- Q: I have standard internal telephone cable in my house, but the RJ11 connector at one end has broken. I have another RJ11 connector but not sure how to connect it up correctly to the lead. Anyone know of any websites with a diagram? Thanks in advance.
- only the middle two are used for red green any order
- Q: i have a fairly expensive 4-pin hirose connector microphone that is used on an audio technica 300 series (receiver: ATW-R03, transmitter: ATW-T27) but have a problems with random bursts of loud static or pops. i would like to get a wireless system to replace the current one and keep my end microphone.this is for use in a church, preferably xlr out.range doesnt matter much as it can up on stage if need be.budget is as cheap as possible without issues, but certainly under $300
- Like I said in my other answer you probably will not be able to find another transmitter that fits that mic - the best you can do is call Audio Technica and have them figure it out. Since that series of wireless is discontinued, don't be suprised if they tell you to buy a complete new system (like I did). It may also be possible to order a new mic for AT - my best guess is that your problem is being caused by a broken wire inside the mic connector itself. A person who is REALLY good at soldering (like me) may be able to repair it but the usual solution is to replace the microphone and connector assembly.
- Q: Can me and my sister play for example Mario Kart DS using the same Usb connector or do we need to take turns. Can more than one people use the usb connector at once.???Or is the Usb connector meant for only one ds/lite.Please help.!!!
- yes, both of u will be able to use it^^
- Q: I have a ton of CAT5e RJ45 connectors I would like to crimp onto CAT6 cable - TECHNICALLY they are not CAT6 but do not see much of a difference. I have done a few already with no prbs but have many more to do and don't want to have to redo them. My CAT6 is SOLID and the connectors are for solid and not stranded.
- The connectors will not be rated for higher speeds but to be honest the difference is unlikely to be significant over such a short distance. The biggest problem you are likely to face is mechanical when fitting the connectors in the first place - category 6 cable is quite a bit thicker than category 5e.
- Q: I have a large electric grill, the plates that cook food don't heat up properly, someone seems to have pulled on the cord causing one of the connectors that connects to the plate thermostat to come loose. It appears to have been forcefully melded with the thermostat, which I can't duplicate.
- It looks, from your photos, like the spade connector has slipped off. It's made to slide on with a little bit of force. It might need to be tightened with a pair of pliers before it will slide back on and stay. I wouldn't solder it on, in case you have to replace the thermostat at a later date. If you have to replace the connector, you'll need a high-heat spade connector, of the same size, and a crimper to attach it to the wire.
- Q: I need to convert my satellite input that is a coaxial cable to an RCA cable without using a VCR or DVD player or any other component. I need more than just a connector that turns it into one male RCA. I need the coaxial connection to convert to both video and audio. Any suggestions on how to do this?
- Sorry, there is no easy way to do this. Yes you can get an RF Adaptor (connector) that will allow you to physically connect the two, but it won't work. The problem is that the video and audio signal from your satellite (your coax) is modulated onto a channel frequency. This channel frequency needs to be removed, which is what you need an RF converter for. Simplest and cheapest way is to use an inexpensive VCR or DVD, which uses it's tuner to do this. You don't say why this is not an option. Is there an un-used RF input on your system that can be used?
- Q: Before everyone tells me I'm crazyMy sub-woofer accepts only a vga 9 pin connector as an input. I know that VGA has nothing to do with audio but this is the connection that creative labs decided to use on this sub to work with the control unit. Now I don't want to use this control unitI want to use it with my home theater receive because this sub is actually quite good. What I'm looking for is a vga to digital audio coaxial converter. Do these animals even exist or do I need to figure out what each pin does and make my own. Any links would beumhelpful.
- you will get a greater precise answer in case you have been to easily grant the make and sort of the gadget(s). As with the rest i in my view choose an answer to, I frequently basically google the product make and sort then look at any pictures to make a seen affirmation. using in undemanding terms the innovations provided, i don't see a coaxial F-type a/v enter connector description interior the checklist. All I see are RCA, SVideo, HDMI, VGA, Mini-jack, SPDIF, USB and extremely just about each and every connector under the sunlight indexed different than the F-type cable connector you opt for. whether, maximum cutting-edge cable containers connect via the RCA outputs popping out of the field if it does not already have HDMI out of it so i'm useful the cable field has a connector set which will journey your television.
- Q: Hi, my computer recently stopped working, ie it keeps turning off when I turn it on.Just now, I noticed that if I unplug the square 2x2 pin connector from the motherboard, the fan will run, but I will see no picture on my monitor. However, as soon as I plug that 4 pin connector back in, the computer will shut itself down right after I turn it on (I'm looking at the fan)So my question is: What does that connector do? Does that mean my mobo is shutting it down because my CPU is overheating or something? But I already let my computer sit for a day or so, it simply shuts it self down immediately, without any variation in duration.Do you guys think this would be a problem with my mobo or with my power supply?Thank you
- Yes, the 2x2 connector is power for the CPU itself My first guess would be the power supply- those are usually the cheapest components in computers, and go bad fairly frequently. The easiest way to check is simply connecting a different power supply, if you've got one available. No need to mount it, just connect the main power block and the 2x2 one Oh, your video card doesn't require a dedicated power connector does it? Almost all recent mid-range or better video cards do. Make sure that one is secure If overheating was the culprit, I'd expect you'd at least be able to get into the BIOS setup screen after letting the machine sit for a day. If the CPU fan is spinning at all, I doubt that's it.
- Q: I noticed that the plastic piece that holds the flat ribbon cable in place is broken. I have been having problems with some of the letters on the keyboard not working so I took the computer apart and found that the connector was missing a piece and was wondering if this could be the problem and just how difficult this would be to replace?
- I'm guessing this is a laptop you are talking about. If the connector is on the ribbon cable it self then it wouldn't be to hard, just replace the keyboard, but if the connector is on the mother board, then it could be a hassle. Finding the part would be hard without buying a new motherboard.
