Q: If you are washing your hands, rinsing sink after brushing teeth, etc., the sink fills up with water. Does anyone know why this would happen? The only thing I can think of is that water covers the entire opening to the drain, and air cannot escape when water tries to move in.I have tried liquid de-clogging products, which seem to work a little, but the pipes are PVC, and pretty clean. I disassembled them and checked. Thanks!
The stopper might need adjusting, the over flow might be clogged and sink can't breathe
Q: Ive poured pounds of food particles down my kitchen sink, and I dont even have a in-sink grinder, and the sink never clogs. But one well-timed dump can clog the toilet like that. Why is that?
its true, hair etc, are the main culprits of stoppages in the bathroom, but remember, the difference between the kit & bath are open drains in the kitchen and a waterdrain stopper in the sinks in the bathrooms. the stoppers hang down into the trap area and usually catch hair etc and tend to clog it more often than the kitchen and open drains. note: just remove the stopper from the drain and clean the hair off the stopper every other month or sooner if necessary. clean the trap too. as for your toilet, they do not have traps in the lines...they are in the toilets themselves. lnote: if you are getting stoppage in the 3-4 lines for your sewer b4 it hits your kitchen sink area, its because you either have roots growing in the lines and the line may have cracked and therefore allowing the roots to penetrate the lines and when the waste is furthered with the toilet paper it grabs on to the roots and clogs the lines.. upled with the hair etc going down the bath sink; its a traffic jam. remedy: you need to roto-root the lines between the kitchen and the bathroom area. !!! if you notice a wet spot or lots of green grass growing outside the home in a particular spot, that may be the spot where the line is broken and you need to dig it up and repair the line.
Q: What is the size of the general household bathroom basin size
Look at the arrangements for the toilet to set, and now the basin are generally more than 90 cm, and then all are out of date
Q: Can you make a bathroom door?
Yes, but should pay more attention to waterproof, molded door waterproof is not very good, pay attention to, there is no matter, adopt me
Q: Do you want to send a faucet to the bathroom?
When buying, please ask whether the faucet,
Q: The water just sits in the sink for hours.
Hi there, You can go to a hardware store and (in the plumbing department) look for something called a sink auger also may be called a sink cleanout. This device is about two feet long and looks like a spring with a hook on the end. There will be instructions on the package but basically you just insert it into the drain and rotate. The hook on the end should loosen the clog or allow you to pull the clog out. If in doubt find a clerk and tell him/her what your problem is and ask for a recommendation. I would not try any of the liquid products that claim to dissolve clogs. Usually they do not work for me. If the sink auger does not work you can remove the p-trap under the sink and usually find something is stopping it up. It will be easy to unclog the trap once it has been removed. Hope this helps, Al
Q: My bathroom bathroom counter pots every time the switch when the ceiling will be issued bang sound is how is it?
The water pressure is too high
Q: I heard a crackling sound inside my bathroom. The next morning, a small section of my sink exploded. Broken sink parts all over the counter. The sink is not plastic and is not clear as glass. The sink material looks gray/black almost like chalk but extremely hard/brittle. Why did this happen? Thanks!
Hello. From your description it sounds like you sink is Porcelain. This may happen from time to time due to a small crack or other weakness. To fix it you need porcelain cement (found in any hardware store). Cement the pieces back together and let it dry. Then you're back in business.
Q: how do you fix a hole and crack in a Porcelain bathroom sink?
I wouldnt recommend fixing a porcelain sink as there may be further hidden damages you cant detect. Thats why toilets are always replaced when a crack appears. Considering people usually exert some force on sinks and the constant temperature fluctuations from water, hidden damage may suddenly cause the sink to further crack or face a catastrophic failure (shatters or falls apart causing property or personal damage). Porcelain sinks are pretty affordable these days and would be worthwhile for you to invest in a new one to reduce your risk. Please note if you do change the sink, you will need to replace or transfer the taps to the new model, a new strainer/PO and potentially some minor changes in your drainage.
Q: Toilet basin is built-in or external okay, what is the argument?
The bathroom basin is built with beautiful, but not well cleaned. Or a good external cleaning, but the table can not enter the basin of water. Its advantages and disadvantages
