Q: if your answer is quot;kill it,quot; tell me how and with what.
Squirrels. No I don't kill them but never feed around your home or garden.I have tried traps which only catches the neighborhood cats.So I gave that up.Have not found anything to keep them away for long.
Q: Hi I'm trying to create a mini home garden of veggies like spinach, lettuce varieties, cherry tomatoes, basil chives ..etc. And some flowersMy little seedlings are growing well the have just germinated and are sproutingBut in some pots I didn't use pots with holes in the bottom simply because I didn't find any good ones is this going to affect my plants?! What can I do to get around it? I am worried about the nitrogen stacking up in the soilAnother thing is do u have any ideas for sprouts o leaves that are edible, a nice quick harvest and that can grow in small pots like beansprouts for example.. I can't seem to recall any names of these VeggiesI would appreciate any kind of hone gardening tips and Ideas so please feel free to elaborate or summarize, be creative or realistic I could use all and everything
The first step in beginning your own garden is to determine what you want to grow. Are you looking to spruce up your front lawn? Consider planting some colorful perennials around your walkway and driveway to draw attention to your landscaping. Are you looking to grow fruits and vegetables for you and your family to enjoy? Convert your backyard into a fresh produce grocer by planting edible crops. If it is your first time planting food, it is recommended that you start small with items like tomatoes, peppers, or squash. It is important to consider how many people you are planning to feed, as this will determine how much you need to grow. Once you have figured that out, you will be able to determine how much space you need. Don’t forget to think about the location of the sun and the quality of the soil you will be planting in. After your seeds have been planted, be sure to monitor their water intake. Check on the plants daily to ensure that there is no damage from weather elements or animals.
Q: i want statues, water fountains and maybe some indoor figurines any body got any suggestions
i okorder i know its a good one because its mine check it out and leave me a contact message
Q: how to prevent a squirrell from eating the flowers and messing up the garden?
If the're bulbs plant gumballs(sugar maple) with bulbs. The squirrel feels the points on gumballs and leaves. If the're blooming buy an outside cat.NO Squirrels!
Q: i am moving, i am looking to rent a condo - most of the condos i like are 1200 a month, but i am only looking to spend 1000 ... can i place an offer to the buyer for 1000? or does it not work that way when renting?
ABSOLUTELY!!! Everything in life is negotiable, except death. Even taxes are negotiable!! Make your offer, make it contingent on no more then 10% increase in the lease terms and that the lease is renewable as long as you want it to be. In today's economy, any landlord would be foolish to refuse your offer. In all likelihood, the landlord is making sufficient income to pay his mortgage and have a tidy sum left over. One thing I suggest -- don't make unnecessary calls for maintenance. Do the small repairs yourself; if necessary, paint the insides yourself -- it only takes a couple of gallons of paint ($6 gallon at Walmart) and a little effort. Water leaks are usually as simple as a rubber washer and/or a little caulking. Get a good Better Homes Gardens Do It Yourself repair manual and do the repairs yourself. You'll lean a lot about keeping up your future self-owned home. If you don't call him for every little thing, you can negotiate, securely, the next year's rental. You are no trouble, so you shouldn't have to pay extra!!! What better negotiation issue can you have -- I didn't cost you anything, so why do you have to increase cost? Good luck! you sound like a sensible person!!!
Q: Are tiny homes really just garden sheds on a trailer ?
Not at all. They are not on trailers.
Q: I was wondering if anybody has heard of Home and Garden Party and if anybody was interested in a shopping spree!??
No, I haven't heard of a Home and Garden Party, and who wouldn't want a shopping spree.
Q: Is there anything sexier than watching a girl water her garden outside her home?

Q: I will be living in very south alabama, somewhat near florida. I want to make a garden in my back yard and the size of my garden is going to be 20 feet by 30 feet. What should I plant?I plan to plant marigolds since I believe bugs do not like the smell of marigolds and will stay away. Is this a good idea? How many marigolds should i plant?Tips and other information would also be appreciated.
I believe part of the fun of gardening is experimentation. We change things around in our gardens all the time. Yes, the marigolds are a good idea. You want to plant them around the front of your garden. As far as flowers, you can have fun picking out the types you like, just remember to look at the packages to see how tall they get, and plant shorter ones near the front and taller ones near the back. As far as vegetables, try to think of ones that you would eat more often, and what you would like to cook. Sometimes we grow things, and then have to wonder what to do with them...Also, you have to consider how much space each plant needs to grow. When it comes to bugs, we have been mixing up a tablespoon of dish liquid in a spray bottle and spraying the plants once a week to help keep them away. Good luck, and happy gardening.
