FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.
- Q: I have a compaq presario nb.(raising my hand) computer idiot here.
- You didnt give us the model number of your notebook. However, some notebooks now are coming out with card readers built in. (I am currently using a Medion MD42200 that has a multi card card reader built into the side of the machine) If your notebook has them they will be located on either the sides or the front of the unit. Look for slots that would fit a CF card or SD or Memory stick. If you cant find them, check the user manual for the notebook,. This will show you what ports and connections you have on your notebook as well as show you a picture of where they are located.
- Q: I need any information regarding the use and functionality of these device/s
- SIM card readers are generally used to back up your data. Certain Networks' SIMs are security embedded so you cannot transfer your contacts from one handset to another easily. Therefore SIM card readers are perfect for this. Some use Excel format and you simply plug the device into a USB port and it saves a file of names and numbers for you to use as back up. You can edit the file and if you have more than 1 phone you can keep a record just in case you lose or damage your SIM in the future. It is best practise to buy one (they are about ?10, $20) and at least this way, if your handset plays up and has to be re-flashed then your numbers will be safe.
- Q: I had been to a tarot card reader who gave me accurate details of my life. Now for me to get married to a guy a spell has to be performed, how much should i trust the card reader. how to know if the card reader is genuine enough?Non believers please excuse. i need real help.
- like it or not this is real help this tarot card reader can not tell you what is in the future, he/she can guess, they can extrapolate but the truth is they have no more ability to see into the future than you or me its your life there are no easy get out clauses you have to choose your path as we all do by all means take advice but you have to make up your own mind about what you should do anything else is just a cop out
- Q: I have no card reader, but need to put pictures back on memory card for my digital picture frame. I use a mac and no mouse, any ideas how to?
- the only way you can use any memory type card to connect to your pc is a card reader (biult-in or seprate) else if you have a digital camera or phone or sth like this which its card slot and your card is same the you might be able to use that as card reader and connect that to your computer using USB cable ,bluetooth
- Q: Hey guysSo I can't get my Acer laptop's built in card reader to read my2Gb Sandisk Ultra II card. It's not locked and its the same size as my Canon SDC-32M card which it reads without a problem. Could this be because of the big size of the card? Also although the mouse uses USB when i try to connect my camera to the same USB port, or any other for that matter, it doesn't appear and i'm not sure why. Any help? Thanks
- A computer can see any size card,,,,,,only phones and other small equipment is limited to 2gb because it is written with bit and not sector,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Did you format the card,,if you did it might not see it now,,,,,,,,
- Q: I just bought a 1G Transcend Micro SD card for my Cricket phone. When I put the card in my phone, it works fine. I bought it to put music on it, and when I put the SD card in it's adapter into my laptop's SD slot, it doesn't show up! When I remove the card I see drive F: show briefly and disappear.Thing is, the card works in my roommate's laptop, and her phone's card works in my laptop's card reader! What the hell is going on?
- If your phone came with a USB cable, try using that cable and connect the phone to your laptop, you should be able to put music on the phone. It will usually show up as two different drives (e.g. I: and J:), one for your phone, one for the card. You may have to install software (e.g. Nokia PC Suite for a Nokia brand phone).
- Q: I bought a sony memory stick pro duo and a digital card reader and im trying to upload pictures from it on to my computer but i cant seem to figure out how to,am i doing something wrong?
- Something that may or may not be the problem is whether (or how well) a Memory Stick Pro Duo fits the reader. Sometimes they don't. Each Memory Stick Pro Duo comes with a Memory Stick adapter in the package. Insert your MS Pro Duo into that, and then insert that into the reader. See if that makes it fit or work better.
- Q: i just bought a card reader for my sdhc because the one on the computer could only read sd, and i put it in and it gets me no where, it is usb powered and i have window xpwhats goin on?
- The SD card should have a movable tab in the corner to lock/unlock the card. If the card is locked, you can read from it, but not copy to it or format it. If that doesn't work, I would exchange it for a different card reader.
- Q: I have an HP Pavilion Slimline s7500y desktop computer that has a card reader. For some reason the card reader isn't reading the cards. I have had to use the USB port with an external card reader to read my SD cards. I had an issue with the sound but luckily I was able to fix that issue. Someone told me to download this driver tool but it's garbage. Thanks for the help in advance. I really appreciate it.
- Sense I don't know what Operating system you have installed click the link I provided down in source Select you OS then find your Card reader Driver, Download install! If you would like you can tell me what OS you have installed by going to Start, control panel, system look to see what your OS is if it's 32 or 64 Bit I will direct you directly to the drive you need to make sure you get the right one! Ok click new link, then click on Software - Multimedia (WITCH IS THIRD FROM BOTTOM), the Driver you’re looking for is Sonic Digital Media Plus/Deluxe Application Update. Now I’m not sure if this is the driver for your Media Reader, I'm going to do some research to figure this out if this does not work for you! If that's not the right one does not correct your issue then I'm for sure the second link in source is what you’re looking for. Not sure why HP would build a laptop with a media Card reader not offer the Driver, makes not logical sense to me but then again I now realize why I hate the HP/Compaq brand.
- Q: I use a card reader instead of a usb cable to put photos on my computer. When I plug in the card reader, the light blinks a few times, but the photos never load. What can I try.
- In order. I'm going to assume that ou know that you need to go to My computer (and that your are on windows) and then find the drive letter that represents the card reader. If the drive does not show up in My Computer, it might be because the reader is trying to use a drive letter that is already being used so you'll need to Right-click My Computer Click Manage Click Disk Management and find the device that represents your card reader then Right-Click the device Click Change Drive Letter and select a new, unused, letter. If that's not the problem then 1- Try using a USB cable on your camera to see if it's the reader or if it's the card. (if that works go to #3 if not ) 2- Try plugging your camera into a different USB slot. 3- Try plugging your reader into another USB slot. 4- Try another USB card reader. 5- Take your card to one of thgose photo printing booths and try it there. 6- Your card is dead give up.
