Bagless Vacuum Cleaners introduction

Bagless vacuum cleaner feature a removable dust storage container, which can be emptied into your refuse bin when full. This is a simple method of maintaining your vacuum cleaner and making sure it doesn't lose suction. The advantage of this bagless system over a bagged vacuum cleaner is that it is more environmentally friendly, and avoids the need to purchase dust bags, thus saving you money.

FAQ

Is it best to go for a more powerful vacuum cleaner?

The power of a vacuum cleaner’s motor is measured in Watts. The higher the Wattage the better it will clean, as long as the machine is well designed with good air flow and suction power too. However, the higher the wattage, the noisier the machine will be. With upright vacuum cleaners. you don’t need to have so much wattage or suction power as you do with a cylinder cleaner as the dirt has less distance to travel before it reaches the bag or dust container. The type of brushes are more of an important consideration with uprights than the power. You don’t always want to have a vacuum cleaner operating at full power for example, when cleaning upholstery or curtains, so it’s useful to be able to adjust the power level yourself.

Which attachments should I look out for?

Most vacuum cleaners come with three attachments, a crevice tool, upholstery and dusting brushes and a small head which is best for vacuuming stairs. You can also get additional turbo brushes which have their own motor for extra suction which are useful for cleaning deep-pile carpets or a power cleaning head which has electrically powered rotating brushes. A hard-floor or parquet brush is useful for wooden or tiled floors. Some cleaners have extendable tubes which are useful for hard to reach areas like cobwebs in the corners of ceilings.

I have a large house? What should I look out for?

Look for a cleaner with a large cleaning head – this will help cut down the amount of time it takes to vacuum a room. Also get as long a lead as you can get to cut down on the number of times you have to unplug the lead and plug it in again. You may also want to consider getting a model with a large capacity dust collector or bag so that you don’t have to empty it as frequently. If you have a lot of stairs, you may want to get a cylinder model with a long stretchy stair-cleaning hose.

Q: What is the real reason Vacuum Cleaners have a head light on the front of it?
So you don't suck up any of those tiny little legos.
Q: I've been working on a couple projects in one room in my house. The room really needs to be vacuumed but there is aquarium gravel scattered around as well as a bunch of tiny screws. I have a shark vacuum. There's no threat of puncturing a bag because this vacuum doesn't use a bag - it uses a canister. I could easily empty the canister and then go over the floor with the hose. I'm wondering if it's an ok idea though because I don't want to damage anything in the vacuum. Occasionally, my battery powered aquarium vacuum will suck up a couple pieces of gravel, they'll get stuck, stop the vacuum, and I have to get them out for the vacuum to work again. I don't know how house vacuums work, but I don't want that to happen. If there aren't any mechanical components to be damaged, then I guess the only other worry would be the hose, but the hose on this vacuum feels pretty sturdy, and I would just be vacuuming tiny gravel and tiny, corroded screws - nothing sharp like tacks or nails. What do you guys think?
The aquarium vacuum cannot be compared to a regular vacuum cleaner. The motor is smaller as well as the vacuum pump. Also the particles flow through the aquarium vacuum pump where as the regular vacuum cleaners create a vacuum in the container that catches the dust and debris and there is usually a filter between the container and the intake of the vacuum pump that blocks most of the dust and debris. Make sure you check that filter before you start and when you have finished the vacuuming.
Q: Please recommend a good & cheap vacuum for carpets and rugs.?
The best vacuum I have ever bought is my Oreck. It's light weight and I can carry it anywhere and the suction is great. I bought it used on Craigslist and I see people selling them all the time on that site. Give it a try and if there aren't any for sale put an ad in the Wanted section and state that you'll pay $50.00. Good Luck
Q: Any advice, anyone?
Well I dont know if it is inexpensive but it is very important the vacuum has a power head to separate the carpet fibres to lift the pet hair, I have a SEBO and with several cats it does the job perfectly. I found cheap vacs with no power head are useless.
Q: What are some qualities that both white people and vacuum cleaners have.?
We make houses look presentable?
Q: i was cleaning my pc with with a vacuum ( wich im already doing for years)and before i know my pc would't startup when i pressed the power button i connected my power SW (switch) and reset SW and speakers to my motherboardnow my pc will start but after i get my first ASUS screen it just shuts down???? everytime again.....this is what i already tried to do : unplug 1 RAM card see if my cpu fan was properely attached to motherboard changing the POWER SW and the RESET SW from positions and it still doesn't want to work ???Please help me i would appreciate that.greets Jason Dewaide

Q: The ball can move up and down. I looked closely, and the ball can seal the hole. I flipped my vacuum upside down and the pressure easily holds the ball there. I suppose it must be there to help the flow. Not sure if any swirling occurs below the impeller suction hole, but I doubt it. Is the sphere acting as a diffuser or nozzle somehow?Just wondering. Thanks.
Shop vacs are designed to suck up liquids and when the tank fills the ball will float and eventually plug the air suction opening to the blower. The ball is there to prevent liquid from the tank from being sprayed out of the vacuum and to protect the motor from that liquid.
Q: That has good suction that is under $100? I assume the Dyson would be good but they are 220 and 270 dollars. I don't want one with weak suction.
Hi, okorder /... Hope this helps.
Q: They look like vacuum cleaners
Lancia has a racing pedigree, so I would have to guess that they don't. Why don't you look up some of the specs and then come to a decision,
Q: My vacuum has the ability to fill air matresses, so all that I need is an entention to fill a sport ball. I'd rather that over an electric ball pump because they're priced at $60+ and probably not as good!
No. You could rig something though. Do you have 100 balls to fill or something? It takes very little time to fill a ball by hand.
