- Q: Hi, I bought a geforce gtx 660 ti and with it came 2 X 6 pin PCI express power cables. Problem is I only have 2 connectors in my computer, so one cable is useless. Will 2 Athena Power Model CABLE-YPHD 8Molex Y Splitted Power Cables allow me to use both the PCI cables? Thanks.
- I okorder and have good reviews. Make sure the cables in the picture match the ones you need to connect. My friend bought splitters and they work fine. They will work for you as long as you are not using the power supply that came with your computer. That may be the reason it only has two, because it isn't giving out the watts required to power a gtx 660. It needs a max of ~350watts. Combine that with the rest of your PC and you'll need a 600W power supply.
- Q: What are the reasons for the explosion of the cable? In the cable online
- Fiber engineering to see what you are doing, first of all is the cable selection model need to use the number of cable cable. There is a light converter, ODF frame. Open signal will use passive splitter, pigtail, fiber jumpers, optical modules. Brand you have a lot, and you want to domestic or foreign.
- Q: ok so i'm building a high gaming computer. my question is i'm a getting a Full moduler power supply my question is do i have to buy the cables for power does the componets i buy come with them??? oh and by the way just curious what happens if you touch thermal paste with your finger???
- PSU wattage rather capacity no longer something. even with a 1500W psu, you nevertheless might have difficulty powering a 100w equipment if all that power is placed on the three.3 and 5v rails. Like ninety 5% of computer factors use the 12v rail for power. So any high quality PSU could have maximum the flexibility going to the 12v rails. (like ninety%+ of the entire wattage could be on the 12v rail). that one and all which actually concerns, is the entire mixed 12v rail amperage. Now often the better wattage the PSU, the better amperage the 12v rail is going to be by capacity of default, even on crap psu. while you're making plans on getting like a 3930K and overclocking it to the max, and getting like 2 gtx670s and overclocking them to the max, then you need to to look right into a 1200W psu, or you dont even want close that quantity of wattage. for many any computer setup, 750-850W is genuinely adequate for multi snap shots enjoying cards in case you have a high quality psu. identity recommend seasonic or the corsair HX/AX sequence psu. And so which you already know, working CFX/SLI doesnt even come close to to doubling the overall performance. Now making use of a z77 board, with an ivy bridge cpu, and pci-3.0 snap shots card, there is adequate bandwidth to double fps working multi enjoying cards. yet thats additionally assuming the pastime has finished sli/cf help. EDIT: nicely your first mistake is procuring an fx8150 (much less gaming overall performance then an i3-2120), and your 2nd is even thinking a 7970.... a gtx670 is extra efficient and $2 hundred extra much less high priced... and makes use of much less power... and runs cooler... and has a plenty bigger overhead for overclocking, so hmm...
- Q: So I've had my laptop for about a year and a half now and I've gone through 4 power cables, 3 non-factory. What happens with each one is, I plug it in, the blue light surrounding the hole turns on, the end of the power cable that plugs into my laptop gets super hot and either melts the power cable, or when I plug the cable in, the light won't come on unless I have it in just right. This usually starts to happen between one and three months after I get a new cable. It's starting to go through them faster now, any ideas?
- you have a power short in the computer that's why it is getting to hot and melting the cables, get it seen to immediately
- Q: I had gave my amp a 16 volt input, then there was a spark which came from fuses that got burnt. I then replaced the fuses, rewired it nd gave it a 12 volt input it came on and went on protection. So i left it aside and after a few days i tryd connecting it again but this time it came on and it was burning the power cables no matter what guage wire i used. Any idea why its doing that?
- It's a 12 volt DC car-type amp ? Sounds like it's got a short inside. But, unhook all the other wires, all the speaker leads imputs, except for the power the ground. Have a fuse in one of those two leads, turn the amp OFF, hook up it. If the fuse pops right away, then odds are it is now a piece-'o-junk. If it sits okay, turn it on, with no volume. Again, if the fuse goes, trash it. If it holds okay, hook up ONE of the speakers give it a little volume. Even without an imput, you should be able to hear a bit of static, which means it's working okay. Turn it off try another speaker....etc etc
- Q: What is the difference between wires and cables? Please provide a brief introduction
- Customers want what you should have, others do not you should have. Shop to people-oriented.
- Q: cable or do they need certain ones, I ask because this PSU: has no power cable with it so will i have to get a certain power cable for that wattage or are they all the same???please answer, 10 points for first answer
- all psu's ( even the ebuyer one) will use the same 3 pin cable.....just like the one most monitors use :) ...but uf u dont have any of these 3 pin power cables ur gnna have to buy one here is an image of one
- Q: It's a 250GB Western Digital Caviar drive, sold with an iMac back in early 2007... I want to see if I can recover some files from it, but I have no idea where to start.
- Get an external adapter kit. Tiger direct sells them.
- Q: Is the ribbon cable the data cable and the wires the power cables?
- You are correct. Power cables will always have 4 or more separated wires going into a plug. Data cables have all of their internal wires inside a single sheath.
- Q: when the power cable comes out, the laptop turns off simple as that! it wont work unless the power cable is plugged in and turned on, and its not that the battery is flat because i had it charging all day.so does this mean the battery is broken?if so what do i need to do?? any help will be greatly appreciated!!
- i bought a used dell laptop that came with a working battery. It would charge 100% and run for an hour or 2 on battery power. one day it just stopped working on battery power. The battery button showed it to be 100% charged. Bought a used battery off OKorder and it solved the problem- The first battery was bad tho the indicator lights said it was good. Also, if some of the screws above the battery compartmentg are loose or missing this could cause a loss of contact. Had that happen once and just put in the missing screw and all was fine. Re: OKorder- dont buy a battery just because someone says it charges 100%. I have and sometimes they charge 100% and last 5 minutes. Ask them to guarantee it will last at least 2 hours or dont buy it!!
