- First determine if they are hurting anything. If they are true crane flys they will go a way soon. If they are not hurting anything I would not treat them. If you want to identify exactly what they are capture some and take them to you County Extension agent and he/she will be able to tell you what they are and if they pose a danger to you and your family.
- Q: i have a 83 camaro crane cam 305 v 8 4brrl edelbrock carb and i just changed the carb from a quadrajet to the edelbrock....but i cant seam to get it running right as long as im out on the highway it runs great but when i stop at a stop light i have to rev it up to keep it running..i changed the plugs plug wires and the distributor but i heard you have to have a different kind of distributor to change from the quareajet ( will all of the plug in and stuff to a regular edelbrock carb..is this true??
- Is the edelbrock carb new or used? You may have a defective carb if used and needs to be rebuilt. If you reinstall the q-jet, does the problem go away?? good luck......

- White Crane, Whooping Crane*, Hsing/Xing Yi, Shaolin Monk Fist*, are all 'known' influences of Okinawan martial arts. However it should be noted that there are over 1,000 years of contact between the Ryukyu islands and China starting in the late 600's*. So there are many, many possible influences of Okinawan martial arts. Goju Ryu was heavily influenced by White Crane, namely because of Xie Zhongxiang (Ryuru Ko) who taught Higaonna Sensei his altered system of Whooping Crane Kung Fu. Goju Ryu was also influenced by Shaolin Monk Fist, and Baguazhang, when Miyagi Sensei spent his time in China in the Fuzho Province (also Fujian). The linear style that you are looking for comes from the Shaolin influence. There's a great person to ask any questions on Goju Ryu on here. His sn is nwohioguy, and he is quite knowledgeable. EDIT - To satisfy your hunger for the Tiger Style and it's involvement in Karate's development, I will offer this. Tiger was a style taught at the Shaolin Temple so it may have some influence. Even though many different styles have had influence throughout the years, the most notable are the White Crane of Shaolin and Hsing Yi. Shotokan is of similar origins as Goju Ryu with Sokon/Bushi Matsumura studying White Crane as well in China, and Ankoh Itosu studying under him. Those two trained Gichin Funakoshi who formulated Shotokan from that while in Japan. EDIT - Yup, I'd have to second Shihan J about Okinawan Karate being influenced by more than just China. This will allow you to grab ahold of the head or neck and pick the animal up. I've found the easiest cranes to win on are the ones that you pick up beanie baby sized stuffed toys. They seem to win, every time you aim the crane to pick up the head or neck. It's a great way to rack up a lot of stuffed animals. While they may not be huge prizes they are reasonable ones, and some of them are pretty cute.
