I would also highly suggest you not using another charger that is not built for your laptop. This my damage internal hardware and is not cheap to get fixed. Whenever there is someone who comes into the store asking for charger help, I redirect them to TopMic. If you google them, their site should pop up. There are different types of chargers, and different types of batteries. Full charge can take anywhere from 1 hour to 12 hours, depending on which charger and which batteries you have. The same answer applies to the second part of your question, anywhere from 1 to 4 hours.
