Bagless Vacuum Cleaners introduction
Bagless vacuum cleaner feature a removable dust storage container, which can be emptied into your refuse bin when full. This is a simple method of maintaining your vacuum cleaner and making sure it doesn't lose suction. The advantage of this bagless system over a bagged vacuum cleaner is that it is more environmentally friendly, and avoids the need to purchase dust bags, thus saving you money.
FAQ
Is it best to go for a more powerful vacuum cleaner?
The power of a vacuum cleaner’s motor is measured in Watts. The higher the Wattage the better it will clean, as long as the machine is well designed with good air flow and suction power too. However, the higher the wattage, the noisier the machine will be. With upright vacuum cleaners. you don’t need to have so much wattage or suction power as you do with a cylinder cleaner as the dirt has less distance to travel before it reaches the bag or dust container. The type of brushes are more of an important consideration with uprights than the power. You don’t always want to have a vacuum cleaner operating at full power for example, when cleaning upholstery or curtains, so it’s useful to be able to adjust the power level yourself.
Which attachments should I look out for?
Most vacuum cleaners come with three attachments, a crevice tool, upholstery and dusting brushes and a small head which is best for vacuuming stairs. You can also get additional turbo brushes which have their own motor for extra suction which are useful for cleaning deep-pile carpets or a power cleaning head which has electrically powered rotating brushes. A hard-floor or parquet brush is useful for wooden or tiled floors. Some cleaners have extendable tubes which are useful for hard to reach areas like cobwebs in the corners of ceilings.
I have a large house? What should I look out for?
Look for a cleaner with a large cleaning head – this will help cut down the amount of time it takes to vacuum a room. Also get as long a lead as you can get to cut down on the number of times you have to unplug the lead and plug it in again. You may also want to consider getting a model with a large capacity dust collector or bag so that you don’t have to empty it as frequently. If you have a lot of stairs, you may want to get a cylinder model with a long stretchy stair-cleaning hose.
- Q: Can you suggest me a good vacuum cleaner without any filters?I want a vacuum cleaner that has no filters so I don't have to buy any at all.Can you tell what brand of vacuum cleaner don't have filters so I could buy one that would be great if you help me out :)And please right down what type of vacuum cleaner do you use and what do you think is the best :)Thank you :)
- I have a rainbow vacuum which uses water. I love it because it doesn't blow dirt right back into the air like other vacuums. You don't have to change any bags or filters. It's kinda like a high maintenance machine in the sense that you need to clean the basin after every vac. But that only boils down to an extra 2 or 3 min. after vacuuming. The average rainbow owner keeps it from 15-20 years. It is also a certified air cleaner, so a two-in-one deal. We buy nice furniture, nice houses, and big investments but some would rather protect their investments with a $50-$100 piece of equipment that doesn't get the job done. I choose to spend a little more for quality and longevity and for my health. Hope this helps. Check out the link, too!
- Q: how many watts does a vacuum normally use?
- If you mean a vacuum cleaner, it depends on model and manufacturer. I would doubt that most domestic ones use more than 750 watts, though. But there should be a nameplate with that information on it. Now, industrial vacuum cleaners can be a bit bigger and use more power - like hundreds of horsepower.
- Q: I know that 'commercial' refers to business applications, so I'm not looking for general information but details). Are the terms used in accordance with industry standards, or are they unique to each company? One company, Aerus LLC (formerly Electrolux Corporation), mentioned that the only differences between its commercial and household vacuum cleaners is that the former have less warranty protection, have longer cords, and do not feature above the floor attachments or headlights. Nothing was said about construction materials being different.
- There may be no industry standard for those terms, the sales department of a company may have some say in how things get named, I would guess Heavy Duty may not be as touch as equipment actually meant for Commercial use. A household vacuum cleaner meant for Light Duty for example, might burn out of run continuously for an extended time.
- Q: any views appreciated ......
- I used it and it's pretty good. :) I mean it's better than a normal vacuum!
- Q: How many people worldwide have vacuum cleaners?
- who cares really
- Q: especially for philips brand vacuum cleaners
- try it in Mock Kong ( may my spelling is wrong ).. near hong kong.... been once where u can find any thing .... it very cheap... there... buddy just try and write to me on this.... bye !!
- Q: Your Open QuestionShow me another ? Professional House Cleaners only Please answer question about Commercial Vacuum cleaners?I have a house cleaning business, we clean 2 homes a day and after buying 14 vacuum cleaners in the past 2 years I am done with spending money on vacuums that don't hold up or are 2 heavy or have so many filters to clean that you spend your evenings doing that. Does anyone have any suggestions on what vacuum we should buy? Just like you the house's we clean have an array of flooring, wood, tile, oriental rugs, carpet. Please help with your experience Thanks!!
- I have had the same issues time and time again, either too heavy, won't fit under furniture, hoses tear, too may filters and like you tired of replacing them. I purchased a Dyson about a year ago and it has not lost suction yet. I use it everyday it only needs one filter and I wash it out as directed which is perfect for me. The extension pole on it is great too for getting dusty spots and spiderwebs. I comes with a lot of different attachments so i can manage multiple surfaces. I will never buy another vacuum brand.
- Q: I had sales people come to my door last night. I was just getting in the shower. I told them I had very little time. Two came in and demostrated. The woman was very understand and went through it fast. When they were getting ready to leave the big boss came in. I am assuming to close the deal. He went throught the demo all over again. I kept telling him I have been through it already. Three hours later they were leaving!! She apologized. It seems like an amazing vacuum, but a lot of work. In addition to the work it was going to cost me 1900.00! I hear they Dyson (misspelled I am sure) is good. Does anyone know anything about the Dyson?
- My momloves her Dyson, I personally own a Kirby and love it except the weight of it. Kirby's do last but if you have a 2 story then get a easier to lift model. I loke the fact that it has the hepa filter because my son has serious asthma and that is why I purchased it and that I am a clean freak so dust mites gross me out. You can't go wrong with a kirby I would go on OKorder or something and see what they run. Even one that is ten years old can be fixed up at the local Kirby shop. I would definately file a complaint against the salesmen, they are very good but that is ridiculous.
- Q: How to repair the vacuum cleaner fan?
- Check that the motor shaft needs lubrication
- Q: If Adam was made from DUST does God consider vacuum cleaners as EVIL?
- Probably yes. What are you smoking this morning?
