Q: He is currently incarcerated at SCI Camp Hill, PA, awaiting reclassification to a quot;Homequot; facility. Getting him a subscription should wait until he's transferred to whatever facility he is assigned to for the balance of his time to be served.
I don’t know how long your grandson will be there I can only assume longer than one year. If his stay is less than one year would it not be easier to send a locally purchased copy from your post office? I also assume you want to send more than one magazine to your grandson, most magazines can be sent as gifts that will be charged to your credit card! That can be renewed if need be! To wait for his permanent location is a good idea as the magizine subscription needs an address to send to that is not temporary! Your grandson should get his current address upon transfer. If you live close enough to your grandson you can always hand carry the monthly issue on visiting days and give it to him that way!
Q: how can i get free coupons from lowes, home depot ect...?
you can buy 10% off coupons all day long from OKorder. They will cost you about 2.00
Q: I asked this in home gardening, but I think this is where it should be asked. I need a quick fix on how to ground outlets so as i can hook up my satalite receiver computers. Cant afford an electrician to rewire a rental, the landlord is no help.
This house must have been built pre world war two. I also believe that with all the electrical appliances that we use today, it's very passably could be a hazard to your health just living there. If you doubt these words, then I suggest that you talk to an electrician. A bonified Electrician, not just some handy man that is eager to share maybe what little knowledge that he may have. These old houses were not built to sustain computers, wide screen high def TVs, and salad shooters. If you know what I meen.
Q: I want to stretch a garden hose along the wall of my mobile home to keep it off the ground. What kind of hook do I need?
I okorder /
Q: how do i start a fruit and vegetable garden, my backyard is all grass?
There are several ways. I do it by scoring the turf with my shovel and then digging it up in squares. I dump on bagged topsoil mixed with my compost and then plant away! I use the turf to build walls and berms in other areas of my yard, or I compost it. I have also done another method where I layered wet newspaper, bagged composted cow manure and bark mulch, right on top of the grass, covered it with dark plastic and left it for one year. It made a beautiful 4 X 13 foot flowerbed and that's where I grow my roses.
Q: I was at a home party a couple years back where it was like a tupperware party, but with home decor items. It was very classy and gorgeous items, but for the life of me I cannot remember the company name... I want to get into selling home decor type items myself, and join a company to do it... but I can't seem to find any companies in Canads (Ontario) that are like this... cna you help me out?
Home Interiors used to be one, but they went bankrupt. Now they are called Home Garden I think.
Q: I've just started looking around for infomation about trees and growing zones. There are a few I'm intersted in finding out more about, but cant seem to find the infomation I'm looking for *prob because I'm not in the right gowing zone*.Anyway, does anyone have a good site in general about trees?I'm looking for information about Ebony Trees and growing them, I'm also looking for willow tree infomation, japanese maple infomation, and general tree care/planting.Thanks
Your best bet is to contact your local county extension office if you live in the US. What trees that grow well in your area depend on where you live and the elevation you live in. County extension offices are funded by state universities and are manned by volunteer trained in gardening or horticulture. Their services are free. Just google your county and then add extension office. Most have awesome websites, too, and free downloads of useful publications.
Q: what best philippine vegetables to plant in philippine garden at home?
well i think. runner beans.... because it has a nice flower and it can make ur garden nice or upo/winter melon or banna well bannana blossom is still vegetable........... thats all i can think of hehe
Q: suggested category...Home and Garden....pffff!
It's all mental, quit being stupid. If you want positive energy let it flow from your mind. or call ghostbusters.
Q: If you had a 4 foot by 8 foot patch for a garden, which plants would you want to have the most? Assume there is a seperate patch for tomatoes, and those don't need to be included.Thank you
If I were limited to a 4X8 patch I would want to grow things that produce well and store well, that would be high in nutritional value. Assuming vines would be allowed to sprawl or could be adequately supported I would plant winter squash and lima beans around the edges and, between them, a row of parsnips or sweet potatoes. For my winter crops I would plant a few collards, some turnips and some rutabagas, maybe some beets and either kale or kohlrabi in the tomato patch. Other than the kale and collards these can be stored for later use. If there is a freezer or the ability to can produce even they could be stored. Good luck and enjoy!
