FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q: are the same as what i call usb that u plug into a computer and can store/transfer files in and come in different storage capacity? thanks!
- A card reader is a device that you can plug memory cards into. Let's say you had a Compact Flash memory card. Your computer did not have a Compact Flash card slot. How do you get the pictures off? You use a multi card reader. Typically, to be compatible with as many computers as possible, multi-card readers come with a USB connection. So, a USB memory card reader is a device that lets you get the information off your memory cards, and it connects to your computer by a USB port. end of line
- Q: I am thinking about buying a magnetic card reader and i was wondering if it can read School id's and then program it to bring up a certain website? info will help please
- I've seen a regular card swipe reader that plugs into a USB port. You would have to open up Notepad or Word and then swipe the card, and you'll see the info on there. Only things I've swiped are Driver's License and a credit card, most of the info is easily seen but some is gibberish on the screen.
- Q: i bought an SD card reader to put my 2gb camera memory card in, i plug it into the computer and it makes the sound like it has found the software, when i go into the cameras and faxers and click on the polaroid camera to download the pictures off it, it says the device is not plugged in correct. i have tried pluggin it in every plug it fits, and it still pops up the same thing sayin to make sure it is plugged in. anyone know how to get it to work??
- was there any software that came with the computer for that port like drivers? If there is then try installing that and try again. Or, if there is a window that pops up when you put the sd card in that has the option, Open folder to view files, click on that and see if it lets you access it.
- Q: I have Acer Aspire 5580 laptop, and I have no clue to use the 5 in 1 card reader. Plz help me.
- you should simply have to insert the card into the proper slot and open up my computer and the card reader should appear as a e: or f: drive or sometimes it appears as a total of 5 drives ranging anywhere from d through l: from ther just double-click the right one and it should open the card
- Q: I have a digital camera and a card reader that plugs into my usb, but when I do plug it in nothing shows up on my computer. I have gone My Computer file and nothing is there. Where would it be on my computer? Can you help me?
- I suggest checking if it works on another computer. If it does, then there's probably a problem with your computer. If it doesn't, then the card reader's probably faulty.
- Q: i just bought a card reader: Targus (high speed MS/MS Pro/ MS Duo card reader/writer ) but my memory card refuses to slid in, i don't know if i am to force it in (which they stated explicity on the packet not to) or if something is not right. My card is : Sansdisk 1.0GB (9 slots). is there a specific type of card reader for this or .?
- fhotoace is correct. Your Targus is designed to read only MemoryStick/MemoryStick Pro/MemoryStick Duo cards that are used exclusively by Sony cameras. This is one of the reasons I advise against Sony and their proprietory memory cards. Most likely, you have a camera that uses SD cards (the most common type) and should seek out another memory card reader. My recommendation? Get a memory card reader that accepts multiple types of cards. That way, it will work with any card you have. This allows you to download from your current and any future camera. You can also download from memory cards from your friends' cameras as well!
- Q: I purchased a targus TRG-SD20 digital card reader/writer. I installed the drivers. The problem is my laptop doesn't detect the card reader. I have win XP on my laptop, and the drivers are for win98. I know this shouldn't matter, but why won't my laptop detect this.
- Check the manufacturers website, and see if it is compatible with XP. Many devices were orphaned by windows, and they did not provide any drivers for the reader.
- Q: i got a few readings from different tarot readers and they always end up with the same outcome or similar but in the end difficult to translate it into my situation, not knowing me personally n never seen the experts either.so i d like some help to understand more pleasethank you
- Are you talking about a reading where you are having a conversation with the reader (either face-to-face or over the phone) or a reading over the internet where the reader doesn't have a chance to ask any questions or get clarification when the cards are offering mixed signals. For example, if you are a student, some cards will represent parents or teachers whereas if you are an adult the same card would probably be a boss or co-worker. The reader's interpretation of the cards message would be somewhat different since the relationship is different. You kind of have to go with what you feel and without being able to ask questions it's easy to get off-track. The more opportunity for exchange of information, the more clear the reading will be. Does that help you understand? I was doing a reading in Yahoo Answers and I got a Page. I was trying to use the Page one way, and it wasn't making sense. Then I suggested it might be a young person and suddenly she said, Yes, it's my son and then the whole reading was clear. But without that one piece of information, none of it fell together. That's why, if you have a specific question or are interested in a particular area of your life, it's best to communicate that as clearly as possible to the person doing your reading.
- Q: Why does the USB charger charge?
- Can only explain the problem of the charger connector.
- Q: I have a Nikon Coolpix camera to which I frequently and unfortunately lose the cord that connects it to the computer to upload my pictures. Is an SD memory card reader what would be best to have around in case I lose the cord? If so, how does the card reader work?
- The card reader is better to have INSTEAD of your camera cord. Buy a reader and throw the cord away.
