- Q: Hi, currently I have some klipsch promedia 2.1 pc speakers on my computer. And these are what I use to fill my whole room with sound. I'm 16 so I just need to worry about my room. So on my desk are my computer speakers but behind my desk is a dresser. Im thinking about buying the Klipsch kb 15 bookshelf speakers for the top of the dresser. I already have a receiver, and if these speakers don't have enough bass I have a sub woofer I could hook up. The main reasons I'm thinking about buying them is because I can only use my current speakers when i turn on my computer (its a pain to unplug aux cord from down below). And My desk is underneath a loft bed so the speakers don't spread the sound across the room to well. So my question is would I notice the difference if I bought these new bookshelf speakers. In terms of sound, loudness, clarity. BTW I would be keeping the computer speakers as well. Thanks!
- Id say using actual bookshelf speakers and a receiver is a step up from near-field desk PC speakers, yes.

- Speakers for cars are 4 ohms when two of them are parallel they run @ 2 ohms drawing twice the amps from an amp. It's not about if the Speakers can handle 2 ohms. Any speaker able to handle 200 RMS will work for your needs. Ohms have more to do with what your amp can handle.

- Only certain retail store will carry them. They are a high end speakers. You can go online and see what retail store may carry them in your local area. Hope this will help you out.
- Q: I thought my speakers went out because when I plug the speaker wire back into the computer the speakers would just make one deep pop sound. I went and bought new speakers and the same thing is happening. Could it be anything else but the sound card. Thanks
- Possibly your microphone is turned on in your Sound Settings or you have plugged your Speaker Wire into the Microphone Jack. After making sure, that you have plugged your speaker into the sound jack (The Green Color One), try playing the sound. If this is not the approach then, double click on the Sounds Icon on the Taskbar and uncheck the Microphone Option and try playing the file. If all of these did not succeed, make sure that your speakers are not faulty but connecting it to another PC, if one is available. But, if you are sure that the speakers are OK, then probably your Sound Card is faulty. BYE Imtiyaz

- With computer speakers usually one connects to the computer and the other connects to the first speaker. If your speaker system had a subwoofer, it's possible one or both satellite speakers plugged into the subwoofer. My subwoofer connects to the computer, the two satellite speakers connect to the subwoofer. The other jack on the computer is for a microphone.
- Q: Anyone have experience with RV's and outdoor speakers? Recently bought a 27ft Class C and will be having a pretty good radio (carry Sirius) and amp installed. My brother wants to have a set of outdoor speakers powered by the radio for when we sit outside. All intelligent thoughts and ideas appreciated. Name some make and models if you want. The speakers would not be permanently placed to the side of the rv but maybe?? the mounts would be. Me personally, I've got a soft spot for Kicker, they've never let me down in the past. Got these el cheapo ones to throw into my girlfriends car, and what do you know? They don't sound half bad.
- Q: I have a JVC R-x60 that i have 2 Sony 8 ohm tower speakers hooked up to but my left speaker is way louder than my right one. my balance is set at equal for both speakers and my wire going to each speaker is the same length, give or take a few inches. im clueless. any ideas?
- I assume each tower has more than one woofer / tweeter. Possibly a wire to a woofer is loose. Listen to each woofer and tweeter to see if each one is working. I have no experience with your receiver but many have multiple ways to adjust sound. Check all your wires too. Good luck. Length of speaker wire is not your problem.
