- Q: Does it need the PCI-e power cable on the PSU
- Well the older models don't, but the newer models do. Theres either 6-pin, 8-pin, one 8-pin one 6-pin etc.
- Q: So I have some speakers that are for a PC. I just got a new laptop and I want to use the speakers, which I can with 100% ease but I want it to be portable, meaning I don't want to have to plug in my speakers to a wall outlet, i would like to hook it up with a USB. Is there way I can make a USB power cord so i can power the speakers from my laptop? I have a 12V DC 0.5A wall adapter and a usb to cut in half or whatever to make this thing work, i also have a soldering kit. Is this possible? Thansk for any help and Merry Christmas ;)
- No, USB is extremely low power. It's not going to happen.
- Q: I have an Eclipse SW9102 (101500 Watt Max, 750 W RMS, Dual 4ohm Voice coils) and I'm looking to buy an amp kit and amplifier. How big of an amp do I need and does it matter if its too much power? I'm looking at the SSL F2.2000 FORCE CLASS 2000W amp on OKorder as cost is a big factor in my setup. The OKorder link says:Max Power @ 2 ohm 1000W x 2 RMS Power @ 4 ohm 350W x 2 Bridged Power 2000W x 1 2 ohm stable in stereoIs this too powerful for my subwoofer? I've read that my sub can take more than it says but I don't want to risk it and I probably won't have this at full blast either. If I bought this one how would I wire it as I only have one sub?....would bridged be 4ohm 1000 Watt RMS x1?Also, what kind of amp installation kit should I buy? A lot of the 4 guage kits say they are rated for different maximum wattage. Are they actually different or can all 4 guage kits handle the same?Sorry I'm a noob! Thanks in advance!
- Hey okorder /
- Q: This type of cable with the armor without expert advice, thank you. More
- Eight or six no less, the first good fire retardant pipe on the line, the box can be opened after the slot
- Q: If I put pressure on the cord I have power but its almost impossable to work. A local computer repair said I have to replace the mother board. Can't the plug in the back be replaced? Thanks!
- Your local PC repair shop must be run by mildly retarded individuals...a loose power cable has nothing to do with your motherboard. You can try getting a new plug...if that doesn't work I might try replacing the power supply... LOL dr.bucksnort....I love it...nice one
- Q: i'm using an older mac at uni to do illustration, i pulled the computer round to put a tablet in it and the computer shut down, there are about 20 computers in the lab....the power cable at the back that is connected to the monitor is loose, i tried to put it back in but it's crackling....can i get electrocuted from putting it back in? i can't shut down all the computers so there's still electricity running through...thanks
- This is not a prob man i also use my monitor with a wire which is worn out from one terminal all you have to put some electric tape on it
- Q: So I had this monitor I used to use, then didn't use it for a while, now I want to use it again but can't find the power supply cable. I can get a new one, but the thing is I have to know what to ask for, right? I don't know what cable to ask for. I did some google search on it too but still can't seem to find exactly the type of the cable that is specified. Help? Can someone do it for me so I can go to my local electronics score and look for a cable that will do the work?

- Q: My setup is an alpine MRX-M100 powering 2 alpine type R 12's on 4 ohm, and also an old eclipse PA 5422 speaker amp. The main thing is I have 4 gauge running from my battery to my amps, but I have this sort of distribution block that turns the 4 gauge wire into 2 8 gauge wires. I know that this probably isn't the best for the MRX-M100, but it's all I had or what I could afford at the time. The main thing I wanted to ask was is this bad for the amp, and what would it be like if I had 0 gauge coming off the battery so then it would be 4 gauge going to the amps? Would it be louder? Could I turn it up higher? because right now if I turn up the volume past a certain point the subs will just stop playing. If I just shut off my head unit and turn it back on they start up again. Your thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated!
- okay alot of 4 gauge amp kits are not legit 4 gauge ive seen some more like 10 gauge of actual wire if you have legit awg wire you should be fine but you should have another 4 gauge strand to the alpine amp Id also recommend the big 3 upgrade your power will be increased greatly... if you want to run a 0 gauge you can but you could also just run another 4 gauge wire also make sure your grounds are sufficant because they shouldnt shut off either way
- Q: where can i put my amp power cable through my bulk head in my 1999 1.8L 16 valve ford mondeo lx?
- Find the main harness going through the fire wall and follow it
- Q: Electric power fittings, cable, tax classification code how to choose
- 1 Ordinary distribution box There is no switch device in the general distribution box
