Q: It is going to be lounging chair, for T.V. or something, though I am going to glue pieces of styrofoam together, then carve it out...with my *** grove, and maybe a cup holder or something...Though I have questions....1. I know styrofoam is not always going to be the strongest thing, so what should I use to re-enforce the strenght of this chair? Wood, or some sort of plaster?(Did I mention that I wanted to cover it with some sort of hardening agent?)2. What types of insulation should I use? (I was thinking of something that is comfy, though does not have much resestance...like it would embrace the but, not push it back. Possibly foam with an over coating of fluff...or something.)3. Outer fabric, What feels comfortable? Fake leather? or something?...4. What is a cool accesory to a chair(i.e. cup holder, Compass)You don't have to answer all the questions, you can answer one....Though I want some ideas or something...
The fact that most people call it a chair! but if you want we can open a new web site and send messages to people all over the world not to call it a chair anymore. we could even ask the goverment to step in saying that the word chair is very rude and it would be politcally incorrect to use that word ever again. But i can guarentee that someone somewhere would still call it a chair. Thats what makes it a chair!!!
Q: I have a microfiber chair that is looking a little dingy, what is the best way to clean it? Is there a good product? Any advice??
Mix about 1 tablespoon of laundry soap and warm water in a bucket, dip a white cloth in the bucket, make sure to wring out the cloth as best as possible, wipe chair let dry and vacuum. I have microfiber pillows and have cleaned them using the same method. Great for the car interior too! Good Luck!
Q: I have heavy aluminium chairs around a table on my outdoor patio, see http://www.norths .za/cat6.php?catID=7 My patio floor comprises unglazed tile, and the chairs are hard to pull out to sit on and once seated, to slide toward the table. The ends of the legs are round +- 18mm (3/4 inches). I have tried felt pads - no good - they wear away in days. I have tried hard plastic caps - a little better - but still difficult to move. What can I do to allow the chairs to slide easily.
Look for the sliders at WalMart or equivalent. They have some that glue on, screw on, etc. They are excellent. I put them on my heavy furniture and I can move it easily to clean-glue on ones.
Q: If i was sitting in a chair on wheels and someone else was tied to a tree and we both pulled with enough force to move at 5m/s would I roll in my chair or would I stay stationary because we are using the same amount of force? thanks
No. your your chair would ROLL Because you applied a force on the rope backward pushing chair with the same amount of force in forward direction and there is no other force except friction to stop the chair which is not enough hence you would go forward. force applied on the rope only cancels out. you can assume you(on a wheel chair) pulls a rope fixed to tree at other end. This would also give same result. Hope this would help you.!!!!!!
Q: It kills me that it seems like my son can only find comfort in his vibrating chair. He loves the bouncing motion, and that is often the only way I can get him to settle down. He is now 6 weeks old, we started putting him in this chair at about one week of age when dealing with his colic at night. It really worked to help settle him down. I am happy that his colic seems to be getting better by the day, but now I can't seem to get him out of the chair. I would love to have a baby that found comfort in my arms, and not a chair. I am always close by and sing and talk to him while he is in the chair, rub his belly, play with him and such. He also always has his bottles in my arms. But other than that, his tummy time, and a few hours that he sleeps in his crib, he is in the chair. Is this normal, does any one else have this situation?
I have a 5 week old little girl that is the same way! She loves her bouncey seat! The only problem I have with it is the price of batteries! My advise is to enjoy it while it last! As long as he is happy, you should be too!
Q: how do i hook up a game chair to my tv to play on my ps2 phat. it has 4 outputs on the side of the chair. a row of 2 yellow sockets and a row of 2 white sockets. so how do i do this. plz help
What does the manual for the chair say? It sounds as though the chair acts as a through-put, meaning you'd connect the PS2 to the chair, then connect the chair to your TV. Yellow is normally for composite video, whereas white is for audio. If it's the only audio port, then its mono-audio. If there's a red and a white port, then they're for stereo (the white port would be for the left speaker, red for the right speaker.) You only really need to connect an audio cable to the chair's input. I don't think you need to worry about the outputs at all (again, read the manual.) Go to Radio Shack and get a RCA Y-cable so you can take the PS2's white cable and split it so one end goes to your TV and the other goes to your chair. You may need to get an extension cable so it'll reach. Just get any RCA cable - it doesn't have to be white, that's just to help you match the connections between your devices.
Q: So i just got my room set up with all of the old stuff that nobody wanted in my house that was still good and i needed for doing stuff like being a teen (a desk, speakers, a lava lamp ofcourse). But the one thing that i need is a chair. preferably a small comfortable one around 20-25 bucks
Here okorder / This was the only items I could find if you could raise you budget buy 5 dollars there are a lot more options at walmart and target these 2 stores are within your budget.
Q: Has anyone ever sat in a Zuo Pluto chair? How comfortable are they? They look so precarious and like your back would get very tired. But they look hella cool too. I can't decide if I should get one
While I agree that comfortable is subjective, I certainly understand the benefit of asking for the opinions of others. That said, here is my 2 cents worth: This chair is stylish and comfortable. It is designed to be comfortable and supportive of your back. My opinion is favorable so I would therefore recommend the chair to you.
Q: i have 5 captin chairs like theses heard they have some value on them so some1 plz help me out on any info u got
what do you want to know. I'm in Charlotte and I recently relocated so I know you probably have many questions. If you want email me and I'll answer whatever I can for you
Q: I'm a web consultant, and I spend many hours at my computer. At worst, I can spend 18 hours or more if I'm finishing up a large project. This is not part time work for me, it's all I do.Currently I have some chair from Staples that was like $125 and my back is killing me. After less than a year the cushion provides no support whatsoever... I just sink down to the plastic immediately.I'll consider spending whatever to get the right chair, I consider it a semi long term investment. I don't want to spend more than I have to though, so keep that in mind.
Sometimes it is best to get the $50 chair with the thickest cushion. Then give that to a friend if it doesn't work out. Then move up the ladder. The $800 chairs can be wonderful but if it doesn't exactly fit your body, you wasted your money. You can never sit in the chair long-enuf in the store to know if it will work.
