Bagless Vacuum Cleaners introduction
Bagless vacuum cleaner feature a removable dust storage container, which can be emptied into your refuse bin when full. This is a simple method of maintaining your vacuum cleaner and making sure it doesn't lose suction. The advantage of this bagless system over a bagged vacuum cleaner is that it is more environmentally friendly, and avoids the need to purchase dust bags, thus saving you money.
FAQ
Is it best to go for a more powerful vacuum cleaner?
The power of a vacuum cleaner’s motor is measured in Watts. The higher the Wattage the better it will clean, as long as the machine is well designed with good air flow and suction power too. However, the higher the wattage, the noisier the machine will be. With upright vacuum cleaners. you don’t need to have so much wattage or suction power as you do with a cylinder cleaner as the dirt has less distance to travel before it reaches the bag or dust container. The type of brushes are more of an important consideration with uprights than the power. You don’t always want to have a vacuum cleaner operating at full power for example, when cleaning upholstery or curtains, so it’s useful to be able to adjust the power level yourself.
Which attachments should I look out for?
Most vacuum cleaners come with three attachments, a crevice tool, upholstery and dusting brushes and a small head which is best for vacuuming stairs. You can also get additional turbo brushes which have their own motor for extra suction which are useful for cleaning deep-pile carpets or a power cleaning head which has electrically powered rotating brushes. A hard-floor or parquet brush is useful for wooden or tiled floors. Some cleaners have extendable tubes which are useful for hard to reach areas like cobwebs in the corners of ceilings.
I have a large house? What should I look out for?
Look for a cleaner with a large cleaning head – this will help cut down the amount of time it takes to vacuum a room. Also get as long a lead as you can get to cut down on the number of times you have to unplug the lead and plug it in again. You may also want to consider getting a model with a large capacity dust collector or bag so that you don’t have to empty it as frequently. If you have a lot of stairs, you may want to get a cylinder model with a long stretchy stair-cleaning hose.
- Q: Where can i get good deals on dirt devil vacuum cleaners and supplies?
- You okorder It's the best vacuum cleaner OKorder store
- Q: My vacuum cleaner has recently lost all suction. I've cleaned out the filters, and made sure the tubes aren't clogged with gunk, and everything is pretty clear. Any other suggestions? I'd rather try to fix it then buy yet another new vacuum.
- What type of vacuum do you own (make/model #)? If you could tell me the make/model then I could probably help you a little better. However, if the vacuum you own cost less than $100, then unfortunately it's probably time to buy a new one. Most cheap vacuums tend to loose suction over time, and repairing them can cost almost as much as a new one. It sounds like you have purchased quite a few vacuums, and are probably tired of doing so. Unfortunately, it seems that most vacuum manufacturers now days make vacuums so they only last 3-5 years (and some even less). However, there still are some good vacuums for less than $150 (if you do need to purchase one): the Shark Navigator is a great one and comes with a 5 Year Warranty, the Eureka Airspeed Bagless is another great one that doesn't cost that much. If you want to have a vacuum that will last 20 years, then you are going to need to spend a little more money. If you can do this, then I would recommend looking at a Miele - they have some great options, and are tested to literally run for 20 years, and come with a 7 year warranty. They are expensive, but if you take into consideration the cost of 5+ cheap vacuums, then it's not that bad in the long-run. Anyways, I hope this helps. Good luck.
- Q: Please read further to answer question. 10 points for best answerYou are comparing two vacuum cleaners in an appliance store and notice that one israted at 120V, 9 Amp while the other is rated at 120V, 12 Amp.WHY?
- The vacuum cleaner's current is largely drawn by its vacuum motor/s. Some cleaners use another motor in order to drive a brush in the cleaning head. Could this extra motor be the cause of the added current in some cleaners?
- Q: a. name 2 household appliances that use wheelsb. two uses for the wheel in the world of entertainment

- Q: How to repair the vibration lever of vacuum cleaner?
- If the brush has worn off, replace the brush. If the end cap, flange or casing is damaged, it also needs replacing. Replace the whole vibration lever if necessary
- Q: how much air does a rainbow vacuum move?
- Check out vacuum cleaners at a public library in a magazine called Consumer Reports. If you do not get an answer there, try the rainbow web site.
- Q: What are the best reasonably priced HEPA air filters out there? Is it best to get one that attached to a furnace (but then its only running when the heat or AC is on) or a few smaller ones and move them room to room? Also, I understand that it is imprtant to try and vacuum with a HEPA vacuum. Any advice on something out there that is reasonably priced (and reasonably priced filters). For both, I want to get something that is not too cheap (ie something that actually works) but not top of the line (I am not running a hospital.. just want to increase the quality of the air we breathe at home.
- I would go with one attached to your furnace. Most thermostats have a setting that will make the fan run continuously, not just when heat or ac is called for. I think that would be cheaper to buy, run and replace filters for than trying to run several small portable units. We had a Hoover upright with HEPA filter that seemed to work pretty well for a mid-priced vacuum. Bert
- Q: are there any vacuum cleaners with the carpet shampooer built in?
- Yes, Vax, Bessell, Kirby etc search OKorder, Currys, Comet butit is best to do some web research to find the better model GOOD LUCK Happy New Year
- Q: We have had a rainbow vacuum SE for several years now and the power nozzle recently started not working as well as it should. We have replaced the belt and cleaned the brush, but nothing has seemed to help any. Is it time to replace the motor in the power nozzle?
- Hi there, Your post doesn't say exactly how your current power nozzle is working at the moment. But i'll give you a general answer anyway. I am a technician for vacuum cleaners (and an authorised agent for rainbow). Basically there are two possibilities for the problem. The first is the bearings for the brush roller. over time the bearings can wear and stop allowing the brush to spin properly, this puts strain on the motor and can cause damage to the brush and roller. It is simple to diagnose though. Turn on your power head as per normal but with the base plate removed so you can listen more clearly. Then take the brush out so the motor is just turning with no load. If it sounds smooth with the brush out then it is more likely that it is the bearings for your brush rather than the motor that needs replacing. As a side point even if it is the motor that is noticeably faulty, it is worth replacing the brush bearings anyway so you get the best possible improvement from your work. The bearings aren't dear to buy anyway. If you need a place to buy the parts for your rainbow vacuum cleaner you can visit the sites below.
- Q: i heard that the motor filter are recommanded to change cos they clog up dust easily n cant wash with water. is there any other cons of dyson machines that you plp can help to list?
