Q: I play on a laptop and most of my friends play on Desktop but i play on a laptop. I was wondering if getting a Keyboard would make a difference playing games like CS:GO and BF3. Im planning on ordering the Razer DeathAdder 2013 and im wondering if i should buy a keyboard with it.
I play minecraft on a laptop with the laptop keyboard without problem. But buying a keyboard you feels comfortable with is important imho. It's just which keyboard you are used to. If you play using laptop a lot and you are used to it, changing to a gaming keyboard may hinder you.
Q: I really would like an electronic keyboard for Christmas, but my parents aren't willing to spend a lot. Anyone know a price range of around $100 for an electronic keyboard that would be in good condition? Or is $100 too low to afford a good keyboard? Be honest, please.
I looked on OKorder for a Yamaha keyboard 61 keys, and put $120 as my top price. There were 61 to choose from, including one for $99.99, brand new and with free shipping in US. That would be fine as a keyboard for a beginner. If you make great progress, you could always save for a more expensive on in a few years' time. Many of my students began with something similar.
Q: I got windows vista installed, I want to use my USB keyboard on the boot, but it is not working for some reason, it used to work, but it doesn't anymore, how can I activate my keyboard on boot?thanks in advance for any answer.
USB keyboard is usually not enabled as default in BIOS. When Vista was installed, BIOS may have been reset to default, thus using P/S2 keyboard. You may have to temporarily use a P/S2 keyboard to open BIOS menu and then enable USB keyboard support.
Q: i have att any one know of a good full keyboard phone?
DO NOT GET THE VU. I had it and it is horrible! It is sooo not made for speedy texters. like me. get something with a button keyboard. like the samsung impression. i love it. pretty much any samsung phone is amazing, i have never had a problem with samsungs.
Q: Hi there, I am searching for a Gaming Keyboard.I've been gaming in my MacBook Pro and really loved the keyboard. Now I am back to Windows and I'm searching for a keyboard, a nice and simple one, not like those big gaming keyboards. Thank you ;)
As far as simple gaming keyboards go, you are sort of limited. Most manufacturers like to cram as many bells and whistles as they can into a keyboard anymore, same with mice. If you want a simple keyboard with gaming quality function then I would go with something like the Microsoft Sidewinder X4. It is more or less a basic keyboard with just a few extra macro keys but its designed for gaming so they keys and whatnot are built a little stronger than a standard keyboard. You could also go with the Razer Black Widow although I personally have never had much luck with any Razer product and it is twice as expensive as the Microsoft keyboard. Steelseries has the 7G which is a very simple gaming keyboard but it is upwards of $115.
Q: At start up, the num lock light is on but the keyboard does not type. After holding the shift key a few seconds I can hear the computer beep and then my keyboard is fine. But every now and then the num lock light will not come on at start up and the keyboard won't respond to me holding the shift key either, I have to completely restart the computer.
Check to make sure the keyboard is connected firmly. Next time the comp doesn't recognize the keyboard at startup try unplugging it and plugging it back in and see if it finds it. Basically your keyboard must initialize on startup and it seems to be failing at that. Normally it's from the USB/PS2 plug being a little loose or a OS error, but sometimes it's a defective keyboard. So try testing another Keyboard out on it and see if that improves the situation any.
Q: Does anyone know where I can get a lg smart tv wireless keyboard I need one please help
I don;t believe there are any official keyboards that LG supports. Your Magic Remote (2013 model) now has a built-in Qwerty keyboard in response to all the customer requestsbut I don;t think they made any updates to allow you to use one on a 2012 or older model. Many users have found SOME success using certain logitech keyboardsbut they usually have only limited functionality. You should check the Logitech forums where many people have listed there success/failures with different keyboards and different TV's.
Q: Are Midi keyboards good to have if I want to make music on my Mac with garage band?
yes as long as its a decent one, its invaluable btw. A MIDI keyboard is a piano-style digital keyboard device used for sending MIDI signals or commands to other devices connected to the same interface as the keyboard
Q: I have a Dell Vostro 1500, and the keyboard stopped working. It was working fine until I went on vacation for a week, and when I turned it on it ran diagnostic tests. It basically looks like a blue screen, and a loading bar. Then there is a bunch of colors on the screen and it asks can you see the color bars? (yes/no) The problem is I can't press either, because the keyboard doesn't work! How do I know if the keyboard works or not? Well, it turned on once without doing the tests, and it was then when I realized only a few keys on the keyboard work, sometimes. Anyway any help given would really help alot!!! Thanks!!!!
there is no way of testing keyboard other than trying to press keys and see if they function. you can use external keyboard to finish the tests in diagnotic. and if your keyboard has failed. you will have to replace it. you can find one cheap on OKorder or amazon. just type vostro 1500 keyboard in the search. they are not so difficult to replace
Q: Hey guys, Usually mine computer is all normal BUT after using it for 3 hours or so in a row, i have found that some keyboard keys dont work such as. I cant write / it turns out to be a ? and same with the plus and equal, minus and underscore. Also when this happens, something goes wrong with my desktop icons. When i select one icon it sometimes selects 2 icons and i cant deselct them. PLEASE HELPI am running windows 7 home premium and my keyboard language is fine
Update keyboard's driver by visiting to your computer's manufacturer's website. And you may also need to change the keyboard to the good one. Hope this helps you.
