- Q: Ever since I was a little kid I could tell when there is a T.V on in a house when I walk by. I get this feeling inside like I can sense the signal or something with my brain. When I walk closer to the T.V the feeling gets stronger. - yes. it really depends on your age and hearing but the tv transmits a signal with a very very high pitched squeak when turned on which can be heard by young humans with very good hearing. I always know when the tv is on even when the screen is all black and i go to turn it off and my parents look at me like im psychic. its funny.
- Q: I want to know if it would be feasible to make exercise equipment (like a bike, treatmill, stair stepper, etc.) that would produce a small amount of electricity when used. - hi , this is absolutely possible, if a mobile requires only around 5 volts output adapter for charging, this means we in turn loose energy by steping the 240 v to 5 volts, so by using an instrument causing electromagnetic flux of 7.6 volts, which will give net output of 5 volts ( with ac derater ) , we can easily save th energy at least required for mobile charging, many more apllications can be done, a simple very simple apllication would be moving vheicles, like , dyanamos, charge the batteries fitted in side the vheicle it self and in the same manner we can have two batteris, and one will be a overflow battery, the cars, truks, and other large vheicles, daily moving at least hundreds of kilometers can produce, and store lot of energy, and save in national wealth,

- Q: I want to wire all my regular recepticles with #10 wire which I know I can use 30 amp breakers with. Does anyone carry 30 amp 120 volt recepticles or can I use the 20 amp recepticles? I can't get anyone at Home Depot in the electrical department to answer the phone. Best answer with a link to this item (if it exists) gets ten points. Please not a lowes link. - No, they do not make a general purpose receptacle that is rated 30 amps, 15 and 20 amps only. If for some unknown reason you must install 30 amp receptacles, you'll have to use a receptacle with a different configuration. I guess if you have a house full of dryers and nothing else it would work.
- Q: Do you find batteries die faster than they should, light bulbs flicker or go out too quickly, electrical equipment does werid stuff or dies sooner than it should. (If you don't believe in vampires, this question is not directed at you.)I suspect it's more of a psi-vamp than sang problem, but I'm currious. When I enlisted Open General back in 1975 I was originally slated to be an Altitude Chamber Specialist (now Aerospace Physiology 4M031) but missed the training start date and instead was sent to Aeromedical Specialist (now Aerospace Medical Service 4N031) school. It was then part of the School of Aerospace Medicine at Brooks AFB in San Antonio. I spent about a month in casual at Lackland doing menial tasks during the day awaiting the start of my tech training. I was fortunate as the job I got involved working in the Flight Surgeon's Office. - When you turn off modern Tvs from the remote, it will go to standby mode, there's still electricity on the circuit enough for the memory to remember your settings, like volume, time, the channel you've last watch before turning it off. When you turn off the switch from the wall or unplugging it, the Tv is now completely disconnected from the power source. You may loose personal settings, and when you plug it back on then it may function in the default settings. Leaving it plugged has advantages but surge, lighting, sudden voltage changes may damage it. So when you'll be out for days then unplug it from the AC outlet to play safe.
