Q: Who was the pioneer of China's ceramic road in ancient times?
The maritime Silk Road (also known as "ceramic road", "spice road") is the sea channel of ancient China and foreign transportation of trade and cultural exchanges, it is mainly from the East China Sea Route (or Wyoming from Yangzhou (now Ningbo) by North Korea or Japan direct route) and South China Sea route (starting from Guangzhou to the Southeast Asian countries, or the Malacca Strait, into India ocean, the India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan route to the Persian gulf. At that time, some ships continued along the Arabia Peninsula west Africa), was formed in the Qin and Han Dynasties, developed in the Three Kingdoms period of the Sui Dynasty, flourished in the Tang and Song Dynasties, changes in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, is the most ancient sea routes known.
Q: How to clean ceramic cup of tea?
A cup of coffee, use a little vinegar or lemon slices to wipe the rim, and if the coffee pot, we can put lemon slices, wrapped in the upper part of the coffee pot, add water to the full. The coffee to cook a lemon, let it drop a drop into the bottom of the pot. When the coffee pot is yellow and drop out, this is evidence of citric acid remove coffee stains. In general, the coffee pot can be cleaned out about two times.Peel and saltIf the skin to replace the abrasive cloth, then dipped in salt, and then used to scrub tea, also can achieve good results! If there is no rind, a little vinegar will do the same.Kitchen bleachThe kitchen bleach diluted in the first big pot, then put the cup into the soak one night, the next day with water after cleaning, tea magically clean the rim!
Q: I live in Bayonne, New jersey I would like something in the area, or nearby.
If you want to go to university for it I know that you can take both glass and ceramics at VCU, Richmond VA. I think Alfred university may also have a glass program, they certainly have a very renowned ceramics program. You can just look what the art departments of universities you are interested in offer. I'd start out looking for glass programs, as there are fewer glass programs than ceramics programs. If you just want to take them for a hobby you have to look for glass studios and ceramic studios. Just google those terms with the name of your town.
Q: Ceramics are items made from fired naturally occuring mineral compounds. So, is glass a ceramic?
The term ceramic comes from the Greek word for pottery. It is used to describe a broad range of materials that include glass, enamel, concrete, cement, pottery, brick, porcelain, and chinaware. This class of materials is so broad that it is often easier to define ceramics as all solid materials except metals and their alloys that are made by the high-temperature processing of inorganic raw materials. Glass-Ceramics - An accidental overheating of a glass furnace led to the discovery of materials known as glass-ceramics. When the glass was overheated, small crystals formed in the amorphous material that prevented cracks from propagating through the glass. Because glass-ceramics are more resistant to thermal shock, cookware made of this material can be transferred directly from a hot stove burner to the refrigerator without breaking. Because they are more crystalline glass-ceramics are also slightly better at conducting heat than conventional glasses. Glass-ceramics are also stronger at high temperatures than glasses. Hope this helps!
Q: Okay I went and saw my ortho today and I told his at my first appointment I wanted the metal ones cause they were cheaper. Well now he said I‘m getting the ceramic ones on top and the metal on the bottomwill that look odd? AND I don‘t have to pay any more then I have to, which is a bonus! I get them on next week!! Off to College in the fall, which I could have paid my tuition today, but I told myself I wanted braces before college so I saved up some money, I‘ll be tight for money for the first while, but it will definitely be worth it in the end $5800!! So why would he put both on my teeth?
Not great sticks.I got stuck with some dolomites.they suck
Q: Ceramic implementation standard GB / T2580-2002
GB stands for national standardsT stands for recommendation2580 means standard code2002 indicates standard release yearGB/T2580-2002 fine ceramic cooking utensil
Q: I‘m looking in to starting my own business .Ive done ceramics but i like candles.I want to make candles cause i think it would be easy to make and cheaper. And if i had enough money i would make ceramics but its hard to find a cheap kiln for the money i have .
I was in the ceramic business for 20 years. It is definitely not a quick and easy hobby. The supplies have gone up tremendously and you have to have a kiln or access to one. The main reason I quit the business is the importsthey are cheap and now they look really good. Candles are much easier and quicker. But the market is loaded with them also. Either one you choose you need to find a unique way to do them. You will have to stand out.
Q: Is it normal to have a crack under a ceramic basin?
This is very normal, fire small crack on all right, too big, then find some cement, fill it up, will not leak. All ceramic pots heated at high temperatures will crack.
Q: I know invisalign is like twice as much as regular braces and only has a 50% succes rate so im not getting them. But what about ceramic braces ? Do they cost more and if so how much more? Are they good for people who need significant treatment (unlike invisalign)? Tell me what you know plz thanx
i got ceramic braces consult your local dentist thou cus they diff prices on diff areas. they may stain though if u dont take care of them but not as expensive as invisilign. goodluck.!
Q: Are there any con‘s to this? Because my mom‘s making me get ceramic over metal but my friend has a sister who has them and says it makes you look like a messy eater?? Like the ceramic thing gets dirty or something. Like, discolored?Does anyone have ceramic ones? DO you like them or not?
They get dirty only if you don't brush them everyday, twice a day. :). But you should do that no matter what.
