Q: Hey guys. my iBook g4's internal keyboard is kinda broken and it types on its own so i bought an external keyboard then after a while while im typing sometimes the internal keyboard is typing diffirent letters again and its annoying so my question is how do i disable my internal keyboard?its just sooo annoyingPlease answer. Thanks in advance. No stupid answers. Please
Its actually quite tricky i dont recommend it. i screwed my lappy trying :(
Q: Can you answers these questions with fact and some kind of vaild resource?- materials used to make an electric keyboard (not a computer keyboard, a piano keyboard)- country it was invented in/first used in- what family it belongs into Thanks! 10 points to who answers all of them or 10 points who bothers to answer anyways.
I played on an electric piano from when I was 3 to 14 (I'm 15 now) and I got to grade 8 standard in doing so. Mine was about ?150 (not sure what that is in dollars) and I got it from a second hand store. They're fine to learn on, but if and when you get a real piano you will feel the difference, mostly in the weight of the keys. I love my new piano, it's so much better than playing on an electric, but I do rate electric pianos very highly, and you can get a beautiful sound from them. Wouldn't recommend using a keyboard, depends on how serious you are about playing/learning. Good luck!
Q: All right I am frustrated. My keyboard is not working properly. Periodically, the s and d keys don't work, sometimes the . doesn't work when I press it, the shift key is not working properly like when I shift+s it gives me |S, sometimes when I press s it spits out #92;s, when I do shift+j, it deletes part of the paragraph I'm typing out. So I'm just having a bunch of issues with the keys now. My computer has never done this to me until the past 2 days. What is wrong? I don't know if it'll help telling you that still need to activate windows. A month and a half ago I got a student version of windows ultimate which was suppose for upgrade and right now the system is telling me I need to activate.
Try another keyboard. Try re installing the driver for the keyboard. it should not matter if its been activated or not. If the keyboard is acting up, its probably just the keyboard itself. the only option is to replace the keyboard
Q: I am proud that I can touch-type without staring at the keyboard very quickly.I have a plan to purchase a new PC keyboard. What keyboard should I purchase for my computer?Of course I think nothing of spending much money on purchasing one.Even if I purchased a PC keyboard for 400 US dollars, I'd not mind at all really.

Q: I have a wireless mouse and keyboard, but I can't seem to figure out how to disconnect just the keyboard. I tried taking the batteries out and just unplugging the whole thing all together but a plug in keyboard isnt working. PLease help me!
If you are trying to use a plug in keyboard make sure that your system setup utility is set to use that type of keyboard. When you first turn your computer on it should say press delete or press f-something to enter setup. Then check and see which keyboard types are enabled ps2 or usb. The wireless keyboard doesn't have to be used all the time and taking the batteries out will make it not work at all but the mouse will still work if you have the wireless receiver still plugged into you computer
Q: How to view the failure of the key part of the conductive plastic
?initiative to make the keyboard to play all the functions, but at least you can extend the life of common keys
Q: I want to learn to play the piano through internet like youtube but buying piano is too expensive, so I'm planning to buy electronic keyboard. Is that okay?If i learn how to play the electronic keyboard would that mean i can play the piano too?pls help. thanks :))
there is so much more dynamic range and touch and feel and sensitivity related issues related to how hard you touch the keys and what sound you get out of them when playing the real piano as opposed to a keyboard that i would start him on a real piano if he really wants to play. otherwise, if he shows talent and transitions to the piano afterwards, he will have issues with dynamics and soft vs. light touch on the keys and the different sounds they produce that it will be just like starting over and learning againhaving said that, there are alot of keyboards of there now that have touch sensitive dynamic keys.but, they are probably out of the price range that a beginner is going to lay out for an intial instrument. rent a piano from a store or dealer.it will be cheaper than buying one, he will get to learn on a real instrument with a real dynamic range and touch sensitive and percussive keys, and if he doesn't have it and gives it up, you can return the piano without having had to purchase one and then be stuck with it. and don't listen to the one above who says he's too young.it's the optimal time to get him started if he wants.i started on keys and guitar at 5 and then sax and clarinet at 7 and it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me.it will help his cognitive, hand/eye and analytical development more than anything else that you could do
Q: I have a wireless keyboard.Im also on a wireless network. Sometimes my keyboard, when I type, skips some letters. Has anyone ever experianced this problem. It only does it once in a while
If that is infrared, try cleansing off the sensor/transmitter. determine that your receiver (plugged into your laptop) had clean batteries too. If that doesn't help and the batteries have been replaced, you are able to ought to purchase yet another one. i offered my final one with mouse for around $30.
Q: Every once in awhile, my keyboard will completely stop working, as if it died. Then, I have to replug it in and it'll work like normal. Why does it stop working randomly? I could be doing nothing and it would die.
Maybe your keyboard is just Used and Abused. There may be something wrong with the connector. You probably should get a new keyboard if the problem is really severe
Q: I got a wireless keyboard. I switched the letters around so that I could use it as a Dvorak keyboard. Is it possible for me to use both keyboards. Not at the same time, but switch back and forth so that other people could use the laptop's keyboard and I can use the wireless.
If one keyboard is wireless connected and the other is wired, then you should be able to have both keyboards working at the same time. The computer might get a bit confused if the keyboard layouts are different, and you use the wrong keyboard for a particular language or keyboard layout setting. I have just connected a wireless keyboard to one of my XP PCs, which has a wired keyboard. I could type characters in on either keyboard without any problem. Even a wireless mouse and a wired mouse worked at the same time. The only issue might be if the receiver for the wireless keyboard plugs into a round wired keyboard socket. You might have to unplug one to plug in the other. I used a wireless keyboard with a USB receiver, while the main keyboard plugs in to the round socket. With the wireless mouse, the receiver was in one USB socket and the wired mouse was plugged into another USB socket. (My PC has 4 USB sockets.) I hope this helps.
