- i aint trained in kungfu but i have studied it... im a karate practitioner and abit of a boxer. one day i was bored and looking up martial arts then i came across kungfu... it was very interesting looking it up. Theres over 300 styles of kungfu. some styles of kungfu represent a animal. For example... you got crane kungfu... if you know what a crane is, its a type of bird... strong on its legs, well balanced... goes with the flow, elegent. Crane kungfu practitioners have strong perfect balance... just like the crane. You got snake kungfu... just like a snake, it looks at there prey and attacks very accurutly... the speed of the snake bite is so fast, you might not even see it coming. So with snake kungfu practitioners... they are swift like a snake, smooth... Theres tiger kungfu... just like a tiger... vicious, focused... they attack there prey, strong... hard. Theres monkey kungfu... not sure about that one. but thats some styles i know... theres other styles like jeet kun do (the way of the intersepting fist)... drunken boxing ect... this is some of what i know... oh yh theres anouther style called the praying mantis... looks very good. so inconclusion... most of the animal styles of kungfu represent the animal in a certain way... which makes kungfu spark out for me. hoped this helped :)

- Q: I saw this documentary on ancient buildings like the pyramids and it said that we don't have a construction crane that can life the stones used to build some of these ancient structures.So I gotta wonder how much the strongest crane CAN lift....or is that just fantastical nonsense about cranes not being able to lift those blocks?
- Those stones are small compared to what cranes can lift. I did find this Liebherr the heavy equipment company have developed a new all terrain nine axle mobile crane that is the worlds most powerful. The Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 has a maximum lifting capacity of 1,200 tons with its powerful 100 metre (328 ft) telescopic boom. another: Deira City Centre was the crane’s first lift as it assisted in completing the work in less than 30 hours in what would have otherwise taken an approximate 20 days. The monster machine can lift up to 1,200 tonnes and cover an area over 100m wide. The operational weight is 96 tonnes and the total counterweight is 202 tonnes. Average weight of the stones in the Great pyramid is 2.5 tonnes. So either of those cranes could lift over 400 of these at once.
- Q: Where i live i get a damn lot of these come in my house.... I usually just leave them unless there are too many. This was before i was told that they are in fact one of the most venomous creatures on the planet. I laughed, but then was told the same by a friend.Im now Little worried about them coming near me. I understand they have no ability to sting but still... Should i worry about them flying around my house? - Most probably you are referring to the Tower Crane. Interesting questions should have followed, like: How is it constructed while the construction is in progress? How is the placement of the Tower Crane determined? What happens to the space occupied by the Tower Craneafter work completion? How far should the 'boom' (the arm that has a moving pulley) go? Anyway, your question is a good one, because when I had my first construction work, the Tower Crane was already there and I was thinking of how to dismantle it afterwards. The dismantling process, is done part by part, set by set starting from the top going down. Another interesting question is: How would that excavating truck or bulldozer be able to get out of that deep matt excavation after all excavation works have been accomplished? It is interesting to note that an earth ramp is created while excavation progress, until the machine is down deep in the excavation and seems that it is impossible for it to get out after excavation work is done?
