Q: I bought a new amika ceramic straightener and I saw online that they also have a wet to dry straighteneres. I read that it is not good to use the wet to dry ones. I would like to know which is healthy and best for your hair.Also can we use this ceramic one on wet hair. Also what is the best way to protect your hair from heat, what is the best temperature to use without hair damage. How often can we straignten the hair using this Amika one. The sales rep told me you can do it everyday but I dont beleive him.Thank you for all your answers: I had a wet straightener and I didn't use it on my wet hair, but it worked so good, but it broke. It never damaged my hair and it left it so soft and silky. The ceramic ones are okay, but the ceramic usually chips off to bare metal which is bad for your hair. I have one right now that works pretty good though. Use a heat protectant like beyond the zone turn up the heat spray. Don't ever use too much because it can cause greasiness. Low- 338 degrees is for delicate, thin, easy to style hair. Medium- 365 degrees is for average to thick or treated hair. Med/High- 392 degrees is for thick or wavy hair. High- 419-446 degrees is for hard to style hair. And honestly, no hair straightener is safe to use every day. Your using the same amount of heat you use to cook your food!I only straighten mine like once a week, but I have very damaged hair.

Q: It is a bathroom floor in good conditions but the color is wrong. Should I paint it, remove it, or put vinyl tiles over it?: I would not recommend painting it. The paint will scratch and chip off very easily. I would remove it, and if the sub-floor is in good shape, then I'd put vinyl tiles on.
