- Q: I was playing a game and then my keyboard wouldn't work. But my mouse did work. I closed down the game and then went onto a website and my keyboard still wouldn't work. It didn't work for my whole computer. I had to restart it, and its really annoying because ive been having to restart it about every 20 minutes or so. Why is this? My keyboard is properly put in and even if i unplug and plug, it still wont work. What should I do to fix this from happening again?Please and thankyou~
- try sticking the keyboard into another computer to see which is broken, the computer or the keyboard. if its the key board, well old keyboards use old fashioned plugs that trap dust(or insects) easily, so blow those out, if its the computer do a full virus scan to see if a keylogger or virus has somehow screwed up ur keyboard. send the keyboard to a repair shop if nessasry

- Q: I spilled some coke on my macbook keyboard (:S). everything works fine, some keys are sticky; but my real issue is that the button sometimes presses without me touching it. - Not sure on macbooks but most laptops allow you to take off the keys on the keyboard so you can clean it. So you can try that and try cleaning it to see if it fixes it.
- Q: I posted a question earlier about how many keys are on a keyboard and by keyboard I don't mean like a computer or laptop keyboard I mean like the piano keyboard except it's not a piano it's smaller than a piano and shaped like a rectangle (It's called a keyboard). - I would also reccomend you take a look at a Roland. If you are interested in more than just sounding like a keyboard, they are the way to go. Even the simpler one are able to support multiple synths/voices, and multi channel recording.

- The system is still set to use the German keyboard layout. You have to change the default keyboard 'input source' to 'U.S.': – Open System Preferences-LanguageText – Go to the tab 'Input Sources'. You'll see a list of keyboard languages. Scroll down and check-mark the entry 'U.S.'. – If you don't want to use the German keyboard ever again, un-check the entry 'German'. In this case, the US keyboard will automatically be activated. – If you want to change occasionally, check the option 'Show input menu in menu bar.' This will display a little flag in the menu bar which you can click to get a menu of all keyboard languages that you have check-marked in the list of keyboard languages.

So instead of living it would be 'liuwf' And when I'd press K it would close the window that was currently on top. - Maybe you have some sticky keys or the circuit board of the keyboard is messed up. You should try inspecting your keyboard. If there are no visible errors, open up your laptop and see if the keyboard is connected properly. If still no problems appear, try replacing your keyboard.

- Using a bluetooth keyboard on the iPad is easy. The iPad’s on-screen keyboard works fine but if you are going to do a lot of typing a physical keyboard may be more convenient. If you already have a bluetooth keyboard I recommend that you try it with your ipad. Here is how to get the iPad to recognize your keyboard. 1. Go to settings, general, bluetooth and turn on bluetooth. The iPad will start searching for bluetooth devices. 2. Hold the power button on the keyboard for 5 to 10 seconds or until it shows up. 3. Select the keyboard on the iPad. 4. A pop up will be displayed with a pin number. 5. Type the pin number on the keyboard and hit enter. It should indicate that your keyboard is connected, now you can use your bluetooth keyboard. When you need to type the on-screen keyboard will not be displayed, which is good since you don’t need it.

- I recommend a keyboard with full-size, piano-weighted keys. That way as you learn, you'll also get a feel for the piano. It may be a little more expensive, but you won't grow out of it. The Casio PX130 Privia is a good example of this. Whatever keyboard you get, just make sure it has MIDI OUT so that you can connect it to a computer when you get more advanced. That way you can use the keyboard as a MIDI controller--controlling the sound patches and sequencing software in your computer. Then the sound possibilities are endless. Because of this, the built-in sounds and recording abilities of the keyboard by itself aren't really that important.
