- Q: I am trying to decorate my house and I'm really stuck on what color of area rug to get for my living room!!!My walls are beige with white trim. Hardwood wood floors in the living room and bedrooms. Black granite floors in the halls, kitchen, breakfast area, and bathrooms. In the living room I have a brown double recliner and brown curtains with black rods. I have a couch and love seat that I'm looking to replace but have not shopped for anything yet (not until I have the money.

- Q: I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. While attempting to do laundry earlier today, I didn't notice that my washer never shut off.. So it kept filling until I noticed my dining room/kitchen room were flooded. I immediately shut the water off. The neighbors below came to my door stating that the water had leaked into their apartment. The question im having is quot;Is it necessary to have the carpet replaced?quot; I have a two year old, and after doing some research I learned that mold could build up, which is something I dont want. Also when the maintenance people came they tracked my carpet with mud and who knows what else when trying to fix my washer. My apartment wont just give me new carpet so Im trying to get some advice in whether or not I should fight for new carpet.

- Q: I was at the yard today and one of the owners was talking about one of these rugs, and I can't put my finger on the name of it. - The trick is to flatten the rug out on the floor the opposite direction up, carry the front of the rug the two fringe of the neck beginning. Swing the rug up and over the pony so as that the rug lands the basically right part up. This needs to be finished on the basically right velocity so as that the rug sails over the back of the pony and lands interior the middle... think of of a matador's cape.
- Q: Yo!My apartment floors are horrable tiles in the living and bed rooms and I hate it! It's cold and cracked up and ugly. Anyways, we started looking at area rugs but for the sizes we would need to cover most of the rooms we are only finding ones that cost like $1,000 - and we can't afford that - and thats at places like kohls and target, places I thought would be cheap. Are there any websites where I can buy large area rugs for cheap? Or could I even buy the kind of rugs they usually install but not install it? Where would I get that? At this point anything is going to look better then these stupid tiles!
- OKorder has a very large collection of Area Rugs in the Home Decor section. You will fund rugs to meet all budgets in a range of styles.
- Q: If you have an apartment with Pergo or hardwood floors in an older building that doesn't have a lot of insulation will rugs, curtains and the like help with reducing noise transmission to other units?
- I imagine the carpets would help reduce echo, so would lots of things in the room. Heat would help as well. You can't really reduce the sound and could probably only make a small effect after the carpet and curtain way
