell Roleks watches. The unwary buy both of them.)
Q: hi i have a wii and when i go to connect to the internet it says no access points were found but i can access my internet on the laptop i have i was wondering if the wii wifi connector make the signal strenght longer/bigger so i could access the signal that im not able to access now??? or does it just help u connest to ur rounter or something so once again what i need to know is i have internet on my laptop so if i am connected to my laptop internet and have the wii wifi card plugged in it will let me access the internet??? and if so i would be like 25 feet away or so will it put out a big enough signal for the wii to read it?.?
it's not a booster but it has a decent range, it's for if you don't have a router. I have a router, and still got it, it still has slight issues, but it works great.
Q: At 437 MHz, which connector shall be the most suitable for use from among the following:1. BNC Connector2. Type-C Connector3. Type-N Connector4. TNC Connector5. SMA Connector6. APC-7 Precision ConnectorPlease keep in mind that my desired frequency is 437 MHz only, while most of them work even in Microwave region. So, I need to consider only those properties of these cables which are beneficial at around 437 MHz, say upto 1-1.5 GHz.Like APC-7 shows very little reflection even at very high microwave frequencies. However Type-N also gives pretty good performance at 437 MHz. So, which one should I go for- Type N or APC-7 at 437 MHz?Taking cue from the above example, kindly tell me the best connector from the ones mentioned above with concise reasoning(no need for detailed explanation!). Please consider the maximum properties possibleALSO IF THERE IS SOME CONNECTOR WHICH PERFORMS BETTER THAN THE ONES MENTIONED ABOVE, THEN PLEASE TYPE IT IN YOUR ANSWER.I will be extremely grateful to all those who answer.:)
at those frequencies, N and TNC are the most popular however it depends on the application SMA are low cost, low power APC-7 are low power high $ F (cable TV) connectors (cheap ones) are OK till 1000 MHz, good ones till 3 GHz, much better stability than BNC it depends on the application Anita
Q: Hi, my computer recently stopped working, ie it keeps turning off when I turn it on.Just now, I noticed that if I unplug the square 2x2 pin connector from the motherboard, the fan will run, but I will see no picture on my monitor. However, as soon as I plug that 4 pin connector back in, the computer will shut itself down right after I turn it on (I'm looking at the fan)So my question is: What does that connector do? Does that mean my mobo is shutting it down because my CPU is overheating or something? But I already let my computer sit for a day or so, it simply shuts it self down immediately, without any variation in duration.Do you guys think this would be a problem with my mobo or with my power supply?Thank you
that 4 pin connector is the processor's power supply as today's processor now need more power then what it can get from the traces on the motherboard.
Q: I have a ceiling fan with a six pin molex connector. The wire colors are black, brown, gray, white, red and white. There is also a single separate wire with a cylindrical connector that is blue. Does anyone know which each wire is? I want to either buy/fabricate a light fixture to connect but need to know what the wires are.
I think that if you look closer you will find a white wire with a cylindrical connector on it. That and the blue are the wires you need to connect to a light kit. If you still have troubles try the manufactures web site for a wiring diagram. I have installed several hundred fans and light kits. Only a few of which had a factory installed multi pin plug designed for the light kit shipped with the fan.
Q: I'm building my first desktop, I've installed the cpu fan but only 3 of 4 connectors are connectingteh other one is going half way but doesn click. I took it out and tried putting it in again and nothing works, What should i do?Thanks :D
Is the motherboard connector bent? Have you tried seeing if the connector attached to the fan has something jammed in it? Have you tried getting the side that doesn't connect to connect first and then get the others to connect? If nothing else seems to work, I would return the CPU, and see if a new ones works. If it does the same thing, return the mobo and get a new one to see if it works.
Q: I was looking on the market for a 9800 GT and most of the ones I saw required 2 6 Pin PCI connectors. I saw one 9800 at a local Best Buy and the recommended power supply was only 350 watt. How do they expect you to have a power supply like that with two 6 Pin PCI connectors? I have a BFG 450 watt psu and it only came with one connector. So my question is, is there any way I can hook up another 6 Pin from my power supply to the graphics cardare there any kind of adapters out there? I would appreciate some help. I may be missing something here. Thanks
I have the XFX GeForce 9800GT and it only has one PCI-E power connector to it. Maybe it was taking about for SLI setup. List of few in the link. they all take one PCI-E power connector. Int he second link in the video you can see how the PCI-E connector looks.
Q: I got Guitar Hero World Tour, which rocks, and i have a problem with the microphone's usb connector. The connector is bent oddly because when i was getting a dvd our cabinet, the usb connector slid into the hinge of the door and when i shut it (not knowing about the usb) it got bent oddly.is there any way to fix this? does the warranty cover this or do i have to buy another microphone?
Best bet, if you can't find someone with some needlenose pliers, or can re-wire a new USB connector, you're going to have to go find yourself a new mic. if you read the warranty (typical warranty on items such as this last about a year) you can probably see ifyou can either send it back to the manufacturer, or via the store that it was purchased (typically 14-30 days). *Ahem*, just don't tell them you damaged it, may void warranty.
Q: I have one 6 pin pci-e connector on my PSU but is that enough for the 5770?
Radeon HD 5770 requires a good quality 450 watts of power supply with one PCI-E connector. so if your power supply is 450 watts and from brands like corsair, antec, silverstone, seasonic then it can run HD 5770.
