BLACK ANNEALED WIRE
Black annealed wire is made of high-quality iron wire, mainly used as tie wire or binding wire in construction work.
We produce the annealed wire with high quality low carbon raw materials through wire drawing, anneal process. Its soft and has good stretching resistance. The finished products are smeared with slushing oil. So they are not apt to rust. We can tie up the products according to customers requirements, ranged from1 to 50 kg each bundle. And we can also make the annealed wire into U type carbon steel wire, straight cut wire etc.

It is mainly used as tie wire or binding wire in construction.

Standard specification: Wire diameter from 0. 229mm-4. 19mm

Packing: Generally inner plastic and outer flax, of course, we can also pack according to our customers' requirements.

Material:carbon steel wire

Surface:  Black annealed soft wire without oil

Diamter:  16ga,16.5ga,17ga,18ga

Tensile strength:30--50kgs/mm2

Packing:  3.5lbs,3.125lbs,2.5lbs or 3lbs

16 coils or 20 coils per carton

24 cartons or 36 cartons or 48 cartons per pallet

Q:Ok You know the speaker wires that go to the back of the subwoofer? The metal part that comes out of the wire came out of the wire, and it makes a funny sound or no sound at all. How can I fix this? Also, I cut the wire and put the copper wires into the subwoofer, it works so so, any sugestions? lew
If it's a RCA type jack, just buy a new cable. Your method would normally work, but you really need a good solid connection. You can get a RCA cable crimper, which would allow you to attach a new RCA jack to the cable...but the kit will cost you as much as a new cable. Personally, I'd just buy a new cable.
Q:i have two 12 gauge wires running from my battery to my sub amplifier, does this effectivly mean i have 6 gauges. each wire has a 15 amp fuse so does that also mean i have a 30 amp fuse?
Id say run 3 strands minimal because sometime it says its a certain gauge but there is not much wire inside, and to add the the 2X 12gauge = 9 gauge use 3 strands.. better chance of working right.
Q:wire colors and funtions
go okorder and click on vehicle wiring. Then click on your cars info... you can use this for almost any car not just this project but your next project as well
Q:running wire from wall out let to a on and off switch and then to another outlet
What is your problem ? i can be contacted at johnd_82@yahoo
Q:How can I repair an enamel coated headphone wire? In other words, how can an enamel coated wire be reconnected; i.e. how is the enamel coating stripped off, and what can I use to recoat it so that it won't short?
Strip off the coating to expose bare metal where you would to slice (reconnect) new wires. Twist them or soldier them together. The wires will not short unless they come in contact with electricity-conducting materials, including human flesh. Hardware stores sells paint just for wires, but you don't have to go such extremes. Just put some tape it or cover it with any other non-conductive materials.
Q:I think I have heard about flat cable wires?maybe even flat electrical wires.where you can hide them behind a base board.is this true?what are they called/thx
There okorder and didn't see it, but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. I'm not sure if they still make it.
Q:trying to install a 7 inch dvd,cd player but do not know what all the wire colors mean , some1 has cut off the harness now all i got is a bunch of strange colored wires , it has 2 reds and many other odd color wires
I'd okorder /installbay/foru... zxc
Q:Please help. I am trying to fit a new light into a house with old wiring. My new light just has a connection block with 1 blue wire and 1 brown wire. When I removed the old light there are 5 wires coming from the ceiling. 1 black and 1 red coming from one lead and 1 black and 1 red coming from the other. Any ideas how I wire this up. Many thanks.
You have very old wiring if you only have 2 pairs of black and red wires in the ceiling. A modern installation will contain a third pair and also have green/yellow (or bare copper) earth conductors too. The following instructions will make your light work but you should get your wiring checked as soon as possible to bring it up to modern safety standards. One of the cables in the ceiling is carrying your supply current from the fuse box, the other is coming from the switch. You must connect the red wires together with a secure plastic joint block. This will send Live current down to the switch. Connect one of the blacks to the blue wire in the light fitting. This will make the Neutral connection to the light. Connect the other black to the brown wire of the light fitting. This will be the Live connection from the switch. If you have any green and green/yellow wires then you must connect these together because they are the earths. Make absolutely sure that you thoroughly insulate your joint blocks with electricians tape before you secure the fitting to the ceiling.
Q:I bought a new ceiling light and wired it myself. But I cheated by just copying the wiring from the old bracket into the new one. I want to do the other ceiling lights in my home. Supplied with the lights I am using is a 3 - way bracket (sori if terminology is wrong). Anyway the old bracket I copied was 4 way. My lights are wired from the mains supply with 3 live wires, 3 neutrals, and 3 positives. The light unit only has one live/neutral/positive wire. What do I do with the extra mains supply wires? I hope I have made myself clear as I even I am confused. Many thanks.
Sounds like you have extra wires that are feeding other outlets or lights.
Q:The resistivity of a 18.0 m long wire is 3.76E-8 Ω.m and its cross sectional area is 6.52E-6 m2. If the wire carries a current of 1.44 A, what is the voltage across the wire?
R = ( rho x l)/A Where: R is the resistance, rho the resistivity, l the length and A the area Resiatance of wire = (3.76 x 10^-8 x 18)/6.52 x 10^-6 R = 0.1038 Ohms Voltage across wire = current through wire x resistance of wire V = I x R V = 1.44 x 0.1038 V = 0.14947 V = 0.15 Volts
