This screw rod is made from 99.5% alumina ceramic materials, the use of dry pressing process makes the rod obtain high density and good flexural strength, resulting in better acid corrosion.
On the threaded portion, we use the machining way to make more precise thread size. The thread out of Such processing will get the same accuracy and with metal thread.

- Q: I am looking to buy my boyfriend a ring and he works with his hands a lot (mechanics). I want to buy a strong and durable piece, but I also want it to be scratch resistant.I have heard Black Tungsten is very strong, but not scratch resistant.I have heard that Black Ceramic is scratch resistant, but not as strong as the Tungsten.Which should I pick? What would you recommend?
- Go for the Tungsten hon. i got one and i work with my hands all the time. it's not black but it doesn't scratch that much. You barely see it and if it does get to bad they can always polish it. Now if you are scared that any kind of ring will tarnish anyway just go to walmart where i got mine from for i believe about $38 and if it gets to bad or he loses or damages it you get another one. One more tip. get the size right. if it is a bit to big and he works with grease or his hands get slippery for any kind of reason it might slip of before he even knows. I didn't want mine to tight and i lost some weight in the meanwhile and mine slipped of a couple of times. He could always wear it on a hanger around his neck like some guys do.

- Any heat like that isn't going to be GOOD for your hair. BUT a ceramic is definitely better for your hair than one that's not.

- In general, ceramic plates are the best for all hair types, but if your hair is frizzy then get a tourmaline ceramic or if your hair is thick and tough to straighten then get a titanium ceramic flat iron. Either one, get a karmin, lol. Those have the most heat settings and features. Plus you get a heat mat and a bag aaaaand a moneyback guarantee if you order it from the right places. - Ive had a ceramic hob for years I like it a lot. It heats up quicker than other electric rings but not as quick as gas ones. Its VERY easily cleaned. The only downside is that pans have to be flat so they have good contact with the ring. It's no good having cheap pans which bevel easily. They just take longer to cook, waste energy. The hobs are toughened glass so I suppose thats what vitreous means.
