Another thing to be aware of is the connecions for drives. For the most part you will see 1.5 SATA, 3.6 SATA, and IDE data connections, and SATA and P4 power connections. You can get adaptors that will go from IDE/3.5 Sata and P4 to 1.5 SATA connections though. BUt yeah, they aren't proprietary. It just depends on the motherboard and drives you need to connect

Q: Husband replaced heater core, been frustrating. He's got dash half way on but has a connector that he cant find what it plugs into. (prob something he forgot behind whats already together) PLEASE help. It's near the wires and connectors for the heating/cooling dials, lighter etc. Its white (not good at guessing measurements) about 1 x 1.5 in. rectangle- almost square.
