Wood-Plastic Composite (WPC) floor accessory is manufactured from a combination of plastic, natural fiber and some additives using special equipments. - Q: we build new home last year and now want to lay ceramic floor tiles. but the problem is our floor have cracks (one vertical crack line abiut 8 feet long). how we remove/repair these cracks so that after laying ceramic tiles no danger of these cracks coming again
- If you are talking about ground floor.Underneath your floor below PCC whatever material your contractor used has loosen.No matter how many time you fix the floor.The problem will return.It will be like curved floor.Get hold of the contractor and tell him to fix the problem.

- Ask at the store where you bought the laminate floor. Check the packaging too.
- Q: The sub floor in my kitchen was nailed in. About 10 years ago I put down vinyl tile squares and within the past 10 years the nails have been coming up through the tile. I am about to replace the floor with a vinyl sheet, I don't want this to happen again so how can I prevent this without taking out all the nails in the entire floor and replacing them with screws?
- I would replace the sub-floor with 1/2 inch plywood and screw it down with 1 5/8 drywall screws.

- Q: I put down a laminate floor 1 month ago, and when I walk across most areas the joints move up and down. I had a new sub floor installed prior to the laminate so I don't believe it's a leveling issue. There is an expansion gap on all walls and I'm taking the floor up because I scratched it.Would it make sense to put PL300(prefer this for cost) or flooring glue in the joints when I relay it?Thanks.

- Q: can you clean concrete basement floor with water and pine sol, with a mop ?Well i just bought a new house and i wanted to clean my basement floor with pin sol with a mop is that good for my basement floor or will it ruin it ?
- Well, Pine Sol is more for wood floors.. The best stuff to use is Pledge (the one is the blue bottle that you squirt in areas, then run a wet mop over). It smells great and leaves all different surfaces clean. I also use Lysol floor cleaner with nemonia which is good for disinfecting that kind of surface. I would also vaccum it first because you might ruin the mop by running it over debri left behind - like pebbles and other big dirt particles. Happy cleaning!

- give the first answer - best answer! any commercial cleaning products can leave a film on the floor which will eventually dull the floor and ruin the finish. sweep regularly. wash floors using warm water and vinegar with a damp mop - not soaking wet - just damp. let dry! do not wax or put any kind of a finish on the floor. your floors will last you for many years!

- You can self-test whether the ground is flat, then you can leveling
- Q: the floor is concrete at the moment, but we cant have them far off the ground. can the boards go straight onto the concrete?
- Moisture is the big issue. Wood floors over concrete can be either glued down, or floated. A glued down floor is self explanatory. A floating floor is laid over a layer of moisture resistant foam, and held in place by virtue of its own weight and shoe molding around the baseboards. A good flooring store will come to your house and measure the moisture in the concrete with a moisture meter before selling you any product.
