The power cable as one of our main products, the specification and appliance of the power cable are listing as follows:
1.The standards
The power cable is mainly complying with IEC 60502 standard, also can be produced according to OEM requirements and other standards, such as BS, DIN, ASTM, VDE, NFC standards, and so on.
2.the construction of the power cable for different voltage grade
2.1 low voltage cable power cable
Low voltage (0.6/1 kv)
single core or multi-core
copper or aluminium conductor
pvc inusulation
steel tape armored or galvanized steel wire armored or unarmored
pvc outer sheath
power cable.
2.2 medium voltage cabel power cable
Voltage grade is up to 35kv,
cross-section area can be up to 1000 sqmm (copper or aluminiun conductor).
Conductor long-time operating temperature is 90 degrees.
In short circuit, conductor highest temperature should be not more than 250 degrees.
1kv-35 kv
multi-cores
copper or aluminium conductor
xlpe insulation
copper tape or copper wire screen
galvanized steel wire armored
pvc or pe sheath
power cable
2.3 high voltage cable power cable
High voltage (35kv~220kv)
copper or aluminium conductor
xlpe insulation
metal sheath (lead or corrugated aluminium)
hdpe or pvc outer sheath power cable.
Laying conditions: for lyaing under ground with large different altitude, be able to bear external machanical force and moderate pulling force.
3. the power cable's characteristic:
3.1 long time operating temperature for cable conductor is 90 degrees.
3.2 the highest temperature of the conductor in short circuit (no longer than 5 seconds) in not more than 250 degrees,
if a joint is in the cable, the temperature of the tinning welding joint is not more than 120 degrees, compressing joint not more than 150 degrees and electro-welding joint not more than 250 degrees.
3.3 no drop in limited provided there is full mechanical tention when cable is laid. It si forbidden to lay cable in iron-pipe or to fix cable by circling around the cable with iron materials.
3.4 being laid, the minimum temperature of the cable shall not be lower than zero degree. In the case of lower temperature, heating measures shall be taken.
- Q: i soldered in one of those ribbon cables on to my hp's laptop power button cause the old ribbon was failing. anyways i am having some issues with this new cable1 the laptop will power on by itself if i insert the ribbon into the motherboard connector2 the only way to power off the laptop is to remove the cable from the mother board connector and that means opening up the whole laptop3 like i said it will power on by itself so that means that i cant turn it on/off with the power buttonevery thing is soldered correctly i dont understand also i am not sure but does the cable have to be like the old one cause the new one i soldered in looks the same? could it be that it needs that one particular cable replaced again? please help me i am sad
- Time to hang up our computer repair skills and take it to a shop...
- Q: I need a longer power cable for my xbox 360 dvd drive, can anyone tell me where I can find out on OKorder?Or what its called? I type in dvd drive power cables on OKorder, but only the short stock ones show up I need one with about 10 inches or so.Thanks! Can these be found in radioshack?
- try looking at a game store like Game Stop or check with the manufacturer
- Q: I bought a Zmodo CCTV system. The system came with 60' of cable,so I purchased some 165' cables.I would like to have more, but I can't find anything longer than 165' anywhere. Is that the longest size that they manke?Thank you
- you can buy power cables for a cctv system from global sparenparts private limited.
- Q: Basically bought a new graphics card (480 gtx) and im going to install into my computer but i wish to also install a phyx card as well. This seems simple enought but i only have 2 6pin power cables in my pc atm and im am unsure how to install another 2 6pins. Current PSU is a antec 1000w
- The above answer is sweet, with the single exception: do now no longer purchase a in many circumstances used psu. as nicely to the OCZ he recommends, examine out Antec and probably Hyper. Antec grant a three twelve months assure on their psu's, and the present day ones are somewhat quiet. JBV^_^
- Q: Right now, the cables behind my audio receiver are tangled beyond recognition. I need to organize them...How should I bundle my speaker wire to minimize RF and EM interference? I've heard that a quot;8-shapedbundle is good.Is there any truth to this claim? If so, explain. Thanks in advance!
- any cable with an electrical current passing through will create an electromagnetic field. however when you bundle them in a single loop, because the currents are going in the same direction they will resemble a very big cable with a lot of current, so the magnetic field will be much larger (this is in part how an electric motor works). the best way to avoid this would be to remove excess cable so there would be no need to have loops. Really i'm not convinced about the benefits of having the cable in a figure 8 pattern, because it's just like having two loops really. i would try to avoid loops, or at least keep them away from the actual hifi and the speakers. generally components in your hifi and speakers will be magnetically shielded, to prevent any interference like that, however if you hear a buzzing noise when your mobile phone is near, than it's possible they're not shielded, as your mobile phone is a source of electromagnetic interference. if you're worried about electromagnetic interference it is also worth noting that wifi routers, mobile and cordless phones and microwaves are all sources of electromagnetic radiation. hope that all helps
- Q: So I've had my laptop for about a year and a half now and I've gone through 4 power cables, 3 non-factory. What happens with each one is, I plug it in, the blue light surrounding the hole turns on, the end of the power cable that plugs into my laptop gets super hot and either melts the power cable, or when I plug the cable in, the light won't come on unless I have it in just right. This usually starts to happen between one and three months after I get a new cable. It's starting to go through them faster now, any ideas?
- Get it repaired. There might be a short circuit inside the socket. It will ruin your computer if you dont act now. You will lose your laptop or spend more if the laptop itsel gets damaged.
- Q: I have my old 350 power supply cable but i got a new 520 one. do i have to use the defuly 520 power suppl cable? i use my old cabbke
- No, as long as it can supply the proper voltage and amperage.
- Q: Ok so my friend gave me a 40LCD samsung tv, but he had lost the power cable some how. I have actually found a cable to buy on the internet but i have some concerns. 1 i'm not entirely sure its the right cable for my tv, the socket looks like it would fit but the cable claims to work for all samsung song and lg tvs, when i know that my parents song lcd tv has a more complicated power cable. So i'm worried that using this cable could like wreck the tv or something. the second thing is that i herd you can call samsung and they'll send you a cable for free

- Q: Hi! I want to buy I new Hard Drive but I've got a problem. I have the IDE conector but I don't have the Power Cable. It is connected to my Video Card. Can I add a new one? Can I use a power cable from a optical drive(CD/DVD)? Thanks!
- All you need to do is pop down to your local computer store and get a power splitter, just make sure you get the right type, IDE and SATA drives have a different kind of power connector, so just make 100% sure before you buy!
- Q: So I've been working on my computer aand looking to invest in a primary Hard Disk (instead of X2 250GB hard drives). I noticed the drive i have has Fantasy power outlets and newer models have SATA Power so I'm kind of confused on the Hard Drive i should get. I'm looking at hard drives 500GB-1TB
- Fantasy power outlets don't sound standard. SATA is consistent on both PCs and Macintosh computers.
