Q: i pods,cameras,nentendos, ect
I can say from personal experience that the above answers are wrong in places, 2 different airlines had no problem with wireless gaming between Nintendo DS, we made sure we checked first. Plane didn't fall out the sky either. Just because you were given permission and nothing happened doesn't mean that the answers given thusfar are wrong. In the US, the FAA must approve the usage of portable electronic devices above aircraft -- they have not approved the usage of most devices that send or transmit signals (with the exception of certain devices that can connect to the Internet on those planes that have wireless Internet access). Further, I'd almost guarantee that, had you told them you were actually going to be using your DS for wireless gaming that would send signals between the two, they'd have said no. (The likelier scenario is that you just asked if it was okay to use them, not mentioning the part about the wireless gaming between the two devices.) Anyone who has said that electronics may be carried onboard, but certain ones cannot be used at all during the flight, is correct. Additionally, most airlines prohibit the usage of any electronic devices during taxi, takeoff, and landing, even if they allow them to be used during the rest of the flight.
Q: I understand that the frequencies emited from cell phones can interfere with the electrical equipment in ICU's; however, why can't patients have regular phones in ICU's; regular chord phones shouldn't emit frequencies or do they?
interesting question. you are right regular phones do not/should not emit frequencies that would interfere with any equipment.as far as I know I do not know why you are not allowed a phone in your ICU, I have always had a phone link immediately.and that was in ICU as well how else is family supposed to stay in touch? I do not believe that it is dis-allowed as a general rule you might want to double check the reason the dr/hospital staff gave you. hope this helps to answer the question good luck
Q: does it or not losers??
Brass is used in a lot of electrical equipment because it is a good conductor of both heat and electricity and is hard wearing and does not corrode quickly in many environments. The pins on electric plugs and their corresponding sockets in the wall outlet are usually made of brass. Martin
Q: I am a commercial real estate appraiser and I oftentimes need to be specific about the electrical service available within a building. I can read the service panel(s) and total the various amps volts, but I don't know what is relevant to report. For example, I recently inspected a very large industrial building and all of the service panels combined had a total of 30,000 amp, and I also noted that it had a 3-phase unit. Is that relevant to report that is was 30,000 amp, 3-phase service? Should I also report the voltage? Should it read: 30,000 amp/### volt 3-phase service. In the future, can I just read the service panel(s) and total the numbers? Just because a panel says 4000 amps, does that mean it actually has 4000, or that it can handle that many amps?I know that's allot of questions, but any help that I can get would be helpful. Thanks!
I believe that the sum of the individual service panels can exceed the service capacity of the building just as the sum of the individual circuit breakers in a panel can exceed the capacity of the panel. It is allowable to assume that not every load will be using power at the same time. Near the meter, there should be a master circuit breaker or set of fuses that determine the ampere rating of the service to the building. In a large industrial facility, that location may accessible only to qualified personnel, and you may need to ask a qualified person to give you a description. You should state the voltage, number of phases and current or KVA available at the meter location. For a large facility, you may want to itemize the ratings of panels serving major spaces and/or verify that all major spaces have the same voltage and number of phases available. For large industrial facilities, you should also determine if the utility or the customer owns major outdoor electrical equipment that is on the property.
Q: I am doing a project on electronic baton.I want it to look exactly like baton used by professional orchestra conductor.I stored the electronic components inside the handle of the baton. The problem is the space is very limited. The maximum diameter of the handle only about 18 mm.I need to choose a battery that also stored inside the handle.I want the battery that could work for long time. However what I can see the coin battery that is small only have small energy in it.It will only last for less than 1 hour.It is not good for new product. What can I do to maximize amount of energy so baton can work for longer time? ideally 10+hours or minimum of 5 hours and can fit inside small handle.I dont want to use external power cable.Hope you guys can help me.Really appreciated all of your helps.
what i can't believe is that you've found a gyroscope, microcontroller, and bluetooth circuitry to fit in there - please tell us the manufacturer and part numbers for your parts - i would love a microcontroller that small - not to mention bluetooth
Q: A. Lockout/Tagout involves placing a physical lock and a tag on electrical equipmentB. Lockout/Tagout is necessary prior to working on electrical equipmentC. Lockout/Tagout is intended to ensure that electricity is not returned to the equipment by anyone until it is safe.D. Lockout/Tagout is to be used only in extreme cases of potential electrical hazard.
D is not true - a lock out tage is used whenever applying electricity to the circuit would result in dangerous conditions. When repair work is being done on the circuit equipment for example. Lock out tage are used for more then just electrical too.
Q: can an odd electrical field produce a link with the energy of those said to be at rest?can a electrical field be contained a directed within ones body.have you ever experienced truelly odd static or electrical fenomena around you?
You need extreem controle to keep thie on only one of the deciest.
Q: I need some opinions on why do we recycle, computers, tv, cellphones, etc.I know it saves the environment because if we throw it away, it would just end up in landfills but is there anymore reasons?
There is all sorts of chemicals and heavy metals in the electronics. They are recycled to keep them from leeching into the water and environment. For some materials, it means that they can simply be re-processed, instead of extracting more raw materials and refining them.
Q: Examples include-Unplug your wireless router for 30 seconds and then plug back inUnplug all elerical cords for 45 seconds then plug back inWhy do they recommend a specific amount of time?
Most things today have a computer in them of some sort and sometimes things just get messed up inside them. Unplugging them allows them to reset to factory standards and they usually work after that. I never wait a specific time like they say. Usually 5 seconds at most is enough to reset everything. They tell you longer times to cover their bases and in rare cases it may need that much time. Most electronics have a transformer in the plug, that's why its bigger than a normal plug and it takes a little bit to use the electric stored in them.
We absorb the advanced international technology, and our main products include all kinds of switch power supplies. Relying on superior quality, excellent service, prompt delivery and competitive price, our products are selling well all over the world.
