Q:Basically, all of my wires for my wii has disappeared. I bought them again from OKorder and today my RCA connector came. (All that's left to come is the AC power pack which is due to arrive on July 26 - 30th).
Yes, you will actually get a better picture using the green, blue, and red connectors. Plug the connectors into the right slots, watching out for the red audio connector and the red video connector. The red audio connector appears to be paired with the white audio connector. Leave the yellow plug open and you will be good to go.
Q:I have an old record player lying around which I wanted to get connected to my system. But I've got a slight problem, I don't have the connector cable and I have no idea what it's called or the pin-out of the connector. Anyone able to help me out here? Image of the connector:
I don't know what kind of connector that is or if it's just some kind of terminal strip cables used to be connected to I can tell you the color codes of the wires coming out of the tonearm Red right channel hot green right channel ground white left channel hot blue left channel ground I would just buy a terminal strip to mount inside the table, cut one end off a stereo interconnect cable and use that method to connect the tonearm wires to a stereo interconnect (rca cable). Run the RCA cable into the table through an opening in the case and secure the cable with a clamp to keep stress off the connections. In the interconnect cable, the center wires are hot (center pins of the RCA plugs) and the outer wires are the grounds (outer sleeve of the RCA plugs). Good luck! EDIT: Really, I don't see any reason you couldn't use that existing thing as your terminal strip. Just solder your RCA cables to the same terminals the appropriate tonearm wires are connected to. You would just need to find some way to secure your RCA cable and keep any stress off the connections.
Q:I am trying to learn about computer hardware in one of my IT classes, but some of this crap is confusing. My professor wants examples of each of these kinds of connectors:DIN, USB, FireWire, DB, RJ, and Audio I'm not really sure how to answer the question though. I mean I know about USB and firewire but thats about it, can anyone help me out? he wants 3 examples of each. Thanks so much to anyone who can help me.
DIN - PS2, old keyboard connector DB - RS-232, printer (parallel), game connector RJ - phone jack (handset, line, 6 pin), Ethernet Audio? Almost anything. Canon, PL, mini-PL, RCA, banana plug, pin plug, DIN, RJ-12 and RJ-14 are used for audio
Q:CAN ANYBODY PLEASE GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF A U.H.F. CONNECTOR????Also kindly advise me on how can I reduce impedance losses while connecting a coaxial cable between a source and a load through connectors. Like a 50 MHz source and 50 MHz load impedance matching might suffer losses due to dielectrics(male-female air gap), resistance, etc.PLEASE PLEASE DO ANSWER.I URGENTLY NEED THE ANSWER.LOTS OF THANX IN ADVANCE
Use N-type connectors.
Q:i just bought new connectors and the tools to remove them but i don't no how to do it plz plz plz help
Each pin/socket has a retention spring, just use a needle or safety pin to bend it inward to release it enough to pull it out the rear of the connector. Some have one and some have two it depends on the brand, and can be painful patience is required for this. Best do one at a time to avoid confusion and pinout mixup. cheers
Q:I understand that a 25-pair telephone cable is often used in the telephone industry. But why do some 25-pair telephone cables have Telco connectors on them? What do these connectors connect to
the connector is commonly called an amp connector because they are made by Amphenol. The 25 pair cable contains 6 lines. Tip/Ring, A lead control, and lamp/lamp ground. 66 blocks commonly have amp connectors on both sides to make connections. Many 66 blocks are amp'ed on one side, these are cabled to the KSU or PBX. Stations connect to these blocks thru bridge clips.
Q:I recently took the Hitachi hard drive out of my Pavilion dv9000 that I bought in 2007, and it has the strangest connectors I've ever seen. I can't tell if i'ts IDE or SATA; it doesn't use pins, per se, but blades.
It's a SATA connector for HP laptops. Just pull it off and the drive should fit a 2.5 SATA enclosure.
Q:Anyone know what a COMB connector on a motherboard is used for? I am thinking it can be used for an external USB bracket, but can it be used to add firewire as well, via a bracket or something?
You know it sometimes helps if you put down the model number of the Gigabyte board as well!?
Q:I have a Sony KV-24FS100 and the place where you plug the antennae RF in is broken. My tuner is 100% good and I am happy with my TVs performance, so I don't want to replace the tuner or the TV. Everything else is in perfect condition except the place where you plug the RF in. Is there any way I can fix it? The place where there were threads is gone, all that's left is a small circular tube, the size of the connector thing that's a little behind where the thing used to be. If you can, please, at least tell what its called. Your help, would be very very appreciated. Thank You.
It's called a Type F connector. The one on the TV would be a panel mount female Type F connector. The parts are inexpensive. Replacing it will take a bit of soldering. If you don't have any experience with that, you should probably take it to a shop.
Q:9 pin male connector,14 pin female,25 pin male, edge or parrellelconnector
Comm ports are the 9-pin and 25-pin male connector and Parallel Connector is a 25-pin female on the back of the machine.
