- How about just download the preferred driver for it on ASUS's site? That would be more preferred way to have the proper driver for it also you might need to see if the front panel are connected on the board. Because it might not yet been connected.
- Q: hello, need to find out what codes my ecu is putting out. went to autozone and they couldnt read cuz of year but gave me metal key with two prongs on it. i know it is one of the connectors around the fuse box under my drivers side dash. could someone tell me with one and what two holes the key goes into? they also said to turn the key on and off a few times and count the check engine light blips for codes is this right? thanks for help! - There are two ways to test for any CEL codes that your engine might be putting out. You can stop at any Radio Shack and pick up a .5 volt buzzer and two gator clips. Connect the gator clips to the buzzer, then to the 1 (I believe) and the number 16 (I believe) pins on the Data Connector that should be near the hood release. The pins are on the top left and bottom right, or the top right and bottom left. Then with the key, do this sequence ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON. The CEL will begin to blink and the buzzer will begin to sound. You can either count the buzzes, or count the CEL blinks, this will give the code you can reference to. Below is the list for the 4G37 Trouble Codes/CEL codes.

- You have a bad battery. It can show full charge and still have no capacity to produce cranking amps. The charger unless it is one of those that puts out 50 amps, will not help that much. If a car battery starts it, that is your clue. The only other thing it could possibly be is the starter motor itself is about dead and it takes too many amps to do its job, but I think if you put a new battery on it you will solve your problem.

- Q: Before everyone tells me I'm crazyMy sub-woofer accepts only a vga 9 pin connector as an input. I know that VGA has nothing to do with audio but this is the connection that creative labs decided to use on this sub to work with the control unit. Now I don't want to use this control unitI want to use it with my home theater receive because this sub is actually quite good. What I'm looking for is a vga to digital audio coaxial converter. Do these animals even exist or do I need to figure out what each pin does and make my own. Any links would beumhelpful.
- The connector is called a Mini-D connector and is used for lots of applications, not just VGA. The beauty of it is that it can only connect 1 way. You cannot use your home theater receiver with the Creative unit. The sub includes a power amplifier and crossover circuits to take the line-level signals from the control unit, fed from 3.5mm headphone jacks on a sound card and it then powers the sub and the external speakers. This is a closed system without the ability to swap parts out or use it with other gear. You CAN find coaxial-digital to left/right analog converters on Amazon for about $50. Then if you can figure out which pins - you can hook into the 9 pin connector on the sub and it MIGHT work. (Cut the end off a pair of RCA cables and strip back the shield and white insulation to expose the center wire. This is what you insert into the D connector. The trick - finding out which pin. The other trick - you have bypassed the volume control.) In general - computer speakers and home theater gear do not mix. They have different inputs, make different assumptions about the signals and fill different size requirements. (Yes - I have seen the picture of the happy, smiling guys around a HDTV with the computer speakers. Creative/Logitech love you to do this - because you burn the speakers out very quickly trying to be room-fillers.)

- Is the motherboard connector bent? Have you tried seeing if the connector attached to the fan has something jammed in it? Have you tried getting the side that doesn't connect to connect first and then get the others to connect? If nothing else seems to work, I would return the CPU, and see if a new ones works. If it does the same thing, return the mobo and get a new one to see if it works.
