Q: I would like to know what is the equivalent Casio keyboard of the Yamaha DGX series. So whats the same as the Yamaha DGX series but Casio brand?THanks
Casio Keyboards really aren't that great. They're quite cheap, Yamaha Keyboards are actually better, but it matters what model it is as well, so you can't just say Casio. But usually Yamaha is better.
Q: Every once in a while the num, caps and scroll lock will suddenly all light up for a second, then all the light will turn off (even though I had the num lock on, and I can still use the numbers). When this happens one thing i notice is the keyboard repeat rate changes (goes slower). This happens everyday and gets annoying any ideas?
I think your keyboard is screwed up. My advice would be: Get a new keyboard :P
Q: i need to get a driver for my keyboard. i dont know where to get one though.
Xp doesnt need driver.so maybe connecting pins are broken and therez a loose contact .purchase another keyboard or get the pins fixed
Q: Does the electronic keyboard sound exactly like a piano?
Depends. most keyboards use samples to create a specific tone. Those samples are actually single recordings of each note from a real piano. When you play a key, the recorded sound from the same key on the piano is played. But there is a catch! The beauty of a piano is the overtones created by the other strings ringing together. Also, when you lightly play a key on a piano, the tone is different than when you play the same key hard. It is very difficult to recreate that electronically. Some companies come close. Yamaha and Kawai do a good job. So do a few others. Also, the quality of any recreated sound is only as good as the weakest link in the chain. So if you have the most beautiful grand piano sample and play it through a 1 speaker pushed by a poor 2 watt amplifier (exaggeration), it won't be as good as if played through a professional sound system. Hope I helped!
Q: I installed windows seven and ever since my numbers on my keyboard will not work in certain programs, i.e: web browsers. It has no problem working in microsoft word or on the desktop. I have a Toshiba satellite and have called the support number and their tips have not helped. I have uninstalled and re-installed the disk drivers. Uninstalled the disk driver without re-installing the driver. Cleaned the keyboard. Disconnected the keyboard. Messed with all kinds of settings and nothing. I'm beginning to become super frustrated with this. Help?
The driver for your keyboard might be missing or need to be updated. If your keyboard came with a software disc, insert it into your computer to reinstall the driver. Otherwise, follow these steps to update your driver. 1.Open Keyboard by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking Keyboard. 2. Click the Hardware tab, find the keyboard you're using, and then double-click it. 3.Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and then follow the instructions. 4.If you are prompted to restart your computer, do so. 5. If problem still exist,Try plugging your keyboard into another computer. If it still doesn't work, it might be broken. Consider replacing it with a new keyboard, or, if the warranty for the keyboard is still valid, exchanging it for a new one with the manufacturer. Q: Every time I start up my computer my keyboard won't work, i tried plugging my usb keyboard to another usb plug then after that my keyboard works but when I start up my computer again, the same thing hapens, I always have to change the plug, after I used all the plugs my keyboard doesn't work in any usb plugs anymore, I dunno which is broken, my keyboard or my usb ports.
It could be either, by the sound of things. There is an easy way to determine which is defective: Turn your computer off. Select a USB port and hook your keyboard up to it. Now Turn on your computer. If the keyboard works, well problem solved. If not, then turn your computer back off. Take any other device with a USB adapter, cable, jack, ect. and plug it into the SAME USB port you previously have your keyboard in. If the device works, then the keyboard is broken. A simple fix (that most people would choose) is just to buy a new keyboard in this case. You can get one at your local computer store for around $10 for a basic one. In the mean time you can use the On-Screen Keyboard which any windows computer has if you do a search (found in different locations depending on Operating System). This is assuming your keyboard IS broken. If the previous experiment didn't render your keyboard broken, then ask a friend who knows about computers to check out your BIOS. If he/she is a computer person, they know what BIOS is. The reason I say a friend is because in all honesty, most computer repair services waaaay over-charge for the work they do. Some names come to mind (especially the ones that rhyme with Peek Quad). Non-the-less, If you get your BIOS looked at and your friend can't fix it, it may possibly be your motherboard. Hope it's not your motherboard, for that is not a cheap piece of equipment in terms of the average buyer. If it is your mother board, ask for more help, and I will provide. Hope this helps and best of luck.
Q: I accidentally spilled Amarula on my Laptop Keyboard and was not able to type a single alphabet. I bought an external Keyboard but I would prefer to use the Laptop Keyboard. This happened a week ago and now I can type a few alphabets with my Laptop Keyboard but the rest I can't. Can someone please help me on how can I clean the Keyboard???
It is probably broke. It will need replaced. If you have a warranty, use it.
Q: I think the keyboards in europe are not the same as in the USA (like the dot), but I dont know how I put the keyboards from USA, how can I put it normal
Hello! If you are using Microsoft, you need to go the Control Panel, run Regional and Language Options. Now choose the Keyboards and Languages tab, and click change Keyboards. From the General tab, click Add, and browse to the Language and Keyboards you would like to have. Then Ok and Apply the changes. You can always change this and customize the Advanced Key Settings (the shortcuts to display the desired keyboards) in your computer. Hope this helps! :)
Q: I have a Victory Keyboard when I put it on sleep mode I cannot wake it up with the button on the keyboard. Why is that ?
well the Victory Keyboard is tired of you hitting it all the time and wants to sleep for 10hours dont wake it up or it will not work for you if you dont let it have a good night sleep
