- Hi, what are the speakers currently wired to? I would wire the speakers to an amp if they are not already. And the you could play anything you like through those speakers. Your ipod included. - Your door speakers are 6x8's and any door speakers that you use to replace those factory speakers will be better. - Peak is exactly that - the speakers can handle brief spikes of that power but are not rated to handle it continually. Good rule of thumb - get speakers rated at TWICE the output of your stereo - so for your 4x45, get 4 100W speakers - make sure the speakers and stereo are using the same rating system, as there are around 3 ways to measure power output in stereo systems.

- If ur get a after market head unit more than likely your front speakers will be louder but so will your rear speakers you'll have to compensate for the power difference of the head unit and make the corrections for the speakers as well I have all four door speakers amped nothin is going off my head unit beside my tweeters and it's loud as hell so just make the proper adjustments to the head unit and equal out the power by fading to the front or rear and it'll sound great any more questions hit me up

- Sounds like you want to hook these speakers up all at once. You can hook up any two of your speakers in series but not three. When you hook up in series you add the impedances and three ( 8 + 6 + 4) would be 18 ohms which is outside the recommeded range. Also, you have to understand that since the impedance of the speakers are different, when you hook up the speakers together in series the power distribution to the speakers will be uneven. The lower impedance speaker will get more of the power and may sound louder. To answer your other question, speaker impedance of 6-16 ohms is per channel. That means you can have as many speakers as you want as long as the total impedance per channel is between 6 and 16 ohms. However, this does not mean you hook up two speakers and get twice as much sound or hook up four and get four times. What happens is the power gets divided up between the speakers so you might have four speakers but the power gets divided up four ways. I hope that answers your questions.

- I dont think any speaker sets come with the wire. You needto purchase speaker wire. The connections are pretty straight forward. Remove about 1 inch of the plastic on the tips of the speakers. It will be two colors, usually silver and copper. Determine which colors you will connect to the + or - terminals. Connect to rear of amplifier and to rear of speaker.
