Product description
A geomembrane is very low permeability synthetic membrane liner or barrier used with any geotechnical engineering related material so as to control fluid (or gas) migration in a human-made project, structure, or system. Geomembranes are made from relatively thin continuous polymeric sheets, but they can also be made from the impregnation of geotextiles with asphalt, elastomer or polymer sprays, or as multilayered bitumen geocomposites. Continuous polymer sheet geomembranes are, by far, the most common.

FAQ:
Q: What kind of payments does jenor support?
A: T/T, L/C, Cash are accepted.
Q: Do you charge for the samples?
A: Accordeing to our company policy, the samples are free, we only charge the freight fee. And we will return the freight fee during the next order.
Q: Can you produce according to customers' design?
A: Sure, we are professional manufacturer, OEM and ODM are both welcome.
Q: Do you have other products?
A: Yes, please check the pictures:
- Q: How do geotextiles help with erosion control in river channels?
- Geotextiles help with erosion control in river channels by providing a physical barrier that stabilizes the soil and prevents it from being washed away by flowing water. They also promote vegetation growth by allowing water to permeate while filtering out sediment, ultimately protecting the riverbanks from erosion.
- Q: Can geotextiles be used in the construction of wastewater treatment plants?
- Yes, geotextiles can indeed be used in the construction of wastewater treatment plants. Geotextiles are commonly used in these projects for various purposes such as filtration, separation, erosion control, and reinforcement. They can be applied in different areas including lining of ponds, filtration of effluent, protection of pipes, and stabilization of soil. Geotextiles help enhance the efficiency and longevity of wastewater treatment plants by providing necessary support and functionality.
- Q: Welding of impervious geotextile
- 1. Seam processing is the key to the construction process, the general use of heat welding method, PE film surface heat treatment, so that the surface melting, and then through the pressure, so that one fusion. 2. For the laying of a good geomembrane, edge seams require no oil, water, dust and so on. 3. Before welding to adjust the seam at the two sides of the PE single film, so that a certain width of the lap, lap width is generally 6 ~ 8 cm and smooth, no wrinkles. 4. Use special welding machine for welding. Welding construction effect map:
- Q: Roof 1: 3 cement mortar leveling layer mixed with polypropylene or nylon-6 fiber is the role of what?
- Compensated shrinkage, to prevent cracking, from a certain role in the tensile polypropylene fiber with high strength, good toughness, chemical resistance and microbial resistance and low price advantages, it is widely used in ropes, fishing nets, seat belts, luggage , Safety nets, sewing thread, cable foreskin, geotextile, filter cloth, papermaking felt and paper reinforced materials and other industries. Polypropylene woven geotextiles made of polypropylene fiber with high strength, acid resistance, alkali resistance, antimicrobial, wet and wet strength and other excellent properties can be used to build civil engineering (such as dams, reservoirs, highways) , Railways, etc.) play a reinforcement role, and the load load evenly distributed in the geotextile, so that the roadbed settlement evenly, reducing the ground crack. Construction of slopes, the use of woven polypropylene geotextile can stabilize the slope, reduce the collapse of the slope, shorten the construction period, to extend the service life of the slope. When carrying a larger load, we can use woven geotextile and nonwovens as the matrix of composite geotextile. Polypropylene fiber can be used as concrete, mortar and other filler material to improve the impact resistance of concrete, waterproof insulation.
- Q: How do geotextiles help with soil reinforcement in retaining wall applications?
- Geotextiles help with soil reinforcement in retaining wall applications by providing a stable base for the wall, preventing soil erosion, and improving the overall stability and durability of the structure. They act as a barrier that separates the backfill soil from the wall, allowing for proper drainage while also preventing the loss of fine particles. This reinforcement helps to distribute the lateral forces exerted by the soil, reducing the pressure on the wall and increasing its overall strength.
- Q: Can geotextiles be used in embankment reinforcement?
- Yes, geotextiles can be used in embankment reinforcement. Geotextiles are often used in civil engineering projects to improve the stability and strength of earth structures, including embankments. They can effectively distribute loads, provide soil separation and filtration, and enhance the overall performance and longevity of embankments.
- Q: How do geotextiles contribute to the stability of railroad ballast?
- Geotextiles contribute to the stability of railroad ballast by acting as a barrier between the ballast and the underlying soil. They prevent the migration of fine particles from the soil into the ballast, reducing the risk of ballast contamination and subsequent track settlement. Geotextiles also provide reinforcement to the ballast, distributing loads more evenly and enhancing its overall stability.
- Q: How are geotextiles manufactured?
- Geotextiles are manufactured through a variety of processes involving synthetic fibers such as polyester or polypropylene. These fibers are first extruded into long filaments or spun into yarns. Then, they are woven or non-woven into a fabric-like structure using specialized machinery. The resulting geotextiles can be further treated with additives for increased durability or specific functionalities.
- Q: Geotextile exports Nordic need certification
- Production standards geotextile, geomembrane, composite geomembrane.
- Q: Can geotextiles be used in the protection of groundwater sources?
- Yes, geotextiles can be used in the protection of groundwater sources. Geotextiles are permeable fabrics that can be used to create barriers and filters in various applications. When used in groundwater protection, geotextiles can act as a barrier to prevent the movement of contaminants or pollutants from reaching the groundwater sources. They can also be used as filters to separate and remove suspended particles, sediments, or pollutants from stormwater runoff before it infiltrates into the groundwater. Overall, geotextiles can play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and integrity of groundwater sources.
