- Q: Please let me know how I can get a coupon w/o openning a Credit card. Thanks, Hang.
- Here are a couple of links with some Home Depot coupons. There are some good ones available right now, and they are updated on a regular basis so check back often. Hope this helps!
- Q: I stopped to listen to a garden speaker at our County Fair last week. I was late didn't hear all he had to say, but he brought up the gardener's quot;Biblequot; several times. I over heard someone at the nursery say something about it too, more then once, but never paid attention before. All I know is it is suspost to be the best book on gardening. A must have for every serious gardener. I've checked at several book stores without luck. My neighbor told me that is not the right name, only the name everyone refers to it. But she didn't know the real name either. Does any one know the real name? I have got to have one. Thank You!

- Q: I'm fed up with constantly cleaning the droppings of these disgusting creatures. I want a way to get rid of them.At first their droppings didn't bother me since they weren't using any places i usually use.but now they've crossed the line when they started using my work desk and my BED as they're personal bathroom.it doesn't happen once then go away, i find their droppings on my Bed EVERY night or every time i've come home. worst part is, they'll even leave their droppings while i'm ON the bed. I could have my head turned away for a good 20 mins and when i turn back. oh look, a fresh, wet surprise on the edge of my bed or on one of my extra pillows.i don't want to here anyones quot;Oh, don't harm them. They help control the insect population.quot; crap. If i want to kill anyone bugs.I'll buy bug zappers, bug spray, poison powder, the works. I'll live in a house infested with roaches, rats, or spiders.but not these disgusting House Lizards/Geckos
- Get ahold of yourself! These are pet lizards. Not everybody knows how disgusting they are. They will want them as pets. But you gotta take something to make you cool. Then place your ad. I don't recommend trying to get any money for them though, somehow.
- Q: Some of my friends and I would like to start a small garden in our backyard. We live in California in the Bay Area, just for extra reference. We'd like to know this:1.) How do we get started?2.) What are some of the easiest vegetables and fruits to plant? (we were thinking lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, or maybe some herbs like thyme or sage)3.) Should we know something about seasons/time of year to plant?4.) How would be then maintain our garden?I'll give BEST ANSWER to the person who answer all these questions in a bit of detail.THANK YOU GUYS/GALS IN ADVANCE!
- Start at the book store,,,, SQAURE FOOT GARDENING. Tons of information on how to pack the most, in the smallest space, for the largest yeild. They even discuss the different types of plants, and which ones yeild the most. Also, look at starting an herb garden. Hey, they don't take up much space, and can make your store bought vegitables come to life on your plate. And have you priced good herbs and spices lately. YIKES.
- Q: Terrace garden decoration, how economical and practical?
- Make our terrace garden to achieve ecological, environmental and economic benefits of the three effective combination
- Q: just bought a brand new home and i have no clue about gardening. Pls advise on how to get started
- Where do you live? Which Zone? You need to find out. Also, you need to observe how much sun your perspective garden gets each day. The north side of your house will be in the shade most of the day, for instance. The term evergreen technically applies to any plant, bush, shrub or tree that stays green all year round. So, you need to be more specific. Do you want a green bush all year long, or do you want flowers? How hot does it get and how cold where you live? Go to your local nursery. They'll be glad to help you.
- Q: I have a little home garden not too big, n i want to grow some beautiful flowers in it. specially roses.. what to do ? what is the proceedure?
- first go to home depot or a nursery and pick some pots and potting soil, i recommend Kellogg's patio plus soil. Then you want to buy some bone meal and put some in the pot full of soil. dig a hole in the pot and put some bone meal on the sides of the hole and the bottom of the hole. put whatever kind of rose into the pot and cover it real nice. then, put it in the garden for everyone to see what a nice job you did.
- Q: How do you get clients?
- You could do some volunteer work for a few people, and/or offer some gardening services at a local garden club; make some flyers and hang them up on blackboards at laundries, supermarkets, etc. A free ad paper would take it as well. Try to get some references, even one or two would do; offer to help people get their gardens ready for autumn and winter.
