- Q: For example, the United States mainly sells 5 heads for one person, 20 for four people, 45 for eight people, 92 for tea sets, and for coffee. The picture requires delicate and elegant, concise lines.
- Take a moment and tell you a little more about it. The head refers to the piece, and how many pieces are there in the box.For example, there is a pot, a kettle and six cups in the box. It's called eight heads.Box if there is a bowl, a spoon, a soup bowl, two dishes, it is called 5.
- Q: Does ceramic coating really make that much difference when dealing with exhaust heat issues or any heat issues for that matter? Any experience or tips with ceramic coating would be helpful. Is it really worth the cost to have a ceramic coating done on exhaust parts or is it a waste of money? Thanks.
- I bought those ceramic coated header when a put that 454 in my cutlass, I had regular header at first and they were heating up the firewall bad.
- Q: Do ceramic straightening irons ruin hair?
- wooden spoons and bowls might be treated with something to keep them safe for human use, but might be dangerous for fish. If you do get them something wooden I would go with the aquarium store wood items
- Q: I‘m about to install new Ceramic rotors on my vehicle. I was wondering if the whole setup is heavier or lighter than my original stock rotors that I believe are metallic. Thanks
- Ceramic is lighter, but will not stop as well until they are well heated.
- Q: I am very worried about the tile. It seems that in every restraunt, friends house, or anyplace with ceramic tile, it has this shiny gloss to it and never stains. Is this just the tile? Because the grout in my kitchen and bathroom has stained in a couple of places. But at these other places, ie restraunt bathrooms, I have looked and there is no staining at all. Im also scared to mop the floor and end up staining the grout (I have been here a year and have never mopped). Help!! What do I do, and if i need sealer, how do I put it on??? Thanks!!!!
- soi take it that you want to seal the grout, not the ceramic tile. they're two completely different things. you can seal a grout by using any sealers that can seal porous materials. that'll keep most of the things from staining it. You will, however, have many choices of sealants. Most are topical, which is like putting a thin layer of wax on the surface to repel liquids and oils. This works ok for the most part but in time it will fade and you will have to reseal every year or two. It also will not protect your surface for a very long time. Within about ten to twenty minutes, the liquid or oil will saturate your stone. The alternative is a fluorocarbon based sealants that will chemically change your grout/stone to make the surface tension of the stone/surface less than water, repelling water more effectively. You also do not need to reseal after a year or two because it's not topical. The only sensitivity is with UV/sunlight. The downside of these sealants is that it does not repel oil very well. If it's for bathrooms, you should be ok, unless you decide to take a bottle of crisco and cook something in the bathroom. Whatever you do, make sure you wipe the surface clean after a spill, as soon as you can, and also that when you seal your surface, you give it a good 2nd or even 3rd coat to seal it well.
- Q: great feature of ceramic hair irons?
- hang them under cover and out of the sun, sunlight fades clothes
- Q: I am thinking about putting my Snow Village collection in a storage barn during the off season. It gets sometimes gets cold wear we live and I heard that if ceramic gets cold then warms up again it cracks. Does anybody know more about this. Would it be safe to put the items in a storage building.
- Only if there is a flaw in it. Over long periods of time the glaze will start to crack but that happens regardless of the temperature.
- Q: I hope to replace my floors soon. Which is easier to maintain and keep clean - ceramic tile or hardwood (or laminate wood)? A follow up to this question is which would you put in the foyer vs/kitchen and casual dining areas?
- Vacum pumps.Get one with service records you will save money in the long run, they are great cars and can be had cheap now.they are quality/well built cars and there are few of them so you will stand out,go fir it,but find info online at landrover forums,on expert techs near you
- Q: How is a ceramic tile bread warmer safely heated? Will it crack if it gets too hot? What are the best methods of heating one? Thanks!
- Pottery, or ceramics, is affected by thermal shock. Because it has already been fired to a much higher temperature than your oven goes to, you can heat it without worry of it breaking. But going from really cold to hot, or hot to cold, fast could make it crack or break from the shock. The best way is to put the tile in a cool oven and heat it up gradually to warm. When you take it out of the oven do not put it on a cold counter because that will shock it. You can then put it in your bread basket.
- Q: I‘m a senior trying to decide a career choice. I‘m currently in ceramics but this is my first year ever taking it. Would you recommend the career as a ceramics teacher?
- In my experience, there are very few jobs for full-time ceramics teachers. Your ceramics teacher might get to teach ceramics and pottery all day, but this is rare. Most art teachers are able to teach a variety of the artistic areas: drawing, painting, ceramics, textiles, etc. Also, the certification (for your teaching license) would probably not be ceramics. It would probably be Art K-12, or secondary art or something like that. You can search your state's department of education web-site, or ask your ceramics teacher what he/she is certified in. I would also suggest taking the college classes to get certified in at least one other core subject (English, social studies, math, science.) Even if you're not tremendously strong in the academics, you would probably feel comfortable teaching middle school in one or more of these subjects. Teachers - especially elective teachers - can gain a measure of job security by being able to teach an academic class when needed. Teaching is a great field, especially if you teach something that you love. I encourage you to investigate this career path. Just make sure you are employable when you leave college! .
