4、Operating and installing requirements
    (1) Max. permissible continuous temperature: PVC, PE insulated aerial cables:70℃; XLPE insulated aerial cables :90℃
    (2) The installation ambient temperature should not below -20℃
    (3) The bending radius of cables are recommend as follows:
A the unarmored cables is not less than 6 times the diameter of cables
B the armored cables or copper tape screened cables is not less than 12 times the diameter of cables.

Q: I live in the UK and I am going on holiday to Taiwan/Japan where the voltage is 110/100v as opposed to 220 here (i think).I was wondering if I could use a power extension cable (with multiple sockets) so that i would only need one adaptor to connect the extension to the mains and then I could just simply plug my 3 pin plugs into the cable saving me money and sockets. As it would be a lower voltage, I assume that there shouldn't be any problems with power however, if there are any electricians or anyone who has done this before I would really appreciate some guidance just to ensure that this is safe.Thanks is advance.: Using your 220 extension cords and outlet strips on a lower voltage will not damage them or your devices, which of course will be receiving whatever voltage your cord is plugged into. You will need a transformer if any of your item(s) won't work at 100 volts. By the time you have power, DVD/VCR, cable connection and a dozen other things you have a huge bundle of cables. Cut a opening behind the TV and run the wires down the inside to the floor. Make an opening to bring them out there. I did mine like that and while it took some effort the results were a great looking installation. Norm

I'd definitely check this with a knowledgeable person if I were you. It may be as simple as changing to another AC power plug and connect the earth/ground wire. Do you need an extra preamp? No. Any combo amp have two amp stages built in: pre- and power amp. Adding and extra preamp is highly unlikely make the sound better. You will probably just add hiss and noise. This is not a great amp for playing guitar, although you won't ruin anything by doing it. Just plug yoiur guitar in and see if you like the sound or not.

You connect both cables and let it go. Some older model SATA hard drives have both the SATA power connector and a 4 pin Molex (usually white 4 pin power connection from PSU/power supply. Your equipment probably only draws a few amps, well below the rating on both the power cord and the fuse. Power cord and fuse rating do not have to match.

If you intend to use 110 make sure the mixer is switchable. If it is there will be a switch for the two different voltages. Some are made to work either way but the switch need to be in the proper position to avoid damage from either to much or not enough voltage. I work for a sound company and sometimes we get sent stuff wired for over seas. Some times it has to be exchanged because it isn't switchable. You need to contact Mackie and make sure you get the right cable. I'm sure they have a toll free number and web support. You may need to exchange the mixer.
