Q: How can i get a water flower at home or garden?
I am assuming you mean an aquatic plant like lotus or water lily. If that's the case, you need a container that holds water, so it will grow. You can use anything from a bucket to a decorative pot. Put in mosquito dunks or mosquito fish in the container to avoid mosquitoes breeding in the stagnant water.
Q: I got heaps of these really small black flies that are breeding in my home. They look just like a black ant (same size, black, thin, long) but then when you look up close they have 2 wings on them. A friend gave us a printer and noticed the whole thing was infested with them. Now the printer has gone, they wont go. They tend to be hanging around our window glass and sills in our bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen. I cant spray anymore as its giving me allergies. What are they? and how can I rid them?
For cockroaches MOVE!!! all other bugs just take your family and pets bomb your house and get a hotel!!!
Q: I lost my favorite recipe from a cookbook my grandmother gave me. I know the cookbook was Better Homes and Gardens, most likely published in the 1960's as a souvenir edition. The specific recipe was for lasagna on page 166. Does anyone else have the same recipe?

Q: i don't have anything planted in my garden right now but am planning to plant vegetable in the springshould i till my garden and expose the dirt to the winter frost or leave it like it is until i till in the spring
Yes, if the ground isn't too hard till it now. Frost will break down any clods of dirt and also kill any weeds you turn over. You will then be well away for planting when spring comes.
Q: I'm interested in saving money on groceries, as we all are and I'd like to do that by having a garden all year round. I just don't know if it's possible.
Yes you can
Q: I just got him 3 days ago. I feed him at 7am and then take him out for 15-20 minutes to potty, at 10am i leave to work and leave a little bit of food and water. I work from 10am-6pm (2-3 days a week), and i can't come by at lunch. My neighbor has agreed to check up on him, but not i'm not sure if at 12 or 1. He's already peed and pooped all over the living room and i know that's normal for a puppy because they can't hold it too long.Around 6:30-7pm i feed him again and then take him outside for another 15-20 minutes. I noticed that he doesn't like to be on the sidewalk and is usually messing around where ever there is grass. My question is when i'm home, How many times should i take my puppy out when i'm home? Is there a general rule? Is 15-20 minutes enough for the puppy? I don't have a backyard, it only a small area for him to walk on concrete but the front has a small grass area.Thanks.
He should also go out as soon as you get home from work and right before you go to bed and as soon as you wake up in the morning and right before you leave. He should still be going out right after he eats. He should have at least 40 min. of walking/running outside everyday (if weather permits) plus the potty breaks where you stay close to the house to speed it up. Also, you might find it better to crate train him or at least have him in a pen if you don't already while you are gone and sleeping. There should not be any food left down when it is not feeding time and especially when you are not available to take him out. And only a little water should be provided, not enough to make him need to pee. One more thing. Right now he will prefer to walk on grass because his pads are soft and tender. On your walks you should alternate between letting him walk on grass and making him walk on the road. Good luck!
Q: How or where do I get these coupons? I'm gonna spend about 3000 on floor tiles and I'm gonna need it. I know that ebay has them, but where else could I find them?

I know nothing about gardening but its been something I've wanted to do for a while. After I get everything out how should I go about replacing the area? (with top soil? fertilizer? Any tips, advice or good websites would be greatly appreciated
Contact your County Agent for region specific information. Your soil will need to be tested for Ph and nutrients through your County Agent's office. A quick, easy fix is to do raised bed gardening.
