And it's very likely the rinky-dink carpet cleaners you rent won't work either, but you could try one before calling in professional carpet cleaners who use heavy-duty machines to clean carpets with. - Yes, you can wash bathroom rugs. But make sure you do it on the gentle cycle. It might say also delicate cycle or handwashables. That's how I always washed mine and then dryed it and it turned out fine. But this weekend I put it in the normal cycle (which spins kind of fast), and then when I went to take it out and to put it in the dryer, the sides were torn apart. Haha. It was kind of funny, any way it was time to get a new one, since I had that one for like 4 years. So now I bought a new one. Hope this helped.
