FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q: I recently got a micro sd card with a t flash card reader. Every time I click on the removable disk it freezes for a sec and asks to be reformatted, I click yes and then it says it can't reformat it. What am I doing wrong?
Your card must be bad. Setting it near a magnet, getting it wet, or dropping it could have ruined the chip inside of the card. If I were you, I would return the card to the manufacturer and get a new one. Memory cards shouldn't have to be reformatted like that at all.
Q: I volunteer for an organization that provides free service. The organization keeps track of those who enter and use our services. When they enter they have to sign so we can keep a head count on all those that use our service. I am seeking a way where they can enter swipe there ID (drivers license, military id, DOD id etc.) It must be a method that only the name is retrieved and at most in connection to military their unit. no other information is needed. It needs to be able to be databased to retrieve later. What I am looking for is what simple hardware will I need. For example will a CAC reader work for multiple ID types. Also is there a free software that I can use with the ID reader to maintain the database. I am just looking for something simple to keep head count so not looking for something that cost much. It is strictly for a volunteer serves to help improve our service to those that use it. any links to free software and any hardware that may be needed would be great.
There are all kinds of solutions for your situation. The hardware ranges from less than $20.00 for a simple USB scanner, to over $500.00 for a mountable, slide-in, network ready scanner. Some of the hardware comes bundled with software. It really depends on what your needs and budget are. At a minimum, you will need to get a reader that can read the PDF417 barcode. If you get a smart-card reader, make sure it also reads PDF417 barcodes.
Q: i have several memory cards from a canon i bought years ago, well, i bought the rebel xti because i figured i'd save money on memory cards, i put it in, and the camera works fine. i plugged my Sandisk memory card reader in and my computer picked up that it was plugged in, but once i plugged in the card itself, my computer wouldn't read it anymore. i put in other cards, ones with pictures i took from another camera, and it worked fine. so i can only assume it has something to do with the camera itself or the files. can anyone help me out, is there anything i can do to make this work?if it helps, it's not really a rebel xti, it's the kiss digital x, which is the same thing. i know vista has problems with things, could it be vista, my computer has a built in reader, but it doesn't have a slot for the cf memory card. it only reads sd and smaller.(thats why i was using a different reader)
You will have to have it fixed. Call Canon at 800-OK-CANON and ask for an estimate of what it would cost. Don't try to fix it yourself or you will just make it worse.
Q: I was wondering how can I upload music onto my micro SD memory card. I bought a used Nokia 5300, which uses an micro SD memory card, and I have no idea how to upload music on it- If I get one of those card reader/writers, would that work?Help!
yes scorpion is right,i use my micro sd memory card to upload and download music.
Q: i,m trying to getb the pictures from the micro card to my computer.i put the micro card in a little adaptor which fits into this usb thingee[2 inches long by 1 inch wide .the micro card adapter fits in one end and the other end has a usb fitting]
Then next step is to put your microSD/adaptor card into a memory card reader. Properly connected, the contents of your microSD card will be easily seen if you click on My Computer. Look for a new device within My Computer. You'll have to open the nestled folder you find there. Click on the View tab and choose Thumbnails, so you can see minature versions of the picturs. Then, you can copy your photos to any folder on the computer that you have or want to create.
Q: Do you specifically need the E3 card reader when downgrading a 3.72 ps3 to 3.55 using the E3 flasher, or can you just use any card reader, and if so what kind of card reader dose it have to be?
You need an E3 Flasher or similar device like a ProgSkeet. It's not a card reader. It's basically a second internal flash chip that can overwrite the one in your PS3. You have to open your system up to install it. But did your system come with 3.55 or lower orginally? If it had 3.72 out of the box you can't downgrade to 3.55 no matter what you use.
Q: i just bought a card reader, do you think the usb flash drive is better? im not sure.
A card reader is to insert the memory cards or sticks from devices like a digital camera. In fact when you put in the memory card then it is the same a USB drive. If you don't have a digital device with a memory card then you should just get a Flash Drive. Same thing without the reader and it fits nicely on your keychain.
Q: Can someone please explain to me how to do this or why it isn't working. please.and thank you for your help:]
Should be detailed instructions on a file on the disk. How is the card reader connected, USB or serial. What sort of card reader is it? Sim card, credit card swipe, memory card reader.
Q: i got a few readings from different tarot readers and they always end up with the same outcome or similar but in the end difficult to translate it into my situation, not knowing me personally n never seen the experts either.so i d like some help to understand more pleasethank you
Are you talking about a reading where you are having a conversation with the reader (either face-to-face or over the phone) or a reading over the internet where the reader doesn't have a chance to ask any questions or get clarification when the cards are offering mixed signals. For example, if you are a student, some cards will represent parents or teachers whereas if you are an adult the same card would probably be a boss or co-worker. The reader's interpretation of the cards message would be somewhat different since the relationship is different. You kind of have to go with what you feel and without being able to ask questions it's easy to get off-track. The more opportunity for exchange of information, the more clear the reading will be. Does that help you understand? I was doing a reading in Yahoo Answers and I got a Page. I was trying to use the Page one way, and it wasn't making sense. Then I suggested it might be a young person and suddenly she said, Yes, it's my son and then the whole reading was clear. But without that one piece of information, none of it fell together. That's why, if you have a specific question or are interested in a particular area of your life, it's best to communicate that as clearly as possible to the person doing your reading.
Q: I need help with my Card Reader, I have a Windows Xp 98. I bought a card reader, and i plugged it into my USB port, with my memory card I don't have 2.0 port though.the older version I have. My computer says that new software has been installed but I cant see it.Help!
I guess your operating system is Windows 98 (not XP). If so I think you will struggle a bit to get a USB 2.0 device working even in the existing USB 1.1 ports. You might be best to get a USB 2.0 card for your PC to give you a high speed port, but make sure that you get one that can run under Windows 98. The cards are not expensive. The easier route is just to see if you can get hold of a USB 1.1 card reader.
