Q:The cylinder is in the power cable about 2 inches from the connection to the laptop and is about one half inch diameter by one inch long. Does it serve an electronic function or is it just a mechanical assist device?
It's called a choke. It's used to filter out unwanted radio interference.
Q:There are a few thin cables running from the power button on your computer onto the motherboard. What are these cables called?
It's not important to call them with a specific name. These are also cable. If your power button's cable is broken or damaged anyhow, you can change it by restart button. Just unplug the restart button's cable plug them in Power switch. Now your restart button is your power Switch
Q:I am looking to replace a broken power cable for my DigiTech RP1000 guitar effects board, but I am curious as to whether I need to find a cable specifically for this device, or if I can look up any cable with an output of 9V AC; 1.3 Amps.
What you are calling a cable is actually a transformer: high voltage AC in, low voltage AC out. If you can get a 9V transformer rated at 1.3A or more then electrically it should work. What the connector will be on it is anybody's guess.
Q:the cable for my psp wont plug all the way in anymore so i cant charge it. nothing has happened to the psp. it wasnt dropped or anything, just sat on the table. same with the power cord.anyone else have this problem and if so what did u do about it.and if your thinking about saying quot;contact sonyor anything like that...just leave. i can figure that out for myself ok.
MMMM. im not sure i think you might need to buy a new one if you try to force it in you might break something
Q:Can anyone explain where I need to plug in the 6-pin cable for my ATI Radeon 1650 Pro graphics card? Or any pictures/diagrams? Thanks!
my PSU came with that adapter :P
Q:Will the wire and cable industry belong to the power industry? The
Insulated piercing clamp is mainly composed of reinforced shell, puncture blade, gasket, waterproof grease, high strength bolts, torque nut and cable terminal cap. When the cable needs to be branched or connected, the cable branch line terminal is inserted into the waterproof terminal Cap sets, to determine the main line branch position, with a socket wrench screw clamp on the torque nut, the process of contact with the blade will pierce the cable insulation, contact with the conductor, the sealing ring ring around the cable puncture position, the shell Grease overflow, when the torque reaches the set value, the nut torque mechanism off, the main line and branch line is connected, and waterproof performance and electrical effects to meet the standard requirements of the parameters. T-shaped terminal is composed of insulation base, wiring frame, fire shield composed of three parts, wiring box by the wire clip, screws, nuts and variable frame and other components, wiring clip and wire contact surface was wrapped in the shape of the dentoid staggered structure, With a large area of ??spinous process, pressure line reliable features. Through the different shapes of the wire combination of each other, can form a double connection, the lower access to the main line, the upper access to the branch line, the formation of continuous "T" -shaped connection, the product is a protective cover, especially suitable for cable trays and cable And other small places to use, can effectively prevent the suffering of the mouse on the line.
Q:in the specs it says the power supply doesn't have a pci-e connector?Does that mean i cant use the video card, or is there a way I dont know? Please help.Thank you very much
Okay, right off the bat I see a problem with that power supply. Aside from not having a pci-e connection it states it doesn't work with SLI or Crossfire (i.e. Nvidia or ATI). Since you're wanting to get a GeForce card, which works with a mobo with an Nvidia chipset, you'd need a more up-to-date power supply. Second - that card uses 18 amps on the 12-volt rail, and according to the specs on that power supply it runs up to 16 or 17 amps, so the power supply you're looking at isn't powerful enough to support the card. My advice - first make sure your mobo has an Nvidia Chipset. Second, spend a bit more and get a better power supply, and check the voltage - you need at least 18 amps on the 12-volt for that card.
Q:I recently purchased a new power cable for my HP laptop (v6000 series) due to the disappearance of my old one. When I first plugged in the laptop, I noticed that it did not charge. I thought this might just be due to the fact that the battery has been dead for an extensive amount of time, but after leaving the computer plugged in over night, nothing has changed. What can I do to make my laptop's battery charge?Do I need to have a more powerful power cable?Thank you all for your help.
I also have issue with laptop. I posted my problems on wish123 and got an excellent advise from an expert. I highly recommend the website!
Q:I moved to another country and my computer arrived without the cord that goes from the power supply unit to the wall (aka I can?t turn it on). The PSU in question is a Corsair 750W Unit. I tried searching for independent cables but as expected no one sells them. Contacting the manufacturer is too much of a pain. I was wonder, could I find special generic cables that would work with the PSU? Not necessarily by the manufacturer. Thank you.
(link defaults to 1foot, but id recommend a 6foot cable at the minimum, as 1-3 feet can be very limiting.) If using more then 1000W of power, you will need a cable capiable of it. one above is rated at 10A, and given psu efficiency (rounding way down for very inefficient ones) you should be able to get like 900-1000W+ from it w/o any worry. (that doesnt mean using a 1000W psu.. im talking about pulling 1000W+ from the wall, and unless you have like 3 gtx titans running at 100% .)
Q:Yjv22 what is the core of the cable? Copper core or aluminum core?
sure. Take the ground pipe is to be from the floor under the brick. But the late completion of the drawing to be accurate, so that the next time to repair the line can not find the location. Want to answer to help you.
